This was our 2nd stay. The home was just as we remembered. It was clean, roomy and check in was a breeze. I love how Jorge and his wife are there to greet you in person. There is a pool and you are right on the beach. Its not the best beach however, your on the coast and in PR with many beautiful beaches near. I am looking forward to our next visit.

This was a very pleasant experience! Jorge was very helpful with the entire process and sent clear instructions on how to get there! The place is large and is not even 30 seconds from the beach and pool area! Just a short walk and you’re there! Once you exit the private gated community the plaza right next to you has everything you need from pizza, McDonald’s, Chinese food, clothing shopping and a supermarket! Definitely will be staying again. I also loved that the master had an additional sofa bed!! Great help when traveling with small children.

Immediately book this place! It was the perfect get away for my family of 5 and there was still so much room left. We were immediately greeted with cold water bottles, AC, and my dad even got a beer! The beach is just a short walk from the back porch and we were allowed to use the Embassy Suites beach as well (as beaches in PR are not private). It's centrally located which was great to be able to be a 30min drive from everything we wanted to see. I cannot wait to come back again and visit

Stayed 1 month (awesome discount fyi). The view of the waves, the ocean breeze, access to the beach steps away, pool nearby - wish we could stay longer. It was very quiet, being in the gated Dorado Del Mar neighborhood and the complex has its own gate.
We hardly used the whole space, 3 bd/4 bath is a lot! There was good AC in every bedroom plus the 1st floor (main living space). Had some typical critters and some very friendly cats.
We locked ourselves out once ( the sea breeze slammed the door!) and the owner called maintenance who got us back inside very quickly.
We are just so happy with our stay! Our family will be reminiscing for years.

Villas de Playa 1 is a gated condo complex inside a very large gated community. The condo is very spacious with 3 large bedrooms, each with their own, private bathrooms, plus another full bathroom on the main level. Each bedroom has its own A/C unit, which was nice. The condo itself needs some updating and a more thorough cleaning, but the location, only ~100 feet from a beach and the ocean is amazing. The beds were very firm and could use updating. The appliances were newer and worked well. The large lanai facing the ocean was very nice too. Having our own washer/dryer was a nice plus.
The owners are very responsive and own the unit next door. They supplied 6 beach towels, 4 chairs, a cooler and an umbrella. The complex has a large pool area which was barely used when we were there in January. We stayed 3 weeks. Puerto Rico has so many things to do and we really enjoyed our time there. Thanks Jorge!

Everything was wonderful! We arrived so late, past midnight, the guard was incredibly helpful in taking us directly to our unit. Upon entering, everything was clean and organized, beach towels and chairs, patio furniture. The very best part was having four full bathrooms and air conditioning in every room!!! Thank you Jorge! We will definitely recommend you!

Our group of 19 rented a total of 4 villas in Villas de Playas 1 and 2 and stayed for 7 nights. This villa was by far the best and nicest one of all! Perfect location with amazing ocean views from all floors, beds were comfortable, villa was clean, has a washer/dryer, has everything you could need for a fun day at the beach, and within a couple of feet from a usable/swimmable beach! The beach has a barrier("rompe olas"), which made it very fun to be in with younger children and not worry about waves crashing on the shore. With 4 full bathrooms (1 in each bedroom) we had no issues getting our group of 6 plus an infant ready in the mornings. There is plenty of parking and we were never more than a few feet from our pedestrian gate. The owner was SUPER responsive, attentive, and accommodating!

Family of 3: 2 adults 1 4yrs old.
Nice property, spacious, great working ACs and water heater. Ocean views from all the floors and direct access to the beach. Swimming pool also nice. Kitchen needs to be updated. Cabinets have this musty odor that takes over the first floor. Unit was clean and we could tell they sprayed for bugs before we got there by the dead roaches found on the first floor. No big deal for us since we understand from living in the Caribbean but another reason to change the cabinets.
Owner super responsive and accomodating. Great dealing with him.
Location was great with walk in access to beach. Easy to drive to grocery stores, restaurants and to the highway.

Exceeded expectations
This property was ,overall , the best place you could stay when compared to what we seen around there. It’s one of the few 3 level properties that have a covered deck on the top with master bedroom. When we first looked out of 3 rd level room, we felt like we didn’t want to go down. Every bedroom had it’s own bathroom. Plus 1 more bathroom on first level. The owners were friendly and answered any questions we had. Access to beach felt like it was steps away. Easy walking distance to multiple places to eat by beach. Definitely will stay here again if circumstances allow it .

Friends get away
This place was actually better than advertised. Clean, updated, 4 Full Baths beautiful view of the bay, awesome master suite with picturesque sunsets. The host was always available for quick questions. This place has Everything needed to enjoy Puerto Rico.

I was planning our family vacation and could not decide if I wanted the West Coast or East coast and came across this Northern center coast listing. Convenient location as we wanted to go to Rincon, Isabella and Toro Verde. My family loved the place. 4 bathrooms, the outside porch to grill or hangout, and the balcony of the master bedroom where we could see sunset set this place apart from other properties we have stayed at on the island. Would love to buy this place or a neighbor’s condo when I retire. Only negative were the blinds. I’m used to black out curtains so I usually woke up before my alarm clock. Hope to stay there again next time in Puerto Rico.

A month in Dorado
Jorge’s unit is the perfect location in a gated community within another gated community. We felt safe and enjoyed our stay with the beach as our backyard. The listing states that one bedroom has a queen bed, it actually has 2 twin beds in it. The pool area is nice, we only used it once due to covid and having to schedule.

Comfortable Family Getaway
This townhome is very well maintained and located within a gated area so families with children feel very safe letting them run around outside. It has a very nice sized pool and beach access on both ends of the property. The condo has amazing ocean views and three bedrooms with comfortable beds and super soft sheets. Plenty of towels and soap was also appreciated. Depending on the day you can open up the house and let the breeze blow through or close it up to use the AC units in each room. There are also beach toys and a couple chairs that was a nice touch. We stayed for three weeks and found the location great for our needs - close enough to San Juan to go for work daily, but far enough away that it was peaceful. All the residents are very nice too. Jorge and his wife were very gracious hosts and always responded quickly to any questions. We definitely plan to stay her again if we return. It’s a little piece of paradise.

Great loocation, beach front and great views
Confortable, safe and clean accommodations for your family and friends in an ocean front setting. My in-laws where visiting and stayed for a week in this beautiful ocean front apartment and all was excellent. The owner is a very accommodating gentleman whose property delivers everything it promises. I highly recommend this property. Having the beach right in front of you is always priceless and the view is very soothing.

Where do I start.. Mr. Rodriguez cares about his property and you can tell by the way it’s maintained. It’s literally in front of the beach. The house is spacious and absolutely beautiful! I look forward to returning.

Great Place!
The photos are exact. Jorge's place is roomy and has a great view. We spent lots of time on the "porch" with 8-10 people grilling and visiting. You can walk right out to the beach. The beach was beautiful but limited and a bit rocky. However, you can drive 5 minutes to a fantastic beach with lots of indoor/outdoor cantinas right on the ocean. You can't go wrong with this choice. A relatively quick drive to the airport (1/2 hour) and there's plenty of shops outside the compound, including Walgreen's and a super market.

Fabulous for families
Lots of room, great kitchen, wonderful views. Had hair dryers, washer/dryer, dishwasher, toaster, sunscreen, kindness, and warmth. Close to everything. Wonderful and happy visit!

Perfect Setting!
This property was idyllic. The townhouse is spacious, comfortable, and well supplied. It is located within steps of a perfectly adequate beach and close to the Embassy Suites with access to those offerings.
My husband and I went with our son and 2 grandchildren ages 6 and 9. It was their first trip to Puerto Rico to meet my family. We loved the proximity of Dorado to the San Juan metropolitan area. The house was a stone's throw to all kinds of stores including groceries, first aid, restaurants, and resources.
Jorge, the owner was always a phone call away. At the end we reported a couple of minor issues to which he expressed gratitude for informing him. He takes excellent care of his place.
Last but not least, Villas de Playa 1 is an ideal area and this house is tops on the list...the views, the proximity and access to the beach, and how the house is furnished and supplied will make your stay idyllic.

We LOVED it!!!
We loved everything about this place! The neighborhood and the neighbors were awesome. We loved being able to walk to restaurants and to the Rockefeller Nature Trail. We kept the large doors open on the first floor most of the time. I took some beautiful pictures of the sunset and even a beautiful rainbow over the ocean one of the days from the master bedroom deck. Jorge and Cristy met us when we arrived. The unit was clean and well stocked. We had no problems at all. We enjoyed the pool and the beach every day. We will definitely stay again!
