If you have transportation, it is conveniently located near many local attractions, including Lake Arenal, Arenal Volcano and the numerous hot spring resorts in the area. There is a Pali supermarket just down the street and plenty of restaurants in the town of La Fortuna. Our kids enjoyed the pool and had a blast playing under the waterfall. The home and bedrooms were spacious and it was nice to be able to chill in our own space after days spent at crowded hot springs. Just an advisory for any property that you utilize in a tropical/humid location like this one: there will be plenty of bugs and also things tends to break down quicker. All in all, it was a nice getaway for us, thank you for the use of your property!

This place is so amazing! The pictures don’t do it justice at all. I have stayed in many VRBOs and have never had such an experience! We will be back to La Fortuna and we will stay here when we come back. Thank you for hosting us.

Our family of 5 stayed in Casa Turquesa June 1-6. It was super clean, nice and very accommodating. The location was perfect-only about a 2-3 minutes drive from La Fortuna. We would definitely stay here again.

This was a perfect house for our family of 5 (3 school age kids, 2 adults). The location was great, just a 5 min drive into downtown La Fortuna for groceries and great restaurants. 20-30 min drive to all the activities (volcano hike, zip lining, hot springs resorts, chocolate tour, horseback riding, etc.). The only downside of location is the the house is right off of the Main/busy Street into downtown. You can hear the traffic passing throughout the night but would not pass up on renting this house because of this issue. The location/space/amenities outweigh the noise. The house is extremely spacious and there was more then enough room for all of us. Each room has its own A/C unit. The kitchen had everything we needed if we wanted to cook but we ate most of our meals out. The pool was perfect for our kids to swim in during the afternoons and evenings. The only downfall of the pool area is the seating. There is no where to sit around the pool. The only seating is near the BBQ which is hidden away from the pool making it hard to interact with the kids. Again, nothing to deter you from staying here - its still a fabulous space. The bonus of this house was our sloth experience. We got to see a sloth come down from one of the trees on the property and crawl along the fence! It was by far the best sighting we had during the entire stay. We also saw a couple toucans in the trees! The host is attentive and very fast to respond with any questions or needs. She even provided us with a contact name/email for a gentlemen that can help book all of your activities during your stay for you. He was very helpful and all of the tours he selected for us were great! If we ever end up back in La Fortuna we will definitely stay here again! Thank you again for everything!

We had a great stay. The property is close to town but out far enough to feel secluded. The property is well kept and nice. Communication with the host was top notch! She even recommended places to eat and activities. We had an issue with water in the house due to a massive rain storm and they responded to fast and took care of the issue immediately. Highly recommend staying here and would stay again.

Loved the house and yard. Enjoyed the birds and other wildlife. Proximity to La Fortuna was handy for dinners and shopping and the host was very timely on responding to any questions we had. The house was such a fun place to stay in, the mood was so eclectic. Outdoor area was really nice, we spent most of our time out there under the gazebo, in the pool or swinging in the chairs. Overall, the house was well stocked, clean and full of relaxing amenities. Hilda was extremely responsive snd accommodating. One of the best rental experiences I've had. Only bummer is how close the house is to the main road, but meh.

We loved the heated pool and outdoor space for cooking and relaxing. Had a very exciting close encounter with a sloth so amazing. The inside of the house was beautiful and extremely clean.

This is by far the best home in the area. Beautiful house with a very nice heated pool with lights for swimming after dark. Hosts were very responsive to questions and requests during the stay.

Had everything we needed. Tons of room for a family, close to town, amazing backyard, AC, and a washer and dryer.

Our group of 7 loved this property for many reasons; close to town, pool and grill area, TV for us to watch Jurassic Park, room to spread out and an attentive host! The house is right off the highway and my room was on the road side of the house but I did not hear the traffic over the AC.

Die Kommunikation war sehr gut, täuscht aber nicht darüber hinweg, dass das Haus direkt an der Hauptstraße mit entsprechendem Lärm liegt und wir nach drei Tagen vorzeitig genervt abgereist sind. Das LKW Hupen war über die Ohrstöpsel hinweg zu hören. Außerdem wird man außerhalb des Hauses auf dem Gelände 24/7 Videoüberwacht. Dazu kann man stehen wie man will wir haben uns sehr unwohl und überwacht gefühlt. Die Spüle war einen Tag undicht, wurde aber sehr schnell behoben und der Wasserdruck war darauf zwei Tage nicht wirklich vorhanden. Des Weiteren verströmten die Zimmer einen höchst unangenehmen Geruch. Viel zu starkes Airwick in den Steckdosen. Auch waren am Pool keine Liegen und nur eine einzige Hängematte vorhanden obwohl uns bei der Buchung welche versprochen waren.

I have reasonably high standards and this house did not disappoint. I have stayed in the resorts at La Fortuna and this is a great option if you want more privacy and a LOT more room. The kids LOVED the pool and they were able to play and splash without us having to worry about other guests. We had a rental car, and the nearest grocery store was just about a 3 minute drive. Town was just a few minutes further. The place was clean, there were plenty of towels, there is a maintenance person at the ready, and the owner was very responsive to our needs. Please be advised that there is not a formal address and we encountered an issue at customs that required the owner to talk with the customs agent-- be prepared with an alternative address upon arrival. Also, it was a little hard to find at dark. . The owner is very responsive and accommodating. I would definitely stay at this house again and would recommend it to friends

We rented the house to cook an American Thanksgiving dinner. The property was everything we could have wished for. The house is clean and spacious. The property manager was great and offers a lot of advice with regards to local restaurants and tourism. The pool was great during the hot afternoons. We will definitely be returning next year.

We enjoyed our stay at this house. It is a little far out of town but it is a very drive. We did have to hook up the propane tank to use the stove. Also, wished to road noise wasn't so loud. The house is well furnished and the kitchen was well supplied.
