The food was great. Loved the Biryani. The tent house had a cozy vibe. The staff was really sweet and amicable.

The stay was very comfortable and peaceful. Our room was clean and spacious.

The restaurant was a little slow and needed to improve the taste.

As an urban backpacker, my recent stay at Bunker Hostel in Bir was a delightful experience. This cozy and affordable hostel truly exceeded my expectations. The location of Bunker Hostel is ideal, situated in the heart of Bir and within walking distance of the main attractions. The hostel itself has a unique ambiance with its rustic decor and comfortable common areas. The staff were friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist with any queries or travel recommendations. One of the highlights of my stay was the dormitory. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms were clean and well-maintained. The hostel also provided lockers for securing personal belongings, adding an extra layer of security. Bunker Hostel offered a range of amenities that catered to the needs of backpackers. The common area was a great place to socialize and meet fellow travelers, creating a vibrant atmosphere. Additionally, the hostel provided reliable Wi-Fi, which was essential for planning my daily activities. The hostel's affordability was another standout feature. With its budget-friendly rates, Bunker Hostel provided excellent value for money without compromising on quality. It was the perfect choice for travelers seeking a comfortable and economical stay.

Bunker resembles a home. I believe it's preferable to experience this on your own. However, based on my personal experience, I do advise everyone to avoid scheduling your days around being in bunkers. Advice: Minimum Stay: 3 weeks

Even though I was not expecting to walk into a Hostel like building, I kind of liked the bohemian vibe , probably created with some effort by the owner . Also, just before we left, we got a taste of the food from the kitchen. Excellent parathas ;-) I would also like to express how much I appreciated an earlier phone conversation with the owner, before I made the booking. He was kind and helpful in sharing information of the local paragliding competition. It also looks like a lot of effort has gone into designing and upgrading the rooms upstairs. Couple of things could have been better, but I considered it part of the adventure 1. location was a bit remote from the center of Bir 2. Not entirely upfront about the hostel like environment. on the booking.com website 3. Service could certainly have been better. The front desk only opens at 830 am. So if you are up early, you are on your own. That said, I would like to give a shout out in the end to Pawan , who made amends in the very end by expiditing a lovely breakfast for us
