The cottage was very clean and just the right size for my husband and I. Just a block away from the ocean and centrally located for our tourist destinations. Communication with the owners was great when needed.

We really enjoyed our stay! Located on a quiet street, the house was well equiped, clean and fitted our family needs. Would definitely consider going back.

Second time we rent this cute little cottage. All you need is included. A covered picnic area should be a must on warm rainy day. Interior walls need to be deep clean or a paint refresh. But either than that, we felt like home. Thans to share this little gem with us.

Very comfortable and well situated. Easy walk to the beach and an easy drive to Portland and the lighthouse areas. Quick response from the owners. Very nice place to stay.

The cottage was very clean and had all the things you would need for a comfortable stay. It was located a short walk to the beach (we went almost every day). There is a Trolley stop a short walk to the corner that runs every hour and takes you to Old Orchard Beach. Cost is minimal. Plenty of restaurants with in easy distance from the cottage. The owners were very accessible if there was a problem and got it fixed fast....Our front door wasn't locking, we called it in and the next day it was fixed. Thank you for a wonderful experience. The only reason we did not try to rebook is we have a cottage booked on a lake for next year...

We have stayed in this property before and it continues to be the perfect place for a beach vacation. It is a close walk to the beach where you can find a quiet place to relax. It is close to Bailey’s Lobster pound where you can pre order your cooked lobster and enjoy them on the picnic table at your front door. It was very quiet in the cottage which has everything you need. And of course it was very clean.

This cottage is perfect for us. Private, clean, has everything we need including a short walk to the beach. Can’t wait to come back.

Check-in was simple and set up so I could do it on my own schedule. The house was clean and well supplied with linens, handy kitchen appliances, and any cooking tool you will need. For rainy days, there were a couple of dozen DVDs, a couple of dozen games of every level of difficulty, and a few shelves of novels. There was an iron and board - handy for me because I was attending some graduation events. The beach was less than 5 minutes on foot, although there is a nearby public beach access parking area if you insist on carrying more stuff to the beach than you can walk with. If you want, you can walk to enough restaurants to satisfy most, but it takes almost 8 minutes to drive to a very good general grocery in nearby Old Orchard Beach. Room to park two cars. Each bedroom has a closet - the only negative I have about the otherwise wonderful experience is that these closets each has a dresser inside, making the hanging of clothes impractical. For most beach-goers this is not an issue because the dressers provide plenty of drawer space, but as I said I had some more dressy events. Fortunately both bedrooms and the bathroom have door-mounter clothes gadgets that hold five hangers each, If you want to do more serious shopping, the mall near the airport is close at hand, or your can pop over to Saco/Biddeford in under 20 minutes. Maybe the best part of the VRBO experience (my first ever) was how quickly the owners responded to any question I sent them, even where I simply failed to understand how the door lock worked. I will check with this owner first for any trips I make up to see the family from now on. Decently priced, conveniently located, well-managed - I’ll take it any day over a hotel, if you could find one this close to the beach for this weekly rate.

This little place couldn't be sweeter. We walked back and forth to the sandy beach, cooked local lobsters, and went to sleep to the sound of the waves. One of our favorite vrbos ever!

We had a great stay at the Rose Wind Cottage. It was a perfect location and little get away for our family!

This cottage is picturesque, clean and quiet with a fun entrance. The queen bed and two twins fit us perfectly. The bird feeders outside were very entertaining. There were lots of good restaurants within walking distance and the beach was nearby. We also enjoyed the huge marsh just outside of town where you can go canoeing. A screen door for circulation and to keep the mosquitos out would help and air-conditioning would have been great when it got to 97 degrees! But, I think that doesn't happen often. We managed to miss the garbage instructions on the refrigerator which were in small print. Garbage day is on Friday and we needed to have put the bins out at the road. A more prominent sign for that would be a good idea as the people before us missed that detail as well. We would return in a heartbeat! Thanks so much to Karen and Stephan Seymore.

Beautiful, affordable cottage at Pine Point Beach! We had two wonderful weeks in Maine. Highpoints were morning coffee while watching the birds at the feeders, long beach walks before cooking breakfast in the fully stocked kitchen, relaxing on the beach and delicious dinners at local places that we could walk to. We did utilize the grill and lobster pot as well! The cottage has four beach chairs and a beach umbrella - bring your own beach towels. It is also stocked with books, games, puzzles and DVDs. There is a small market within walking distance for some items and they also have coffee, baked goods and deli sandwiches. There is a larger grocery store not far away on Route 1. We bought a styrofoam cooler for our afternoons at the beach. The only low point of our trip was leaving! It was an absolutely perfect vacation and we will be back! The Williams Family Albuquerque, NM
