Cove House was just perfect for our family! Beautiful views of the Cove and lots of space to spread out yet cozy at the same time. We all said everything was even better in person than the pictures… Comfortable beds with great linens, a gas fireplace for the cooler nights and a well appointed kitchen. Highly recommend and would definitely come back! Thank you!

My family enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. The space was perfect for us. The view of the water and access to kayaks and canoe was a bonus. House was well stocked and had all we needed for cooking meals. Kim is a great host.

We had an amazing week! Just waking up every morning with the view was a win! Everything else was a bonus! We are ready to go back. Also the kitchen was unbelievably well equipped! And the owners are delightful!

We had a wonderful vacation at the cove house. The house was big enough for all 10 of us. It was our first trip to Maine and we love it. Things I wish I would have know before I went….. 1. Bring your own bags for groceries and overall shopping ( Maine is bagless). 2. You can’t bring too much bug spray. We are already talking about when we can go back. Loved it!

This house plus the adjacent carriage house were perfect for our family of 12. We loved being on the quieter side of the island, close enough to Bar Harbor but away from the crowds. The house was well-equipped, and the host always responded promptly to any questions we had. We hope to stay here again sometime.

On the quiet side of MDI, this property is beautiful outside and inside. Comfortable rooms, lovely decor. Perfectly fit our family of 6 adults with 2 young boys and 1 young girl. Owner is next door. Instructions for the house were very clear. Just a lovely place.

My family of 6 adults and one teenager enjoyed a wonderful week at the Cove House! The home was spotless and in such a beautiful setting with easy access to the ocean. The rooms in the house are well appointed for a large group and everyone had plenty of room. The kitchen is fully stocked! Due to awesome weather, we enjoyed a lovely week of daily hiking and bike riding in Acadia. I can't wait to return and would definitely stay at this property again.

We had previously stayed in the Carriage House property for our girls trip in 2015. When we were planning to return with a larger group this year, we decided to book Cove House. It was just as lovely as Carriage House and we love staying on the Quietside. The hosts were very responsive to any needs we had during the trip. We will certainly stay here again!

We loved the house. It was perfect for our family. Room for 7 adults, one teen, and 2 toddlers without feeling cramped. The views are great, and it was a nice quiet spot to come home to at the end of the day. The property was clean, and had all the amenities we needed. The owner was responsive to questions. We loved our week long stay in Tremont. We had 8 adults and 4 kids, ages 2 to 5. The younger kids slept comfortably in the main floor twin/trundle right off the kitchen, and the 4 and 5 year olds slept in the two twin room upstairs. They all enjoyed walking along the shore collecting sand dollars and playing outside on the grassy lawn. The 4 adult couples each had their own room and bath, as we rented the main house and the adjoining cottage. Everyone was super comfy. We enjoyed large meals at the dinner table for all of us, and the kitchen was well stocked with all the pots, pans, dishes, etc that we needed. The location was perfect for us - a calm quiet neighborhood where the kids could run about, and a short walk to the water's rocky edge where we kayaked and searched for shells. We loved the nearby town, we had coffee, and homemade pies, and ate at two locations for lobster, both of which were great, one was Mainely-delite and Thurston's. Both were really easy to navigate with our large group. We didn't get to do the carriage rides in Acadia - you need to book those in advance We did a great boat tour at a place just north of Bar Harbor Bar Harbor is a great place for meals and drinks and shopping, or just walking about! It was a great trip and our place in Tremont was the perfect home base.

We loved our time at this beautiful property in early June. It is very quiet and right on the ocean. The owners were very kind and responsive to our needs. Check in/out is a breeze. Be prepared to drive quite a bit for island attractions and restaurants if you want to experience those things (30 minutes one way to Bar Harbor and Cadillac Mt.). Also, bring your own kitchen and bath supplies, including soap, cooking spices, coffee, and tissues. We would go back in a heartbeat!!

House and property are beautiful, house is right on the ocean on the quiet side of the island. Kitchen is fully equipped for all cooking and baking needs right down to 2 different sized crockpot. The only thing that I would note as a drawback, but not a criticism is that because of the exposed wood ceilings in the living and dining rooms there is no sound barrier for the bedrooms above. This was only an issue for our group when some of the group were getting up at 6 am to hit the Precipice trail and the remainder who chose not to do that hike remained up late playing cards in the dining room. Those that went to bed early got little sleep.

Breathtaking views with a quiet, private setting. Well appointed home with space and comfort. Perfect for large groups who want to spread out. 7 min drive to Southwest Harbor with shops and great restaurants. We so enjoyed our stay!

We enjoyed a beautiful week at this property. We loved the quiet area, and salty sea breezes that blew through the house. This house was stocked with everything we could ever need, and was very clean. When we arrived the doors and windows were open, and the cool breeze made us feel very welcome. If we had any questions, the owners were a phone call away and were very quick to help. Our family had people of many ages. The grandparents enjoyed the comfortable accommodations in the master suite. The kids (ages 9-14) loved exploring the beach, looking for sea glass and sand dollars. The parents enjoyed the solitude of the location, and playing cards on the dining room table nightly. We will definitely return to this location!

We really loved our stay at Mary Ann's house. It's well situated, not far from many of the activities that the island has to offer, the views over the water are beautiful and very relaxing and the house offers plenty of room for 2 families with young kids. The kitchen has everything you need to cook your fanciest recipes and overall the house and its garden could not be cleaner. We appreciated spending time outside, in the garden or at the small beach close-by. Communication with Mary Ann has been very easy and efficient. She provided good advice on close by activities.
