Very comfortable property. I will also point out the stairs to the upstairs Master are very steep. A senior or someone with knee problems would be unable to sleep in that room.

Potter's Cottage was in a great location and was perfect for our 5 day New Year's vacation. It was very clean, well-appointed and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the pool too! We liked that it was just a block off the quieter end of Duval, and we easily walked or biked to everything we wanted to do. The room with the pullout couch had doors for privacy and was just big enough for the bed unfolded, but my 5'11" son said it was very comfortable, and he was happy in there. One thing to note is the steps to the upstairs bedroom are steep, so this is not a cottage for someone who has issues with stairs. We really appreciated the help of the wonderful staff at HKWVR planning our first trip to Key West!

It was a great stay, birthday week for my partner with her parents. It’s a block from the action of Duvall, yet still peaceful and enjoyable. The house, the neighborhood, the neighbors, and the weather were all great. I look forward to staying there again when we want to go to Key West, absolutely perfect.

Absolutely love this cottage. It was just the right size for 2 or 4. The addition of a private pool and the backyard covered patio, are divine. It’s like your little oasis away from the bustling world. The cottage looks exactly like pictured and it’s very convenient to all of the great places on Duvall street. There’s a free, non-permit spot right in front and little traffic down this street. We didn’t get to sit on the front porch, but I’d imagine it’s worth taking a sit and enjoying to morning sun with coffee. The property management company was amazing and really provides a concierge level of service. I definitely will rent this place again.

As a group of 4 adults, we stayed for 5 nights. The cottage had a great location, was close to so many points of interest, and was well-appointed. The pool was delightful! The only thing worth noting for others is that the stairs to the upper sleeping area/loft were STEEP. The property was clean and tidy and had lots of perks (washer dryer, Bluetooth speaker, etc.) that made a difference in our stay. The staff with HKWVR were also very helpful, facilitating after hours check in for us and helping us find a wheelchair rental for a party member during our stay. We had a wonderful experience and would absolutely stay again!

It was easy & everything went smoothly. The home was very lovely and cute. Small but relaxing outside area with a small soaking pool. We had everything we needed. Downstairs bathroom nlis huge with large shower. Upstairs bathroom is small, shower requires people not to be very tall, fyi. We had 7 palmetto bugs on night one in the upstairs bathroom, but rental company sent someone to handle the next day and that got rid of them. They arranged bikes to be delivered which was great. It's a great location just a block and half from Hemingway House. Whitehead is a busy street but you wouldn't know itnfrom inside the cottage.. its well insulated. We had a lovely time.

Perfect space for a five-night family stay. Walking distance of all major attractions on the island. Rental company was easy to work with. Cocktail pool was a plus. Would note that the stairs to the upstairs area were a little steep but they are sturdy and safe - just may impact bedroom choice during your stay. Cottage is bright and welcoming. Overall it was a good experience. The house is cute and very close to Duval, the beach and really anything you would like to do in KW. The beds are comfortable and amenities adequate. It was nice to have our own pool and washer and dryer! The steps going up stairs are very steep and if you have any mobility issues, upstairs would be a challenge to get to. It would have been nice to have a little coffee in the cabinet and few bottles of water in the fridge considering the price of the unit but all in all, if you are looking for a private escape, this is a nice place.

A buddy and I planned a trip to celebrate our wives’ 50th birthday. We rented Potters Cottage from HKWVR for our stay in Key West. Best move we could have made. Both wives were so happy and the husbands are calling this a Big Win. To a person, everyone that we interacted with at Historic Key West was so friendly and helpful, and most importantly, they joined our mission to make sure the ladies had a great time. The concierge services were top notch and helped with reservations and advice. 10 out of 10.

Overall it was great. Fantastic house in a great location - close enough to everything but far enough to be quiet. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The pool needed a good vacuum but it was the fall so leaves are to be expected. But the bottom was not as clean as it could be. Just needed a vacuum and a sweep of the pool deck

Great location near shops, restaurants, and nightlife. The Duval loop stop right next to the cottage makes destinations out of walking distance easily accessible. The house itself had everything we needed and the pool was an amazing treat after a full day out and about. The two bedrooms and a small side room was plenty of room for my family of 5. We made great memories and we hope to be back soon!

Check in was super easy! Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The whole place was spotless and the beds were super comfortable. We used the pool A LOT. Perfect size! Also only one street over from Duval so we were in walking distance to everything. Loved everything about it!

Potter's Cottage is a nice, well kept property. The few downsides ...it was markedly smaller than depicted in pictures.
...the distance to the more popular areas of the island was a problem
...checking out and recycling was questionable since a list of recycleable items could not be found in the literature provided. We did not recycle anything but aluminum and plastic (Paper, glass, etc was not included).

Perfect location
Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us. It was everything we wanted and more. The location was excellent. We were so close to restaurants, shops, art galleries and activities that we didn’t even use our car after we arrived. The atmosphere & pool in the back was so nice and relaxing it was hard to leave. We also had a wonderful time “people watching” from the front porch where you also get a lovely view of the lighthouse. We absolutely loved everything about your home and Key West. The management company and it’s employees were top notch. So nice and helpful! Thank you for making our vacation better then we imagined. We look forward to staying here again very soon.

Potter’s Cottage is a beautiful property and was a perfect stay for our small family of 3. This was our first time traveling with our daughter (7 months old) and Historic Key West Rentals made us feel at home - they provided us with a pack n play and two sets of sheets for her bed. The extra room was the perfect place for a makeshift nursery and the fan provided plenty of white noise. The street is quieter than duval but still a lot happening and some noise from everyone enjoying themselves. Duval is only a few blocks away and there are tons of restaurants right on the same street. It was a lovely stay and I would highly recommend bc the property to anyone going to Key West.

Spring Break Get-Away
Great location and easy access to all the Key West sites. Very clean and comfortable for 2 adults and 2 kids. Property manager checked in on us via text throughout our stay. Parking was a small challenge - but that's a Key West challenge and not a property challenge. Great place and would highly recommend.
