My family and I stayed here on an extended trip. The house was amazing and fit all 10 of us comfortably. It is just a short walk to the beach which was a huge plus.

This home was the perfect place for our larger family to stay for a couple weeks on Oahu. It was very clean and had everything we needed. There’s a lot of great things close by- beaches, groceries, dining, etc… we we’re traveling around the island so it’s an hour or so drive to get to certain places, but it’s a beautiful drive. Probably the best deal on the island for what you’re getting. Would definitely rent again if we return!

We have rented quite a few homes over the time we have had the blessing of visiting Oahu but none can compare with the rentals owned and operated by the Chamberlains in Laie. We have now stayed in both rentals A and B of this beautiful duplex. The attention to detail as far as providing the most fun and memorable experience for those staying here is unlike anywhere else we have stayed. Everything has been thought out and provided for you. Beach toys, boogie boards, beach towels, umbrellas, shade, beach chairs, sunscreen (and I could go on and on) are all provided for you. You are a very short walk from one of the most beautiful and safe and uncrowded beaches in Hawaii (Hukilau Beach) and when you get home you have a great back yard with a hose to get all the sand off everything, a clothesline to dry your bathing suits and towels and a washer and dryer for anything that needs washing. There's a beautiful back yard with a gazebo and lights for evening as well as grill and plenty of seating. The inside of the home is decorated with class and style but is not pretentious. Four bedrooms and three bathrooms are almost unheard of in most rentals in this area unless you want a very expensive beach home - we had a group of 10 and we had more than enough room. We had the time of our lives and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this rental. Checking in and out was seamless and when we needed a port -a-crib and some garbage bag replacements we had them within minutes.
Kelly can provide you with a complete list of places to eat (don't miss Seven Brothers in Kahuku!) as well as fun places to visit, hike and experience. I think it's important to point out that you will be staying in a neighborhood among locals - not at all like staying in a resort full of tourists. One of the things we loved the most about this rental was the authentic feel of being in a home in a neighborhood. Greatest and most memorable experience we have had yet. Thanks again Kelly!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house was wonderful; but not overbearing. Perfect place an hour from Honolulu and some of the best beaches I've ever seen right across the road. Water heater went out once and they very promptly fixed it. Other than that no glitches. Would highly recommend this for families or people that do not want to be in the hustle and bustle that is Honolulu. My only complaint is I have to leave. Hope to return soon. Mahalo

We enjoyed renting this home! It was spacious, in a great location and Kelly was a wonderful host! We hope to go back to Oahu again, and when we do, this is going to be our first choice!

We had plenty of room to park, having 6 vehicles at one point. The owners were quick to respond with any questions. We enjoyed the easy access to the beach and surrounding attractions. The rooms were a comfortable temperature and found the air conditioning a bonus! We had access to beach chairs, boogies boards, sand toys, umbrellas and snorkel equipment. This made the experience over the top. We would rent this property again, and have referred our friends.

The home is beautiful and located within easy walking distance from the beach, the Laie temple, the foodmart, and the PCC. It provided us easy access to other locations on the north shore and got us away from the big cities. We had 10 people and were able to stay comfortably in this house by putting the two youngest kids on the folding bed in one of the rooms. Two people stayed in each of the other beds. The owners responded quickly to our inquiries and needs. Thank you!

The home is beautiful and located within easy walking distance from the beach, the Laie temple, the foodmart, and the PCC. It provided us easy access to other locations on the north shore and got us away from the big cities. We had 10 people and were able to stay comfortably in this house by putting the two youngest kids on the folding bed in one of the rooms. Two people stayed in each of the other beds. The owners responded quickly to our inquiries and needs. Thank you!

The house was wonderful. Had a small problem with the ice maker but the owner came right over to assess the situation. Very roomy and bedrooms were large. It was great having 3 bathrooms and a laundry facility. Highly recommend this home for family vacation.

It was so nice to have beach shades, chairs, boogie boards, towels etc for the beach and great beach to walk to! Grocery store, beach and lots of fun things to do close by. Great Family Rental
Kelly was very responsive and attentive to anything with the unit. The house is very clean and nice. It was perfect for our family vacation. I would highly recommend staying here - we would stay again if/when we come back!

Fabulous Stay
This home/duplex was BEAUTIFUL! The inside has been completely redone and it was first rate. Everything from the furnishings to the towels and beach toys. We walked two blocks to the beach which was so great for our group. Some could stay home or some could play. The large bedrooms and spacious bathrooms were perfect. At one point we blew a fuse. We looked for the fuse box and couldn't find it. I contacted the owner who got on it right away and we were fixed in no time. What a relief.
We will definitely stay here on our next visit to Oahu and we will also recommend it to any of our friends who might be coming this way.

Great Place!
The house was great, and better than we were expecting. The only reason I don't give it 5 starts was that the A/C is only in the living room. The master also has their own small A/C unit, but all the other rooms get pretty hot at night. There is so much room, and the house is newly renovated and in great shape.

Very Nice Place to Stay
This house was very nice, updated and clean.
We had a great time being so close to the beach. Hukilau beach is a perfect beach for families.
The house was very clean and fully stocked with everything we needed including shampoo and conditioner and body wash.
The kitchen was very well stocked with all of the necessities for cooking. I don't think was anything that we couldn't find.
Beds were comfortable and the backyard was nice.
There is a lot around the area to do. We chose to drive to Pearl Harbor and to the KoKo crater hike but you could easily just stay around the house area and have plenty to do.
Having 3 full baths and all the bedrooms was perfect!

Great Place
This is a great place with lots of space we had a group of 8 of staying here and had all kinds of room. House is clean, beds are comfortable and kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook a meal. Also the house has beach towels, boogie boards and sand toys. Great place will definitely book again when we go back.

Absolutely wonderful!
We loved this house! It was so spacious, clean, new, perfectly located, and comfortable. We had 10 people and never felt crowded. Kelly was helpful in answering questions about hikes and I especially loved how easy the check-in and check-out was. No long lists of do's and don'ts, just simple easy instructions. Couldn't have been better. We will definitely stay here again when we come to Laie. Thank you so much!!!

Perfect for our family of 12!
The house is even nicer than the pictures look - Kelly was amazing, responded instantly (throughout the entire booking from start to finish) and went above and beyond when it came to helping us out (we had lots of needs.) They were very gracious, and the property was gorgeous. Couldn't ask for a better Laie experience!
No bugs, just lots of small lizards (outside), which was awesome to see for the children! It is far from Honolulu / Waikiki, but that's why we chose it! Plus the drive there is breathtaking.
Hukilau beach (5 min walk) is perfect for kids. If you're looking for somewhere far away from the city - this is your place. It's within 20 minutes to all the amazing north shore attractions and amazing beaches. Definitely would go here again.

Perfect Family Beach House!
We LOVED our stay in Laie! The house fit our family of 10 perfectly. The beds were amazingly comfortable - seriously silky sheets. The entire home was cute and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook up a few meals for our large group, which was great . We also really liked being able to use the BBQ out back and having access to a washer and dryer was a plus as well. The owners really did think of everything to make this house vacation friendly. There were beach towels, beach toys and even a cute binder with tips for getting around the island and things to do. The most important part though was the customer service we received from Kelly and her husband Drew. They went above and beyond to help us out! When we arrived at the airport, we realized that we had left one suitcase back at the rental. They were incredible at helping us get the problem solved and were kind enough to drive the suitcase out to us. You know you can't go wrong when you're working with people like that! We look forward to renting from them again.

Great house!
I enjoyed my stay at this house. I'll list out the pros and cons...
Pros: House was just as pictured! Nicely decorated,modern and rooms were clean. Bed and pillows were comfortable to sleep in. Thick shades/curtains to keep the sunlight out in the morning. Fans in the rooms did their job; most effective when you're laying down on the bed. TV had Netflixs hooked up and we utilized the guest account for a movie. Beach items were available with plenty of beach towels to use. Driveway was big enough to hold 2 cars for your side of the house.
Cons: Kitchen could use a few more accessories; we cooked 1 meal at the house and found it a bit difficult to cook, but made due with what was available. It would be nice to have a stool available at the house as well. The kids had difficulty brushing their teeth with the sinks because they were pretty high for my 6 yo. A few items outside of the owner's control: Drive to the city was really quite far. I knew this when making the reservations, but making the trip out and back with 1.5 hours each way can be quite tiring... If you plan your activities around the east side of the island or even the north side, it would be a good house to stay at. Another thing was the "island bugs". There were spiders and other critters crawling around the house. I think they just are in the area and it's not that the house was dirty... but if you leave your food out, the critters will come.
Overall, I would say that this property is a great house to stay at, especially if you plan your activities to the east and north part of the island, or if you plan to attend the Polynesian Culture Center (it's very close!).
