Super home, so comfy and clean, kitchen was nicely stocked and I’ve never seen such nice lighting! All the details were appreciated. Gorgeous beach, and the view from the third floor was unsurpassed. A bit of a walk to the sand, but we had all the time in the world, who cares!

We stayed in September of 2016 for a family reunion. The house was clean and super well stocked with everything. Jo was easy to communicate with. We hope to return.

Wonderful property! Beautiful inside and out! Even a small front yard for the kids to play. Fully stocked with everything you may need. 2 washer and dryers made it so easy with children. Kitchen was top notch! the copalis general store is just a couple minutes north! Walk to the beach was very easy, well groomed trails and floating bridge! Saw lots of wildlife that the kids loved. Beach was very clean and secluded. Gorgeous views from the 3rd story! We will definitely keep this gem in our minds for the future!

It was nice to have all the extras if we needed things for the kids: pack and play, high chair, cups, bowls, silverware etc. They had plenty of towels, soup, extra blankets and sheets, Literally everything you could need in the kitchen. Bonus to have 2 washers and dryers since there was 8 people. The ocean views were great! The walk to the beach wasn't to bad with 2, 7 year Olds and a 3 year old. Lots of stairs! But it wasn't a problem. Thanks for the toys and stuff animals for the kids to play with. House was clean. The balconies were so nice to have for a relaxing quiet time and gazing at the wonderful views. Lots of parking too. Would definitely recommend this place

Woke up to the view of the ocean like a panoramic picture! Every floor was amazing. We could each have our own space with a bathroom and TV. Stocked kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms were a plus. The short walk to the beach was like a little hike for the kids, which they loved. We hope to go back again soon!

Perfect place for a private get away, very relaxing and also great for a family vacation! Views were gorgeous!

The House is a wonderful place to stay. It’s very well stocked and Jodie goes above and beyond to make things just right. The only thing I thought could be better is the lighting in the master bedroom. The views from the top floor master bedroom are spectacular. It’s all and more the I was expecting.

very nice and private location. We had the beach to ourselves every day. This was great for recovering from medical issues. My friends and family had plenty of room to really enjoy the property. Will definitely stay here again. 5 stars

The house was lovely, clean, well stocked, and just a short walk to the beach. The best example from the trip of the details to make sure guests are comfortable is the following. The four cousins went to the grocery store (all females with list in hand) to get what we needed for meals the following 4 days. We had a couple of meals that needed cumin, but the grocery store in Ocean Shores was out of cumin. Low and behold, We check at the house when we got back, and there was cumin in the pantry. We were stunned and the appreciative of the small details that make a stay not good but great. The house, the amenities in the house, the distance to the beach was perfect for our gathering, COVID or not. Thank you Jodie for a lovely stay.

This property was very well stocked for our family of five. The house was clean and the fact that each floor had its own bedroom, bathroom was perfect. The walk to the beach was fine but we were hoping we could see the ocean a bit closer. Very convenient to Ocean Shores and a small very well stocked store close by.

We rented this home to enjoy time with family and friends over Thanksgiving weekend, and our experience couldn't have been better. The owners are very responsive and a pleasure to work with. Just a few days before our rental started the owners easily accommodated our request to add extra days, and while we were there they immediately addressed my message about a minor glitch with a TV. The home is very well stocked, has everything you need for your stay, and there is plenty of room for a good size group. This made cooking and enjoying Thanksgiving dinner as easy and comfortable as it is at home,... likely because this is truly a home away from home. Our group of 3 adults, 3 teenagers and our beloved dog had plenty of room to be all together. And the views from the main floor and the 3rd floor are absolutely amazing!! Our only reservation at first was the distance to the beach, but we got over it very quickly as we realized that the walk to the beach was part of the experience of getting out, explore and enjoying a walk on the beach. As a bonus, Ocean Shores is just a short drive from the house so getting groceries, eating out, or even finding something different to do is not a problem. (We took the teenagers in the group to the arcade in Ocean Shores, and then we all decided to do a few rounds of mini golf.) This home was truly perfect for our family and friends, and it is definitely a property that we will return to.

I don't know what I can add that I haven't said in my previous comments. My family and I have been staying in this beautiful home since 2014. It's our home away from home, where we can relax, walk on the beach, put together puzzles as a family, admire the sunsets while in the presence of family. That never gets old. Each time we come here, Jo and Eric have done some type of upgrade, whether that is adding new furniture or electronics, or a new fence between the new home to the north. They care about their guests. The house is always clean, the instructions are clear, the kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans and utensils, lots of games or movies to watch. The cable was upgraded since the last time we were here (go Seahawks!). This is just a great place to stay, far enough from town that we don't feel crowded, close enough to town that we can easily take a 5 minute drive to Ocean Shores for dinner or shopping or bowling. Plenty of room to spread out with the 3 floors. We love it! Thanks Jo and Eric for such a beautiful home. We'll be back!

Excellent property located within an easy walk of the beach. Amazing views from the main and third floor. Has everything you’ll need in the house. We had a wonderful week for the second year in a row.

This house offered everything we were looking for. Walking distance to the beach, ocean views, plenty of space, dog and family friendly. We came for razor clamming and we all got our limits on the beach in front of the house. Well stocked kitchen and high end appliances. It felt like home away from home. We will be back!!!

The house was perfect for our family! We all had a great time. The owners were wonderful to work with. Our only reservation would be the distance to the beach. But it worked out anyway! Loved it!

I'm not a big review writer, but just have to say something about this wonderful house. We had seven of us staying in the house and there was more than enough room. The views out of the 2nd and 3rd floor windows are just amazing! Both have western-facing walls that are basically all windows, but all have blinds, so when the sun comes in you can keep it from getting too hot. The walk to the beach is very easy, with the bridge across the small river being the only challenge. However, it's over 4-feet wide, so no issues. My 75yo mother-in-law had no issues whatsoever, and she's pretty cautious about stuff like that. Due to being about 5 miles north of Ocean Shores, the beach is really quiet. In the week we spent on the beach we saw probably five cars. If you have small kids that's a blessing. If you like bike riding, as I do, the roads are quiet, too. The main traffic is on the road between Aberdeen/Hoquiam and Ocean Shores. Once you take the turn towards Copalis the traffic pretty much disappears. However, be aware that the highway is basically shoulderless, so put in the effort to make yourself visible. Also, due to traffic and lack of a shoulder, I'd definitely avoid WA109 between Hoquiam and Ocean shores on a bike. I did it once and it was a hair-raising experience. Most drivers were great, but the odd pickup and 5th-wheel combo blowing by only a couple of feet away was enough to make me swear off that road forever. There are plenty of beds, plenty of bedding. Only slight drawback is that the master bedroom upstairs doesn't have a door to close it off from the main level. Not a big deal as we all pretty much went to bed about the same time, but it does limit your privacy. House comes with fast wifi and satellite TV, both of which work well. All in all, this is a wonderful house that we hope to visit in years to come!
