The home was lovely and quite beautifully decorated and well outfitted. We enjoyed cooking in the beautiful kitchen and found all the bedrooms to be quite comfortable.

The house was spacious, the pool delightful and there is every amenity you could possibly need. I highly recommend this property.

Stunningly beautiful property, tastefully decorated sitting in perhaps one of the best locations in the Hudson Valley. This rental felt like a home as soon as we walked in. Both the house and the property it sits on is quite spacious. Can't think of a better way to spend time with family than to spend time here. Juan was truly a gracious host, flexible and available in times of need. My highest recommendations !!

We had a fantastic experience, from the booking process to check in and all through our stay. Juan was responsive and great to communicate with and the house itself was spectacular. The views and location can’t be beat and the house was perfect for relaxing whether by the pool, on the porch, in the living room or in the kitchen while cooking. Every time we turned around we noticed another piece of art or little touch that added to the experience. Highly recommend and look forward to visiting again!

Juan's home was the perfect upstate getaway from my partner and puppy. The house itself is perfectly decorated, elegantly laid-out and has an incredible view of the Rip Van Winkle Bridge and Hudson River. It's a truly special property less than ten minutes from the town of Hudson - highly recommend!

This is a beautiful home on a breathtaking piece of land. It was such a pleasure to stay here, to enjoy the views from almost every room, cooking in that giant welcoming kitchen, sinking into that deep tub. Juan was a wonderful host and made the process smooth and welcoming. Look forward to returning again!

House is right by the water, and I can't even describe how great and tranquil the view of the Hudson river and RIP van Winkle bridge is from the lounge area is. Neighborhood is quiet, while not super far from all the shops and stores. House is very beautifully decorated, Very vibrant and eclectic while subtle and not imposing. Owner Juan is very responsive to all the questions we have. Will definitely go back!

Juan's home on the Hudson river is absolutely stunning. The renovation of the house is so well done, with spectacular views across the Hudson river and to Olana. The decor and furnishings are beautiful. We loved gathering for a meal along the hugest kitchen island I've ever seen. It is a quick drive into Hudson but it was hard for our group to tear ourselves away from the house. We hope to return one day!

Everyone in our group loved their stay in Catskill and that's in large part due to the beautiful house we stayed in! The home is wonderfully decorated, the rooms were comfortable and the kitchen is just perfect for cooking with friends and family. The recently finished pool is beautiful, and adds to the charm of the house. Although the water was a bit chilly for swimming, we did spend a good amount of time relaxing around it. Juan was awesome to work with and we are definitely planning on a return visit!

My brother and I rented the property for a long weekend to celebrate our parents' 50th anniversary in July 2019. The property was fantastic! Very comfortable, clean, conveniently located yet secluded, with amazing views. We had a great time. Juan was a great owner and extremely responsive. We were not previously familiar with this area and my wife and I are considering a return to so we spend more time ourselves.

Property: A++ 2-3 acre property above the Hudson River with amazing sunrise views, beautiful landscaping & surrounded by wooded area for privacy House: A- large house with full amenities & well laid out to accommodate family time OR quiet time. (Note: owner has decorated beautifally, so you have to mind you children) Area: A 5 minute hike down to the Hudson River, 10 minute drive to Hudson NY, 20 minute walk to Catskill Heights ... lots to do Owner was very easy to deal with & we had no issues whatsoever

This home is amazing, and literally right out of a magazine. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen is huge, and the living spaces are great for lounging around and talking. Exactly what the group I was with wanted for our weekend!

The house, views, and location were terrific. The living spaces were beautiful and spacious, and accurately reflected in the pics (and in some ways even better than pictured, if you can imagine!). Our group kept marveling at the various design details within the house. The manicured lawn/grounds plus river and bridge views were breathtaking. Just a short ride away from a brewery in Catskill and the cute town of Hudson. If you're looking to stay in the area and have a medium-sized group, this place is perfect. We looked at so many different houses online, and now after staying here for a few nights, we couldn't be happier with our choice. P.s., Juan is super accommodating and a lovely host.

This historic farmhouse has been perfectly restored and beautifully decorated. We were in town for the HITS horse show in Saugerties and looked forward to returning to this gorgeous house at the end of each day. It has the most incredible view of the Rip Van Winkle bridge and is close to the charming town of Hudson. We have stayed in some beautiful homes over the years, but this is our favorite!

This property was breathtaking and not just the view. The styling of every room was beautiful. The kitchen was amazing and the property had every comfort. The host was responsive and generous in the welcome to the property. I would return in a heartbeat.

The house is exactly as advertised; absolutely gorgeous, with a very scenic location and truly beautiful views of the river and surrounding hills. Juan is always easy to get in touch with, and is an exceptional host; the house is immaculately clean, and very well taken care of. I look forward to being back very soon!!

My husband, three adult children and I spent 6 days in this gorgeous home. It was a perfect vacation for us. The home itself is spectacular, comfortable, welcoming, and incredibly designed so that everyone was able to enjoy family space, a stunning and fully stocked kitchen, and wonderful outside spaces where we spent hours gazing at the views while spending special time together as a family. The house is situated so that it is an easy drive to Hudson where we found excellent restaurants and shops. We were also close to wonderful walking and biking trails. The surrounding area was wonderful, the ride from Brooklyn was easy, but what made this a family vacation that we will always treasure was this incredible home. We have done a great deal of traveling and can honestly say this home was one of the most remarkable, unique places we have ever stayed. We would love to return someday!

We came to Wildings on Hudson for a ladies weekend and were blown away at the gorgeous property. The house is even prettier in real life then in photos. The owner was very easy to deal with, and we are all looking for an opportunity to return. If you are looking for an extremely posh location, close to town, great for groups or family, I couldn't recommend Wildings on Hudson more.

The owners have taken great care to update this classic 1790's home. They maintained all of the character and authenticity while stewarding the home into the 21st century. Comfortable, well appointed with stunning views and lovely grounds to walk about. This was a perfect choice for me and my friends. We wanted a special place to stay for a birthday weekend that would be close proximity to great hiking and only a couple of hours away from NYC. Five stars all the way!

We spent amazing weekend in this beautiful house. We were impressed by interior, every detail were just right and make house looks very stylish and comfy. And of course the view!!! Just excellent!!

My husband and I recently stayed at this wonderful property that exceeded our expectations. We arrived through the iron gates and were immediately greeted by an expansive sloping lawn and natural stone patio that was the foreground to the beautifully restored house perched high on the grounds overlooking the Hudson River and the Rip Van Winkle bridge. Walking though the main entrance you see immediately through the kitchen, into the living room, and out to the natural vistas beyond. The house is something to be experienced with such a variety of different rooms adorned with artwork, sculptures, and various other treasures. The kitchen is spacious and allows formal/informal gatherings that can move easily into the dining area, the living room, and/or the family room. Upstairs are the majority of the bedrooms (one downstairs) and the master bedroom and bath is ideally situated looking out at the Hudson River valley. There is also a bonus art studio off of the entry vestibule where we played ping pong and enjoyed yet another patio looking out at the Bridge and River. The wildlife is abundant and we were daily in the presence of deer roaming the lawn area and woods never too worried that we were on the wrap around porch enjoying their movements and taking pictures. We enjoyed such a relaxing vacation waking up every morning to the beautiful views and exploring the regions antiquities, history museums, hiking areas, restaurants, and the many breweries/distilleries. We were planning our return before we even left!

We loved our stay. The house was comfortable and well appointed. It is secluded and private. We spent many hours on the porch overlooking the Hudson River. The property is close to the towns of Hudson and Catskill

I wish I had more days at this stunning house! There were four of us, and we had tons of space. The house could easily accommodate a larger family/friends gathering. The place is impeccably decorated, with amazing river views (pictures true to reality). There is direct river access by crossing the massive lawn (which was also a luxury for us). We had a great weekend shopping and exploring Hudson and, what I enjoyed the most: relaxing at the house, watching river life. If we had more time, I would’ve made full use of the kitchen which has the most beautiful island I’ve ever seen. Very easy to get to by train from NYC, but need a car to get around the area. Juan had all everything set up for us, and made it all too easy! Can’t wait to go back and sled down the rolling hill in the yard!
