Simple Modern Cabin
The cabin had all of the modern amenities we wanted. It was a great central location for us to base ourselves from to do day trips to seward, independence mine, and talkeetna. We didn't have any problems. I loved that it had one room with two single beds beds because my kids never want to share a queen.

This property was the perfect place to stay for 13 days. We were very comfortable, the home is very nice. The location is central to many things in the MatSU Valley. WE would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend

Cute unit on a fairly busy street which resulted in some traffic noise. It was very convenient to have 2 bathrooms and the beds were great. The items in the kitchen were thoughtfully selected....useful essentials without a lot of superfluous stuff ie; old food and condiments. Perfect. Appreciated the nice toiletries. Loved having a garage. My final comment has to do with the water which seems to leave a gritty film on all the dishes. I rewashed before using. Perhaps a water filter would remedy this minor issue in an otherwise comfortable stay.

Cute unit on a fairly busy street which resulted in some traffic noise. It was very convenient to have 2 bathrooms and the beds were great. The items in the kitchen were thoughtfully selected....useful essentials without a lot of superfluous stuff ie; old food and condiments. Perfect. Appreciated the nice toiletries. Loved having a garage. My final comment has to do with the water which seems to leave a gritty film on all the dishes. I rewashed before using. I appreciated the size of the cottage as this was a 6-week stay. I used this property as a base while visiting in Alaska. I had plenty of room to set up a sewing corner for the rainy days. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fairly well stocked (though I did have to get a good paring knife and a can opener which I have found a common need at vrbo units). The hot water was plentiful which was lovely after a day of hiking! For my family and me the location was good for access to shopping and recreation as well as to the library and church. The outdoor patio area was a plus for relaxing after a busy day and the area was kept well maintained. The owners are local so I knew any issues would be dealt with quickly (there were no issues). Highly recommend.

We only had one problem and that was could not figure out how the TV worked. Needed better instructions. But other than that this is a fantastic place to stay

This place is so great!! It's very modern, completely spotless, and quiet. We really loved it. It's also in a very convenient location. We live in Bethel (400 miles west of Anchorage) and don't love the busyness of Anchorage (although that will make some laugh as it's not a big city). This house is close enough to Anchorage that you can get back there if needed without much effort, but you are near the conveniences of Wasilla and still somewhat removed to feel more calm. If you are heading north for more of your journey you're in great position. We will definitely stay here again!

We live in Bethel (400 miles west of Anchorage) and don't love the busyness of Anchorage (although that will make some laugh as it's not a big city). This house is close enough to Anchorage that you can get back there if needed without much effort, but you are near the conveniences of Wasilla and still somewhat removed to feel more calm. If you are heading north for more of your journey you're in great position. We will definitely stay here again!

Wasilla Best Accommodations
We have family in Wasilla and visit numerous times each year. We have stayed at other hotels and vacation rentals This property is the best we have ever had. It is spacious, well furnished , the kitchen is a dream and it looks brand new. The beds were very comfortable with different firmness of pillows offered. Better than any hotel certainly and absolutely the best accommodations around. I would give it more stars if I could and I actually own a vacation rental and have stayed in numerous others

We will definitely stay here again. A much better value than any hotel in the area with the comforts of home. It was also much less stressful with the kids having there own bedroom and bath.

Modern Home w/ All The Amenities
I had a pleasant stay at Stoneridge Place while I was visiting a friend in Wasilla. The home was very clean and offered all of the amenities you would need for either a short, or long term stay. The grounds were well kept, and the home was far enough off the road you didn't hear much traffic.
I'll surely be looking at staying at Stoneridge place again during my next visit to the valley.

Traveling Texans
This was a great place to spend a few days in that area. We went to Denali State Park and got excellent pictures of Mt Denali! The weather was perfect and the lodging was just what we needed. It was a little warm for Alaska so we had to open all the windows to get cool enough since there is no ac. Quite an odd thing for a Texas!

Perfect cabin getaway
The cabin was perfect for us, it was very clean and the use of the washer and drier as well as the garage were a big plus!! Love to stay again if in the area!!

Great place
We chose this property based on the photos of the kitchen- we love to cook. It could use a whisk, a pie pan, bread knife, mixing and serving bowls. We loved the back yard with table and chars, fire pit and corn hole. We’ll be back!!

Heat-Wave Weekend in Wasilla
What a perfect cottage-like feel we had for our first trip to the Anchorage area! Even though it was hot outside, the house seemed to stay on the cooler side—although a ceiling fan would have been beneficial, we were comfortable. We came from California for a friend’s wedding and loved our stay in this home. The owner is kind and hands-on, if needed. This home was very functional for the four of us who enjoyed our stay, with its beautiful and clean decor, and comfortable beds! Very cozy! We hope to return to this scenic Alaskan get-a-way, one day!
