Beautiful home. Stay was great. Temperature difficult to navigate. To few tv stations for us without tech no how.

My husband and I, along with our two adult children, stayed at this incredible guest house in October 2023. It's just as pictured, very well appointed (gas grill, w/d, hot tub, etc.), and extremely comfortable. The location is very convenient to Basalt, Carbondale, and Glenwood Springs. Our hosts were responsive, checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. There is AC on the main floor which you may or may not use, and there is radiant heat (pretty sure). The primary shower is huge and there is plenty of closet space to use as needed, in both rooms.
The views from the deck are to die for, especially during October when the leaves are still hanging on in the valley with their rich yellows. The roaring fork river flows right behind the house and we not only enjoyed fishing, we enjoyed falling asleep and waking to the white noise of the river flowing. Their hot tub sits so you can enjoy the view of the river. And star gazing at night is unbelievable!
We hope to enjoy this spot again in the future! 5 Stars!

This is an excellent property - just as listed. We own in the valley and needed a few nights while in town working with our builders. Everything was just as described and wonderful.

Wow! This place is absolutely stunning, just as advertised. The home is incredibly modern and gives off a cozy mountain skiing lodge vibe. My son and I visited in late summer, and we had an amazing time fly fishing just steps away from the Roaring Fork River. We're definitely planning to return the next time we're in the Aspen area.

Comfortable, well stocked and beautiful inside and out. Loved the two level patio overlooking the river.

House was great, all the finishes were nice. My wife appreciated the artwork in the home. It was refreshing to have good kitchen pots and pans as a family who cooks a lot of their own meals.

Excellent riverfront retreat in El Jebel/Carbondale. Minutes from several grocery stores, specialty shops & restaurants.
Very private and very well appointed. This place does not disappoint.

I can't say enough about how ideal this home is. The house is perfectly decorated, the view is breathtaking, and the hot tub and deck allow you to cook out and take in all the surrounding beauty. The location, on the Roaring Fork, allows for fly fishing right out of the back door, and it is a short drive to every amenity you could ask for. The hosts ensured we had everything we could ever need. My family and I can't wait to go back next summer!

We just got back from a 5 day 4 night stay at this cabin in Carbondale and we are already dying to go back! We were there for the winter x games in Aspen and instead of staying in Aspen we decided to try this place out and it was the best decision we could have made. It is so conveniently located right off the 82 and only 20 minutes from Aspen. This will be the place we stay if we are ever back in the area.
Jeff was very responsive and we didn’t have a single problem.

We had a great time. The house was beautiful and the views were amazing.
Nick and Patricia were great to deal with. They even went the extra mile to refer us to a place to get some clothes when one of our bags didn't make it onto the plane!

My wife and I just returned from three nights in this beautiful home, and absolutely loved it. We have stayed in a number of vacation rentals over the years, and this is among the very best.
It's super clean and very well maintained. The hot tub is great. The furniture is comfortable (not always the case at a vacation rental!). It's within minutes of groceries and truly great restaurants. And the view! We were lucky enough to be here for some amazing fall colors on the river. It is breathtaking.
I wish we had some more time to stay, but we definitely plan to return. Thank you Nick and Patricia!

The views of the Roaring Fork from the house and hot tub were breath taking. The fall colors were in all directions, truly gorgeous! Everything about the place was well thought out and well equipped. We didn’t want for anything but more time and maybe less rain! Carbondale is a great location! We spend days in the Redstone area, Aspen, Glenwood Canyon and Independence Pass, easily assisible. The hot tub was gorgeous and very welcoming after long hikes and days - lots of wildlife viewed from it!

This was one of the most relaxing trips my husband and I have ever taken. The house is PERFECT ! We enjoyed the pool table and the jacuzzi so much. The grounds were meticulously manicured just a beautiful place ! And you can feel like you are in the middle of no where but still be so close to everything you need. Oh and the wildlife ! Seeing the deer walk right past your front door was breathtaking. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in the Aspen/Carbondale area.

We loved our stay here and were so thankful that we could bring our dog. Being on the river was beautiful and peaceful yet so many things to do close by. Thank you for opening your guest cottage to us. We will be back!

Nick and Trish are wonderful hosts. The sound of the creek/stream is mesmerizing and the guesthouse was perfect for our needs. We highly recommend this rental if you are looking for a secluded getaway that is still minutes away from civilization! Also, If you don't like the crowds of the summer or ski season, October is the perfect month to book.

Very nice. Needs a tall "cocktail" table on upper deck. Huge bed but for me was way too soft.

The property is not far away from just about anything you might need or want, but it's isolated so you feel like you're removed from the rest of the world. It's a great getaway with an entertainment room/pool table, full kitchen, two bathrooms and a super comfy bed!

Nick and Patricia were excellent hosts and the property was way more beautiful inside and out than expected/pictured!! A great, private location with picturesque views! Only 30 minutes from downtown Aspen! A wonderful retreat for your puppies too..our little bulldogs had a great time on their first vacation! Would definitely recommend and plan to stay again!

This is a very comfortable country property right on the river which makes for a very peaceful view with the sounds of the Roaring Fork River running by. While it feels like you are really "away" from it all, the property is just a couple minutes away from Whole Foods, a movie theater, restaurants, shops and the like. I would highly recommend this property as a comfortable stay in Mid Valley.

You can't beat the location of this cabin! It's right by the river and you really feel like you are "away from it all" but you're so close to Carbondale, Basalt, and even Aspen is a short drive away. The owners checked on us several times to make sure we were happy. We would stay again!

My wife and I spent 6 weeks here this summer and loved every minute. The property is an angler's dream - walk out the door, down the riverbank stairs and fish all you want. Views up and down the river are amazing throughout the home. There is a very large lush yard, like a private park.
The location is super convenient to the entire valley - a few blocks from the 82 with no traffic sounds. In minutes you can be in Carbondale or El Jebel / Basalt. Many restaurants, 2 groceries and lots of other shopping within a mile. Ride your road or mountain bike out the door to great trails.
The guest house is great for a couple, even though we are used to a larger home. The upstairs / downstairs split makes it so you can have your space and not be in each other's way. Even with children you wouldn't be on top of each other. You'll tend to spend more time outdoors and less sitting inside.
The owners are wonderful friendly people who treat you like family. They are improving the amenities constantly - 2 new flat screen tv's, a refrigerator and washer/dryer were put in while we were there.
The kitchen is a tight fit but we did fine with it, even being used to a larger one at home. You'll find yourself out on the upstairs balcony with coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening, watching geese fly by and river guide's float through the rapid practically right below you.
Truly a special property. You will not want to leave.
