What an amazing stay!! This property is a perfect home away from home. Armin and Vernice were so welcoming and the bests hosts we have encountered in all our vrbo stays. Truly wonderful people. The property is beautiful, super clean, and in a great location. Our family of 4 which includes a 15 and 17 year old loved our stay. The private pool was relaxing and beautiful. We enjoyed spending time outside laying out and in our own private oasis. The house is gated which is nice because it felt very secure. The two rooms worked perfect for us. The kids had their own beds and we had our own bedroom. The house is really pretty and has everything you need. It's also very very clean. We like to cook so my husband enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen. And the location doesn't get much better. You can walk to Cable Beach which we did at sunrise and sunsets since its a quick 5 min walk. We enjoyed one of our days on the beach as well. Beautiful water and beach with a cute pier. The Sandals resort is right there so you also have options for excursions they offer on the beach. There are many dining options including Starbucks and a grocery store, all walkable which were very handy. We also walked to the Baha-Mar resort one of the days. We got day passes to the waterpark. It was about a 10-12 min easy walk. I noticed a bus very close to the property but didn't look into where it went. Armin and Vernice were there if you needed anything and were super kind, good people. It's great to have them especially in another country you are not familiar with. Vernice helped us get a last min taxi to the airport after ours didn't show up. Mr Cunningham showed up quickly and was equally as kind and helpful. Armin was kind enough to bring us delicious treats from his bakery (Original Swiss Sweet Shop) which is a few mins away. They were so good!! A must have!! All and all a wonderful stay. We hope to be back and enjoy this property again!! It was absolutely perfect!!

We stayed one week with our family of five (children aged 9-14). The property was spotless, functional and secure. The outside pool area is beautiful, spacious and private and is a big bonus. Armin and Vernice are very nice and easy to reach for any questions. Although it is possible to reach Cable beach easily and restaurants and grocery store are nearby, we recommend renting a car to explore other beaches such as Cabbage beach on Paradise Island, or Jaw's beach. The property is centrally located on the island. Overall an excellent rental and very much recommended.

Very nice and comfortable accomodation in a quiet area. With supermarket and restaurans on walking distance. Vernice and Armin are very kind hosts and have a very good sense to ensure privacy but are available in case of any need for support.

We stayed at Armin and Vernice’s wonderful house between Christmas and New Year’s. It was my husband and I and our two teenagers. The house was very clean and has all the amenities you would need. It was walking distance to the beach, some good restaurants in the town, and the Baha Mar resort where we spent a day at the water park and ate in some of the restaurants. Pool is beautiful and although cold I still enjoyed. Vernice was extremely responsive to any questions and even took us on a little sightseeing tour of the island forts. Really went above and beyond for us. We had lots of travel woes trying to get there and a few days of rain but was a win-win in the end as we all had a great time!

Well maintained, comfortable apartment, and desired location. Cable Beach, restaurants, grocery shopping, and the Original Swiss Pastry shop are all within a few blocks from the apartment. Hosts Armin and Vernice were most helpful during our two week stay. I would definitely recommend staying there. Thanks for the wonderful pastries!!

We stayed in this home for a week while on vacation with our college-age kids. There was plenty of room for our family of six and the location was perfect, with several restaurants within walking distance. The nearby beach was beautiful and there was also a grocery store close by. Having our own pool was the best! The property hosts made our stay comfortable and easy to check in and out. Armin even brought us some delicious treats from their bakery. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a great time. Our hosts were practically invisible despite actually living next to the property. We hardly ever saw them, although that’s not surprising as they run the best cake shop and bakery on the island. The property is comfortable and needs for nothing. Enjoyed the privacy and pool. The property was lovely with its own pool and two bedrooms. Lots of amenities in the villa, it was like home from home. The owners were lovely and stay onsite so you can contact them if you do have any problems, which we didn’t. They were super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this villa.

Wow, where to begin? It was about 2 years ago, right prior to COVID that I had booked my kids and I a week at Armin's property. Unfortunately I had to cancel shortly before and Armin was gracious enough to fully refund my stay, he never had to do this! Right then, I knew that once things started to settle that I would eventually book another stay here and I am so glad that I did. My two kids, ages 15 and 18 stayed here for just under a week and the entire experience was better than I could have imagined. First, Armin is just a great host, super helpful, attentive and responsive. When you are out of your country, this sort of friendship is important, and I really appreciated that about our stay. The property is really nice, we had our own pool for the week which was so nice to start my morning with a cup of coffee. Even more, within just a few minute walk of the house is access to his great bakery, coffee, a market for groceries, restaurants and the most beautiful white sand, turquoise water beach. All around, our trip was just perfect. Armin, the house and amenities are just wonderful. And only a 10 minute taxi to/from the airport(which Armin helped me to schedule). Armin, we will be back, and to all reading this, you wont be disappointed!

We so enjoyed Armin and Vernice's home! It had all the amenities needed with comfortable beds, AC which we really did not need, a fully equipped kitchen and the benefit of wonderful hosts! Loved getting to know them and some quiet time by the pool. We highly recommend their apartment for a short or long term stay! :-) p.s. Their desserts are amazing!

Our family was looking for a nice home near Cable Beach in a safe area and found this gem. Armin and Vernice’s home was beyond our expectations. Armin was always quick to answer any questions or give any suggestions. Got to spend some time with Armin and talk to him and even gave us a ride back to airport at the end our stay. House is very secure, clean, and convenient. Nice updated home within a 5 min walk to Cable Beach. You can access Cable Beach near Sandals resort where the Cable Manor apartments are or in the other direction right next to papa johns and menchies yogurt. We enjoyed having our own pool, which our son enjoyed very much. Their house is a quick walk to the grocery store, Starbucks, and some restaurants. You can catch the Jitney bus right across the street on Bay Street. Make sure you take Bus 10 which will take you along Bay Street all the way downtown. Goodman Bay is a short bus ride that has a nice public beach we enjoyed. I highly recommend staying with Armin and Vernice and hope we can come back to visit with them again. Great vacation!!

We stayed for 8 nights with our family of 6. It is a very nice house which is perfect for families. Master bedroom, double bedroom and a sleeping sofa fitted us and our 4 kids. The kitchen is roomy and well equipped. Garden was perfect for us to get back to after a day on the beach, so we could chill out while the kids played on in the swimming pool (with salt water!). The side entrance gives total privacy. Not that that was necessary, because Armin and Vernice are friendly hosts who make you feel very welcome. We would recommend this place to any family.

We got no help from the Airlines (American), but we called Vernice and she and Armin not only came and picked us and our luggage up from the airport, but they helped us located a last minute place to stay for the next two days until we could get a flight out. They went so above and beyond on so many things, I am so happy we chose their rental. We could not have asked for a better place to stay or better people to rent from. The morning we were headed back to the airport Vernice again helped us out, drove us to the airport and made sure we got out ok. Thank you Vernice and Armin, you guys are the best!

Clean, comfortable and quiet place. True to the photos. Armin and Vernice were very hospitable, knowledgeable about the area and quick to respond to any questions.

We have only wonderful things to say about our visit to this lovely property. Hosts Vernice and Armin are charming and delightful people. They made sure we were comfortable at all times while ensuring our complete privacy. The home is very comfortable and well appointed with all amenities. Television and internet service is top notch. A dip in the private pool was a fabulous way to cool down after long hot days at the beach. And it was truly luxurious to lounge poolside in the sun with a drink in complete seclusion. The Cable Beach location couldn't be better. It is within easy walking distance to a nearby stretch of shops and restaurants including grocery and liquor stores. The island's main bus route is a few minutes walk away. We took the bus for day trips into town and to three different beaches. (For a taste of something different, take the bus west to "the caves" for some exploring, then hit the local beach immediately opposite.) All in all, our Bahamas experience at Vernice and Armin's terrific spot exceeded our expectations. Five stars!

First impressions as you pull up to a very well maintained and inviting property. Vernice and Armin are very welcoming and are very accommodating to all of your families needs from answering any questions to giving directions or just simply enjoying a warm chat. This is our families 2nd time with Vernice and Armin and it's like visiting long distance friends. The house is beautiful with a bohemian style and ample space for a family.I might mention that on last evening of each visit they end our stay with scrumptious pastries from there own bakery that are just to die for and a bottle of wine. Our family will definitely be returning in the future.

We spent an amazing week in paradise! We traveled with our three teenaged sons and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The location was amazing and the house had everything we needed and more. Easy 5 minutes walk to beautiful beaches and all amenities such as grocery store, pharmacies etc. If we wanted to venture any further away, the bus was very close and easy to catch. The area felt very safe and very quiet. Vernice and Armin were very accomadating and always willing to help out. They even brought us wine and delicious treats from their pastry shop and we spent a very enjoyable evening getting to know them. I would definitely recommend this vacation rental to friends and family and would most certainly come back!

We had the joy of staying 7 days at this place and we loved it! Kids loved the pool and we took the bus to Saunders Beach when we needed some beach time. Busses are really easy to use. The house was clean and had all we needed and the friendly hosts gave us all the help we needed. We would recommend this place anytime!

Staying at this Cable Beach property was just about as perfect as it can get! (two couples) The pictures show this spot exactly how it is. This place is close to everything...several beaches, restaurants, bakery, bank, post office, grocery stores, buses, Baha Mar(casino). But having said that, it is very quiet in the evening and night and we felt very safe there both day and night. The house/apartment is immaculately clean, spacious and private . We thoroughly enjoyed the private pool, patio and huge lawn. Vernice and Armin are lovely hosts, they took care of every detail and seemed to be invisible unless we needed something. We had a relaxing last evening visiting with both of them on the patio. Such a lovely couple! Of course we didn't want to leave. We will go back again in the future. I definitely will recommend this spot to my friends and acquaintances.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this Cable beach apartment. The apartment is meticulously clean, very roomy and more than adequate for two adults and up to two kids (we had one teenager with us). It has a large kitchen, living and dining areas and two spacious bedrooms. It is an extension wing to a larger house with private entrance and separate exit to backyard and pool. The yard is very secure with locked gate. The location is on a quiet street yet convenient to several beaches, one smaller, walking distance behind Sandals resort and two large public beaches (Goodman bay park and Sandyport beach) are short drive away by bus (stop nearby, $1.25/pp one way, very frequent never waited more than 5 min). There are a number of good restaurants (our favorite was Social House) within 5 min walking distance as well as a supermarket, several fast food points and several liquor stores. Also within 10 min walk towards Bahamar casino is a one and only famous Daiquiri Shack, be sure to look it up and check it out! The owners Armin and Vernice were very attentive to all our needs, e.g. when we unexpectedly needed umbrellas as it was raining few days (we got unlucky with weather). And Vernice even took us around the island on excursion to several historic places and to Paradise island. Overall we felt very welcome and would highly recommend the place, we would definitely stay there again!

Great place and lovely renters. Armin and Vernice were amazing hosts. The house was perfect, which included a pool for our kids. 5 minute walk to a secluded beach or another 2 minutes to Cable Beach where the locals go. Vernice was kind to also give us a tour of the island one day and treated us to some of the Islands history. Several great restaurants within a 10 minute walk as well. Would definitely return ! We found our new favorite Holiday destination. You won't be disappointed going to Cable Beach and this home.

Host were amazingly helpfull, available, curteous, friendly and generous! House was clean, kitchen well equiped including washing up tools, pool and yard space was a wonderful bonus. Location was fantastic - 2 min walk to the bus stop, 5 min to beach or restaurants, 10 min walk to tge grocery store. Couldn't have asked for a better setup with a 4 and 14 year old...highly recommend!!

We had the pleasure of staying here from Feb 8-15. The location is perfect, steps away from the bus stop to get where you need to go. The beautiful beach is a short walk away. The house looks exactly like the pictures, it is everything we needed 2 adults 2 teenagers. The most amazing part of our vacation was meeting Vernice and Armin, they will be forever in our hearts and lives. I have truly never met more amazing, caring people in all of my travels. You will be extremely happy with your decision to stay here. Can't wait to go back

We first rented from Vernice and Armin in 2013 and dreamed of returning . In fact, we checked their availability schedule before finalizing our trip details so we would be able to enjoy their beautiful home. Their home is well-appointed with well maintained grounds and interior, I love the security they offer and the real furniture and utensils!! The kitchen is stocked with every conceivable need.Wine glasses. Pots and pans. Full-size refrigerator and stove. I love the pool and the extras included, like a washer and dryer and grill. The Wernil's live on the premises but you never see them unless you need them. They respond quickly to your needs and sincerely want you to relax and enjoy their lovely home and island. They have thought of practically every creature comfort. The only things missing are a private chef and live in maid service. Vernice and Armin, thank you again for providing your home as our vacation sanctuary and for making our Super-Bowl experience extra enjoyable! Can't wait to get back to Nassau.

This place is exactly as advertised if not better. We spent 8 January 2017 nights there with two young kids (4 and 6). Armin and Vernice live on the property as well but the two units are separated from each other (plus they work all day). We had our privacy to enjoy the pool, large yard and basketball net on the driveway but knew that Armin and Vernice were close by for any of the little questions we had about the area or the property. There are the basics there for the kids (sand toys, beach towels, pool noodles, basketball etc)...so we didn't have to bring much (just the way we like it!). As others have mentioned, it is a 5 minute (or less) walk to groceries, wine, beach and a couple of restaurants/fast food. Everything was clean and as expected. Note - the pools are obviously not heated in the Bahamas and we did have a couple of cold weather days that made the pool a little too chilly for even our Canadian kids. Frankly this place was great and just a nice little spot for a private getaway without too much fuss. Would definitely recommend for the younger families looking to keep it easy, close to the beach and have outside pool/yard space. Thanks Armin and Vernice for a wonderful vacation!

This rental was the highlight of our stay. The most important thing was we felt like we were at home, not in a hotel. Armin and Vernice are wonderful hosts and we would definitely return to this rental should we plan to visit Nassau again. The pool was nice and all of the accessories (noodles, snorkels etc.) were included right next to it. We had no problems getting to the grocery store as it was just minutes away and a simple walk. Beaches are right near by as well. I would recommend this over a resort anytime just because we have a family of 5 and our children were seldom bored here because there was plenty of room to run around the house, and we had wifi and TV, something where we think a resort would fall short. Thank you Armin and Vernice for being so helpful to us during our stay and thank you for the pastries...it was a nice parting gift and we were sad to leave. Highly recommend!
