Great spot and very comfortable accommodations. Only issue is how slick the concrete outside the door gets with even a dusting of snow. I took a HUGE spill walking to the door with my bags; suggest that property management puts salt down in addition to shoveling. Other than that, really enjoyed the stay. Thank you!

My daughter and stayed here and had a blast. It was all we needed. We spent most of our time out at the beach and on the water. The room was clean and the management was friendly and helpful, she took the time to welcome us and orient us to the area. There is a beautiful sand beach below, not to mention a spectacular view of the lake. Boat rentals downstairs and access to kayak/standup paddle boards which can be delivered. We will be back in the future. Very special trip. Thank you Tahoe Vista!

Description of the room is very true. Room is small but ok if you’re just looking for a quiet, relaxing place after a day of being out and about exploring Lake Tahoe. Checking in and out was a breeze. Never had any issues during our 5 days stay.

There is a small refrigerator in the room. The tub is the bathroom is a Jacuzzi but so it is great for a hot soothing soak after a day of hiking. There is also a great outdoor sitting area with umbrella and chaise lounge and chairs just outside the sliding doors and you have a peek-a-boo view of the lake from there. There is no air conditioning but there is a electric fan available. There is no control for the heat in the room; it is in the office next door. The parking lot is shared with the valet parking for adjacent Boat House Restaurant. There are units above the room. It can be a bit noisy if you happen to have other guests with heavy footsteps above you. Overall, I was satisfied with the hotel room. My travelling companion was disappointed by lack of A/C and the noise from the people above us.

Tahoe Vista Inn was perfect for us! We stayed in their single room (#8) and it was just like a hotel room! Their other rentals are much bigger and have kitchens in them. The place is right on the water and was easy access to the beach.

I liked sitting on the patio to read and relax without people walking by or invading your space. Limitation was access to shower-tub. Very high side to get over and into tub and partner with physical limitation had trouble getting in and out of shower.

Unit #5 has so much room for an inn and the views from outside the building are amazing. The room is outdated and the shower has dark brown tile and has a strange slant. Don't reserve if you plan on spending the entire time showering. Otherwise, the bed was comfortable and the place was really clean. I would definitely stay here again.

Not too small and the amenities were perfect. When you are in Tahoe you tend to be out more than you are in, so our lodging was perfect! We will be back again and again!
