Great location. Close to shops, restaurants, public beach and marina. This is a second story apartment/condo over shops. Enjoyed the deck which had eastern views of the marina and bay. Karen provided great communication and was available for questions if we needed. Also, loved having a Keurig coffee maker too.

The Suttons Bay apartment was a wonderful place to stay. It was spotless, spacious, and had a full kitchen. The location was perfect with views of the marina.

Very clean comfortable condo, right across the street from a harbor and sandy beach, complete with picnic and shady areas. The condo is right around the corner from cute shops and restaurants. Very enjoyable, relaxing time.

This second-floor unit is located squarely in the middle of small Suttons Bay, close enough to walk to the coffee shops (Northern Latitudes is directly below), restaurants, shops, bike rentals, the beach and more. The unit itself provides ample space for four adults - two bedrooms separated by a spacious bathroom in between. The selling point, and where we spent the majority of our time, is the balcony overlooking the marina with a view of the bay. Four Adirondack chairs and two side tables fit us perfectly. We did not bring any kids, but for families that do, there is a good size beach right next to the marina with playground sets and volleyball nets.
Suttons Bay ended up being the ideal landing spot for us. We visited wineries and restaurants from Leland to Traverse City, including a stop at Brys Estates Vineyard (amazing views) in the Old Mission peninsula. In case your visit includes a wine tour, don’t miss 45, Two K, and Aurora.
Karen (the host) was very timely with informative texts and messages about checking in and making sure everything was in place.
If we decide to return to Suttons Bay, this will be the first place we look for reservations for sure! 5 stars all the way.

Suttons Bay Gem
We enjoyed a wonderful weekend in Suttons Bay to attend a wedding. First of all, the location is perfect - walkable to dinner, coffee, ice cream, not to mention the beach is right across the street! Wineries are close (Shady Lane / Black Star) and Leland / Northport a quick 10-15 minute trip. The Tart bike trail begins right in Suttons Bay and is a nice17 mile trail that is relatively flat. The unit was very clean, comfortable beds/living room furniture, and nice patio overlooking the marina. This is an upstairs unit. Would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic location for day trips! Great view of the dock and bay. Accommodations were very comfortable. Everything was good, as advertised. The kitchen had basic furnishings for simple meals. We ate most of our meals out at wonderful restaurants within walking distance, based on Karen’s recommendations, and within easy driving distance around the peninsula.

The view is amazing, the place was spacious, and our host was extremely responsive! You are literally staying above downtown which makes for some amazing relaxing walks in the morning and very easy strolls you get a drink/dinner later on. We had the best time exploring Sutton’s bay here!

This VRBO was great! So close to trails, downtown, and great things to do in Sutton’s bay!!!

My only suggestion would be to have the location marked, it was difficult but not impossible to find at night (the awning was removed, which had the address on it) and to add additional lighting in the bathroom. Great place to stay!
We had a great time staying at the condo in Sutton’s Bay! It’s close to shops, coffee and restaurants. The deck is a nice place to sit and enjoy the water view as well. The public beach is a short walk away. I’m sure we will be back again!

Wonderful trip!
This property was perfect! The condo was clean, spacious and most importantly very quiet. It was excellent for our children as we could simply walk them to the beach, park, shops etc. We will definitely be back again!

Perfection location!! Walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in Sutton’s bay. Super clean. Great view of the water and marine. Wish the beds were a little softer, but great if you like a firm mattress. Up north little gem!!

Wonderful property, great location and close to wineries, beach and shopping. Centrally located in Leelanau County, so close to drive within 10-15 minutes of Traverse City, Leland and Northport.
