Este Chalet de dos pisos es de madera roja sólida y se sienta en la Gran Bushkill arroyo y tiene los sonidos de vista y de agua que hacen que te levantas temprano; obtener su café y sentarse en la terraza superior, y simplemente disfrutar. I booked this mainly because of the reviews on cleanliness plus it was on the river that I like in Bushkill from past rentals.
Upon arrival, We were very upset on the non-cleanliness. We almost did not stay there due to the place was very dirty. I spent the first night cleaning the second floor especially the kitchen before I even brought my food in. I washed all pots-pans-dishes and wiped all surfaces thoroughly throughout the second floor. Wash all bedding and blankets. Cleaned inside and outside slider doors so I could see the beautiful surroundings.
My husband calmed me down during all this by building a fire down by the river with a glass of wine. I slowly relaxed and saw the beauty of why we rented this home.
The WiFi was not good. Once a day I would receive all my mail-text messages all at once. Then lose connection again.
There was no Hot tub as advertised.
I waited to express my concerns after we left to go home because I didn’t want to ruin anyones holiday.
Owner was extremely nice!!!! Refunded the cleaning fee. Explained the circumstances of his cleaning crew situation.
Overall I spent most of my time outside enjoying the surroundings which in turn was exactly what we both needed!! I enjoyed being with family.
I would like to go back because of the outside atmosphere yet it needs a deep clean.
I would’ve gave this review five stars if it had been clean. The river and privacy itself was perfect.

Property owner responded less than a minute
He was extremely helpful with every questions we had . We check out on Sunday but because the home was available on Monday , he offer us to check out on a later time . I think that was something every property owner should consider. Our family will definitely stay again .

This was a beautiful property. Clean, and had pretty much everything we need to cook a nice meal. The stream is great.

While a little dated, this was a great place to stay for a weekend of nearby competition. The big living room and the pool table downstairs provided plenty of room for our players to interact and watch the baseball playoffs. The stream behind the unit provided for some outdoor fun.

Loved the location and privacy of the rental. It did have a strong musty smell on first floor. Unfortunately, the house is dated and there are minor fixes and cleaning issues that need addressed. I feel rental is overpriced for what you get.

Spent the weekend at this property and had a great stay! The location is perfect and the view and sound of the creek is excellent. The house is comfortable and has everything needed to settle in quickly and start enjoying your vacation. The host was so helpful and communication was great. We hope to be back again.

The property was exactly as described and in such a gorgeous location. It was perfect for a week-long getaway There was plenty to do in the surrounding area and nights were spent by the fire listening to the creek. I hope to come back sometime.

We had a fantastic weekend! The location cannot be beat, it is right at the water so we played in the water, caught frogs, fished, grilled on the top deck and enjoyed the peace and sound of the water. The house is really great and the pictures just don't do it justice, it's such a cute place with so many personal touches for the guests.

This house was an amazing stay right on the Creek. Our host was in contact almost all the way through from our arrival to departure. Very, very clean with all the amenities we needed. I desparately want to book here again.

Me and my family love hiking, exploring, being near water. This cabin was great. The River / creek was beautiful, the area is beautiful. Some reviews say the cabin is old and it is but the bathrooms are beautiful, it has everything you need. We could have checked out late but we had to get going. Wish we could have stayed longer

Everything was ready and easily accessible. We wanted to relax and we did, quite well! If there was any negative I'd say just that the screen doors need replaced as it was a battle to open and close them. But everything else was spot on! We were thinking that a guest book for each visitor to sign would be fun also. We will definitely be booking this again!

It was a wonderful stay here with my family. My cell service (t-mobile) was bad but the WIFi was pretty good so no issue with staying connected. Kitchen was fully stocked with all the pots/pans, coffee makers, etc. Lots of towels and blankets to keep you warm at night. When it gets hot during the day, the A/C was amazing. Firewoods were provided, and Harris was very responsive and helpful in giving tips to the area. There’s a food town 10 mins away and price chopper supermarket 15 minutes away so pretty convenient to grab groceries. Definitely a wonderful house to stay in.

Everything was as shown on site. Owner was very responsive and even stopped by when we arrived to give us a quick run down of the chalet and fishing spots around town. Will be back next year for sure. Thanks!!

As long as you’re not looking for luxury accommodations this cabin in the woods makes for a great getaway weekend with family or friends. The river was the highlight of our time - we spent all Saturday afternoon enjoying adult beverages, listening to music and catching up in the water. We’d gladly do it again!
