We had a great stay. Very clean! Spice selection was really good. Lol. We didn't use the jacuzzi though. Wish we had more time to try it out. We will definitely stay there again!

This was a nice place with a huge back yard. It was super cute with great decor. I know a lot of the reviews say southwest, i think more of organized boho! Other reviews said the area is sketchy, it is a bit but only by the looks. I didn't run into anyone or anything that worried me at all. I'll definitely stay again next time I'm in the area!

The property was a small quaint house. Clean with lots of hot water. The ,kitchen was adequately stocked. The area is older with construction ongoing. The AC in bedroom went off after 2 or 3 hours and would not go back on. There was a fan in the room so all went well. It was 101 degrees outside.. The host forgot to notify us of the code to enter. We followed up and got a contact person in in India. Sort of weird. All worked out and our stay was nice, Lock box is hard to open. .More lighting inside would be nice. Robert July 16, 2023

Decent stay for a couple staying for a short bit. Freeway is 10 mins or less. Furniture is clean and comfortable, and the soaker tub adds to the relaxing ambiance. For the price it beats any hotel. Neighborhood is quiet with a small park across the street. Recommended.

This jacuzzi house was perfect for our "meet" -i-versary. What caught our eye was this property is pet friendly. There's a spacious back yard where our dogs could play and chase each other. The jacuzzi was a great addition to the package. The soak and jets helped ease away the day.

Great experience. It would be even better in the summer to enjoy yard and patio amenitiesb

Cute house, very clean. Jacuzzi was nice. The neighborhood was pretty ran down.

This is an adorable little property. Fully fenced backyard, with a fenced w/gated front entry. The house had everything I needed to cook instead of ordering out. I know the area SEEMS sketchy, but this neighborhood was quiet. Full of kids and animals. I definitely will be keeping this place in mind when we go to Nampa again! Thank you for an amazing stay!

We were happy to be able to stay. It was refreshing when we were done with our day to walk into a cool home and take a bath in the jetted tub. We would definitely stay again.

The place was nice but in a terrible neighborhood. There were also a lot of bugs inside the house- little black bugs were on the wall, in the bathroom and we even found some in the bed! Although the neighborhood was rough it was very quiet and we liked the backyard.

This property is located in a very sketchy area. Since we are locals it would have been nice to know the address before hand. We kept waking up at night hearing noises outside worried about our cars getting broken into. It would have been nice to know if the house had central heat and air. They had an old heater wall unit and my wife got sick in the night due to the type of heat. I don’t want to be negative, but as a customer it would have been nice to know the basics. Going forward we will ask in the future. On a positive note, we did enjoy the jacuzzi. Because of the area and the type of heat in my opinion it was not worth the money invested. Unfortunately, Anniversary Inn in Boise would have been a better fit for us or some other place.

I read reviews for the "Cozy Cottage." It matters to me to set expectations fairly for a vacation rental; existing reviews didn't. I promise to be objective, as I always try to be.
But first, top line: My wife and I spent a comfortable seven nights in this property, long enough to chart its charms and feel its foibles. We ate out.
First the charm: It's compact, (Zillow says) 672 square feet compact. The cottage has a Common Crossing, where the Living Room/Dining Room/Kitchen meets the doors to the bedroom and the bathroom. Decor is decidedly "South of the Border."
The bedroom is largely filled by a king-size bed: mattress was comfortable, and bedding adequate; pillows a bit less so. There's a place to hang clothes, mostly on the wall opposite the foot of the bed; there is a small space for hanging clothes in the closet. A dresser would be a welcome addition, esp. for long stays.
Though we didn't use it, there is a second flat-screen in the bedroom. Besides an inadequate source of live TV, there is an entire SmartTV's worth of streaming services awaiting your log-in!
The kitchenette is well-equipped: Range (electric); microwave; toaster; full-size refrigerator. And plenty of hot water. The gas water heater is located in a locked closet off of the kitchen. We didn't use the highly-advertised Jacuzzi, so we didn't test the hot-water supply. The water heater appears to be set on "Scald."
Now the foibles: Area, Ambiance, Heating, Plumbing. The area is run-down Old Nampa. The Cottage was apparently built in 1930, consistent with the neighborhood. There is some very recent infill construction. There are more than a few mobile homes interspersed, with trashy yards.
The Information Book (IBook) mentions the park and steel plant - no noise issues for us. Not mentioned: The sugar-beet processing plant just over a mile in the opposite direction. When the wind is right, well ... it smells!
Main heat is a fan-driven electric wall heater in the Common Crossing area.
Plumbing is eclectic: The shower, which worked fine, is part of the well-reviewed Jacuzzi (which we did not use as a Jacuzzi). Take the warning in the IBook seriously about getting in/out of the shower. If you are of a certain age, use the grab-bar! The toilet is set away from the wall, but worked as expected. The bath sink faucet was the best plumbing fixture in the Cottage, but still made mixing Scalding water with Cold water a challenge. The kitchen faucet needs replacing!

Quaint, very clean little house. Great attention to decor. Highlight was the bathroom hot tub. Everything works well and we enjoyed after a long drive. Place is close to downtown restaurants, etc. Owner was very friendly and responsive which made it that much nicer. Will most likely return as we make this trip yearly!

Fantastic spot. I can't say enough about my stay here. Was looking for anything with a hot tub and found this on accident. Best part, the property manager leaves you alone! Pick up the key in a lock box and just stay. There was a bbq grill and we cooked burgers the second night, plenty of dishes and such provided. The tub is the crown jewel of the property. Book this and you won't be disappointed.

The home was great and perfect for my brief stay! This house outshines the rest of the neighborhood by quite a bit. That being said, everything seemed very quiet and there were no worries. The interior is decorated in bright cheerful colors, and everything was clean and in working order. The park across the street is nice. Would stay here again!

Cute, Quiet, and Quaint
First, Christy is an amazing host! Quick communication turnaround and great helpful information. I’m 6’4”, so the fan in the living room was something I had to be aware of. Very clean and pet friendly. Good amenities, but wish the coffee maker was bigger. Bed was comfortable and bedding was good and clean. Couch was comfortable but too low for me to easily get out of. Bathroom was big and the jacuzzi tub was nice. The location was very nice and a really short distance from the freeway. There is a park across from the house. Parking is good. A nice covered outdoor area and a grill and ceramic fireplace. We didn’t utilize because it was too cold. The TVs are nice in the living room and bedroom utilizing Roku WiFi device with Sling TV service that gets sports, news, and basic channels from DirecTV. WiFi was good. We did have to reset the router and got the TVs working again. We would definitely recommend this property to stay at and if we need to be in the Nampa area again we would definitely try to book it. Thanks Christy for being a great host!

Stay-cation
This was a nice little get away for my husband and I. We live local and still had to be around for work during the day but we were in need of some much needed us time. We couldn't have asked for a better spot. I will recommend this to all my family over staying in a hotel.
It was dark when I arrived and it was dark when I left for work in the morning so I didn't see much of the neighborhood but it looked like there was a park across the street.
It was cold out so we didn't use the back yard but they did a great job setting it up to entertain.

Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Nicely decorated and well supplied.
The two air conditioners kept the home cool and comfortable during some very hot weather.
Christy Cox, manager, was very friendly and helpful.
Would definitely recommend and will return.
