The condo was decorated in an old Florida/palm tree decor with lots of nick-nacks. The appliances seemed new and up scale. No problems. Nice stay.

Every time we stay at the property we find something new to do. The condo is always clean and well stocked. Cindy responds quickly to any questions or concerns. This year we went to Crystal River to swim with the manatees - I highly recommend it.

I totally enjoyed my stay. I was accompanied by my dearest friend and we were totally comfortable. We enjoyed the local restaurants and listening to the music. The condo was exceptional and met all our needs. I am looking forward to my next visit.

The condo is exactly as described in the pictures and is very clean. The taller chairs on the balcony were greatly appreciated as it allowed a better view over the balcony wall to see the dolphins and manatees. We loved being on the balcony having coffee in the morning and a cocktail in the evening. The sunsets were beautiful. There is also a nature trail which we enjoyed walking.
Cindy sent check in instructions well in advance which was very helpful. She even included driving directions from the Interstate. She was very easy to communicate with responded very quickly.

The condo was perfect for our 10 day stay. The sunsets from the balcony were awesome! Nice secure and quiet location. Condo had plenty of room for an extra family member to visit for a few days. Loved watching all the wildlife including sting rays in the lagoon. The Inn on the Gulf, Sam Seltzers & Sam's Beach Bar where our favorite places to eat. Pool was never crowded and was heated comfortably. We would absolutely stay in this condo again. Thank you Jack & Cindy.

We have stayed in condos at this complex several times over the years. This complex is in a great and scenic location with beautiful views of the lagoon, Gulf and the complex itself. The pool and beach properties are well maintained. This specific condo we stayed in this year is beautifully decorated and well maintained/equipped. Cindy the owner was a pleasure to work with and she was attentive and quick to respond to any questions that we had before and during our month-long stay. Would highly recommend that you check out this property if you are planning a trip to Hudson and Gulf Island.

We were looking for rest and relaxation and that is exactly what we found at this condo. The views are breathtaking. The sunsets are beautiful. Cindy is so easy to work with. Hudson is such a friendly and welcoming community. I would highly recommend this condo. Already planning a return trip!

Our 37 night vacation at this condo was as advertised and more.
Check-in was easy and explained well to us beforehand.
We found the kitchen fully stocked and a generous amount of dishes, glasses and cutlery.
The beds were comfortable with nice linens - lots of towels with extra in the linen closet.
The condo was spacious with 2 bedrooms plus a den and 2 bathrooms, one of which had been newly renovated with a new roomy shower with glass doors.
We loved the large balcony that faced west with beautiful sunsets and regular dolphin and pelican sightings. The chairs were comfortable, a lounge would be a great addition.
The large salt water pool was at a comfortable temperature with lots of lounges and chairs and it was never crowded. We enjoyed the gated 24 hour security at the entrance as well as the underground parking spot provided with the condo.
The holiday was peaceful and relaxing - shopping was close by.
Everything was wonderful - we are very grateful to our gracious hosts and can’t wait for a return trip here.

Well-kept condo with lovely furnishings and gorgeous views of the Gulf and sunsets. Was a great and affordable central location for us to explore Tampa, Clearwater, and Sarasota. Owners were very responsive and nice!

Upon walking into the condo, we realized pictures did this place no justice. It was even more beautiful in person!! Very clean and spacious. We really enjoyed the view from the living room, master bedroom, and of course, the big balcony. Having coffee out on the balcony in the morning was just so serene. We enjoyed the pool, and a walk on the natural trail as well. Many great places to eat nearby too. We really enjoyed our stay, and your condo is stunning. Wonderful- hope to return in 2023!
This condo faces west-with beautiful views of the Gulf-perfect! It was bright, clean and spacious, plenty of storage and drawer space, fully equipped to settle in and relax- just as the Owners describe. Remember to bring beach/pool towels, we forgot and had to buy! We even had dedicated parking space in the garage.
The property, Gulf Island, is well maintained and neat. Elevators were being completely rebuilt during our stay. There is a nature trail along the lagoon, lots of wildlife, fishing and kayaking (bring your own)
Hudson beach area has a few restaurants/bars with great fresh seafood options and beach views-Inn on the Gulf and Sam's are our favorites. There's grocery stores nearby, Sam's club in Port Richey (best gas prices). It's easy to find whatever you think you need! We found a couple cute places for Breakfast/lunch close by- Ram's Family Restaurant and The Breakfast Club.
We played golf a few times, in between the gusty high winds- enjoyed Crescent Oaks the best. Stay away from SummerTree- just is not well maintained at all.
We also explored the area- south to Indian Rocks (Guppies for lunch) visited the beaches in Clearwater/St Pete, the downtown area of New Port Richey/Port Richey is cute- found a couple restaurants with fresh clams/grouper- the Crab Shack and the Nauti Oar worth the drive. Also explored north- the town of Ozello is about 70 minutes drive north on 19, then follow the winding road west about 9 miles, through bayous and seagrass, till you get to Peck's Old Port Cove- the absolute best and freshest soft shell crabs! We went twice with our guests! Also explored Homossassa Springs- ended up at Crump's Landing- great spot on the river- lots of activity and stuff to see and do! Don't forget about Tarpon Springs- the sponge docks and boardwalk area has great selection of restaurants and shops- Rusty Bellies is our favorite here.
***We have to say though that the Owners were great to work with- this was our first VRBO rental so I had lots of questions along the way. They always replied immediately. And during our stay we had a couple glitches, that had potential to negatively impact our stay. But the Owners handled each issue quickly and efficiently from far away. They gave us a generous gift card to a local restaurant, appreciating our help in getting the issues resolved. We enjoyed 2 delicious dinners and drinks at the Inn on the Gulf!

The gulf views are breathtaking and we watched dolphin in the lagoon from our deck. The complex is VERY quiet, and anyone we happened to have met was very friendly. Many are owners, and the rest are snowbird renters. I wouldn’t recommend this property if you have children. The complex isn’t designed for younger folk.
The kitchen is very well equipped. FYI - the coffee maker is a keurig. There are plenty of drawers and hangers in the bedrooms for clothes. There isn’t a tv in the 2nd bedroom, but that wasn’t important for us. The front living room was excellent for reading while others watched tv in the primary living room.
The weather was not cooperative most of our 15 days onsite, so we never enjoyed the pool. Be sure to bring your tennis or pickle ball racquets if it’s too cold for the pool.
We were able to explore Tarpon Springs a couple times. If the weather had been better we would’ve done kayaking and other outdoor activities nearby.
The property is surrounded by sidewalks so it’s easy to walk around. Plenty of restaurants, grocery stores, and retail are just minutes away in your car.
If you want R&R this is your place. Mission accomplished for us.

Relax, relax, relax
This condo is everything listed and more. Extremely clean, comfortable, quite (I slept like a baby) and everything needed for a wonderful vacation. The property overall was also very well maintained by the condo association. All pluses in my book. The heated pools were wonderful and the nature walk around the lagoon was beautiful, great for photo enthusiasts that like taking photos of local birds. The location is also very convenient to state parks, fishing, kayaking and near by hot spots like Homosassa Springs, Three Sister Springs, Crystal River, Clearwater Beach, Tarpon Springs and St. Pete. This is a great place to stay and the property managers are very nice and respond to messages very quickly if you have a question. This is a 5 star rental.

We had a great vacation here over Christmas. Always things to see while sitting on our balcony…dolphins, manatees swimming in the lagoon, boats coming in and out the gulf and many, many different birds. After noon it was always sunny by the heated pool which was perfect for our December stay.

The condo was exactly as presented online. We had some problems with the front doorknob. Cindy walked us thru getting the lockbox off over the phone so we could get in. We were still having issues with the knob sticking, but I messaged Cindy and someone was over right away to tighten it up and adjust, it was working great the rest of our stay.
My teenage son made friends with lots of lagoon creatures. You can snorkel in the lagoon if you have gear, but it is very shallow, lots of sea grasses, not much interest unless you just want to try out your new snorkel gear. ;)

Beautiful area!
We loved this condo and the area it was located in. We were able to sit on the balcony and watch dolphins, pelicans, skates, seagulls and various other kinds of wildlife. Aside from a regular tenant who was having their floors redone (which increased the noise factor to distraction at times), this was a very quiet condo. We'd definitely stay here again!

Wonderful Gulf Vacation Condo!
My whole experience was amazing. Cindy and Jack's condo was everything that you could wish for when you book a vacation rental.
When you walk through the door, you are greeted by an absolutely stunning view of the Gulf. Wow! I spent large amounts of time on the comfortable and spacious balcony just staring out at the water and the lovely lagoon. The sunsets were dreamy.
The condo was not only beautifully decorated but it was spotlessly clean and incredibly roomy. There was a ton of storage space which allowed you to put your stuff away and really feel settled in for your vacation. The kitchen was well stocked with glasses, dishes, cookware, utensils, serving pieces, appliances, etc. You can tell a lot of thought was put into making sure you have everything you needed to prepare meals.
The complex has a beautiful pool & pool deck, a gorgeous private nature trail, a small beach with Adirondack chairs, picnic tables and grills. Parking was so convenient, too.
Thank you to Cindy and Jack for welcoming me into their condo. They were an absolute pleasure to communicate with and I already look forward to renting from them again.

We had a wonderful time at this property! The condo was beautifully furnished with everything needed. The location is perfect. We got to see dolphins from the balcony, the sunset was beautiful and the fishing was excellent. We had a great time and look forward to another visit!
