Nuestro "Cabin Getaway" ha sido adquirido recientemente en noviembre de 2015 y será actualizado completamente y dentro y por fuera. Esta cabaña estilo rancho cuenta con 3 dormitorios y será equipada con camas tamaño queen, 1 1/2 baños y tendrá capacidad para 2 - 6 personas cómodamente. Un gran cuarto de baño, una cocina y un comedor totalmente equipada, sala de estar, un gran porche frontal, la espalda cubierta que se añade con bañera de hidromasaje, TV vía satélite y Wi-Fi, una parrilla de gas y un fogón.
Esta propiedad colinda con Wayne Forestal Nacional con una de 200 acres adicionales para explorar en la parte trasera de la propiedad. Es sólo 6 millas de Nelsonville de ya 10 millas de la zona de Logan y Hocking Hills. Lago Logan es perfecto para practicar senderismo y ciclismo de montaña y el hermoso lago Logan tiene un montón de pesca, canoa, kayak, picnic y natación. Nuestros huéspedes definitivamente va a querer visitar Histórico Distrito de las Artes de Nelsonville con Stuart Opera House, Rocky arranque del, ferrocarril escénico Valle de Hocking y visitar durante el festival de música de Nelsonville.

Loved the cute house and the set up, we never left all weekend, super relaxing! Only thing the hot tub lid needs replaced, hard to put back on and it was about to fall apart, and I didn't like that we had to go get the key and drop off early by 10, just minor details, just wasn't prepared for that. Overall I would still stay there again, we loved the place!!!! Thank you!!!!

The cabin was clean. The kitched was well stocked with cooking utensils and pots and pans. The rental agency was very nice and easy to deal with. However, the location of the property was odd and not what i expected. The drive from check in to the cabin was unexpected and brought us through a very broken down town. The hot tub worked well, but needs repairs as it is falling apart. The stairs in the front and back are also in need or repair. Lastly, there is a mouse issue in the cabin. All in all, the cabin was clean and served out needs. It is a bit of a drive away from hocking hills and there is not much in that town for amenities.

Exterior needs some work. Interior lovely, well laid out, lots of room in living room and kitchen dining area. We enjoyed our stay.

I truly enjoyed my stay at the "Getaway Cabin" Pictures are quite accurate, as this is a well kept property. Front porch seemed like it was made to be a morning coffe destination of choice. And the real show stopper here is the firepit!!! Awesome design that kept the fire rolling, the chairs and swing were very comfortable but make not the benches are not locked down so don't sit on the very end lol!! I will definitely use 1st choice cabin rentals again!! Only negative is the the cabin has neighbors on all sides, and the one neighbors dog will serenade you while you are out at the campfire after dark.

We got there and unpacked.Had a nice dinner, then decided to get in the hot tub. We wanted to most of all enjoy that.The hot tub barely worked.That was the focal point of the getaway.The back bedroom off the kitchen was too hard.Couldn't sleep.The house was nice and clean.

This was on of the best appointed places I've booked. More than adequate dishes, towels, even laundry detergent. A couple drawbacks, though. Please, PLEASE have the septic tanks emptied. The smell takes over the back yard. Also, the hot tub, while plenty warm needs to be updated. Only one jet worked, and its clearly past it's prime. Still, after all day on the trails, it was a welcome soak.

We rented this Cabin for our little girls weekend.
It was glorious, everything was easy.
The only thing is, the hottub had a terrible smell. The water was clear, but still smelt of sewage and left a smell on your skin. You don’t notice it until you’re actually in it. And the lights don’t work, and only one of the jets work in it.. other than that, everything was wonderful! I arrived late to check in due to my own mistake of not taking in the time change, and they made it really easy for me to be able to check in from the cabin. all in all, it was a great stay. Clean. Cosy.

We had a good stay, the inside of house was clean and everything was there that you would need. Beds were comfortable and enough pillows, nice clean towels for the bathrooms. It was nice with the washer and dryer so you dont have to pack so much. The outside was a little outdated and the hot tub was a little run down, which we didn't use. The firepit could be cleaned out (it was full of ashes) also you could smell sewage sitting outback( might need emptied)

We had an awesome time and stay at this cabin. The hot tub and spacious cabin proved to be just what we needed to relax and unwind. Located in the rolling hills of eastern Appalachian Ohio and also very near the college town of Athens, OH. Thanks for the great memories!

Property was clean. House is in a rural residential area right next to the road. Driveway in need of some maintenance. Hot tub was disappointing. Only one set of jets was working and the adjustments for the other jets were broken. Water level was low and lights didn't work. Also no privacy for the hot tub. The hot tub was one of the main reasons we booked this property. They did give me a $50 refund for this. Also had issues with one of the toilets clogging up. It would clog up, we plunged but still wouldn't go down. Let it sit overnight then it went down. Called about this but not sure if maintenance ever showed up as we were gone for the day.

The house had a smell of mildew when you first walk in. They have a dehumidifier that had not been emptied, this was emptied by myself. The bedrooms by the living room was nice the 3rd off the kitchen was hot the AC didn't seem to reach it at all. The website states a cabin, however the outside gives it the look of one, but it's not the feel. Property states many concerns inside a book by the owner of bees and poison ivy could be found. Why would this not be listed if you are allergic to a bee sting or prone to getting poison ivy. When dropping of the key the desk associates did not seem to care of any concerns we had. Another family came in at the same time and stated almost the same thing we spoke about. I would not recommend this cabin.

nice property, very clean, convenient, nice fire pit and swing close to town but far enough away to be peaceful. A bit close to the road but the road noise was only random and minimal (except the occasional loud truck).

Overall great set up other then the sewage smell by the hot tub. We couldn't stand to be in it. The master bathroom has mold in the ceiling above the shower which was questionable. Also not enough seating for six people.

Overall the property was very easy to find. Was more than we expected. Very clean. Lots of space. Nice hot tub. Fire pit area was great. Great front porch to sit and have morning coffee on! Just had some trouble with the tv remotes (probably our fault ;)
Overall stay was excellent and we cant wait to do it again!!

Excellent and relaxing stay
Just what we needed! The check-in was easy the cabin was very clean and well stocked. It was very comfortable and we really enjoyed the large backyard with the firepit and swing. Location was close to many attractions.

We came At really not a great time under a level 3 snow emergency but they did however get us in to a different cabin ours had no power was a smaller living room space for 4 people seating arrangements was not very comfortable to just sit and enjoy hot tub did not work maintenance came once got it to work it ran one cycle said they would be back out they never came view was amazing just wish it could have been a little bit more inviting and relaxing

The cabin was nice and comfortable. There was plenty of space for 6 adults. We were able to enjoy our time there getting away as a family.
The only slight down falls were the beds were a bit firm for our liking and be cautious in the drive way. I ended up in the ditch. But everything else was great.

It was nice. Great size kitchen and nice that had all kitchen cooking amenities so less for us to pack. Cabin smelled a little mildew/musty. Hot tub had very strong bleachy smell & most of the jets, radio, & lights didn't work. Firepit was great & had plenty of seating. Had plenty of linens & a few extra blankets which was great this time of year. Aside from the cabin smell & hot tub issues had a great time with my family.
