Probably one of the best places to stay for the location and price point. The unit was fully stocked with everything you need, plenty of linens. The kitchen and bathrooms are updated which was nice.

My son and his wife and two children stayed at this location, 2 blocks from my home. It is a lovely condo on the first floor with a beautiful oceanfront view. The condo had everything they needed and plenty of room for the rest of the family to make it our central location. We had as many as 8 adults and children there during the day for games, meals, and playing at the beach. It was exactly as advertised and was perfect for our family.

Everything was perfect ! Size of the condo was great, clean, awesome view from large 😀 balcony! Right on the beach, less than a mile to the pier in one direction and the boardwalk in the other! Perfect location!

This was our first stay at this particular place at Carolina Beach. I loved it. The place was nice and big and had everything that you would need. Plenty of towels and washcloths. We were also left with paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap in the bathroom and dish washing soap and soap for the dishwasher which we did not use. I just hand washed what we used. The walkway to get out on the beach was great. At the end of it there were two benches that you could sit on and just look at the ocean which I loved. It is not a crowded area and all the years I have been to CB I have never seen so many seashells as there were right where we stayed. The parking is not ideal but if you follow the directions of which spot is yours it works out fine. We rented golf carts and had a great time riding around on them. Did I mention location. Also the place has been updated and the furniture and all looks great. Everything you would want in a kitchen too. The only thing which I have seen others mention is the construction next door. Which started at 7:30 with music and sawing. Which the owner has no control over. But it looks like they are almost finished with the place because they were working on painting the outside. So hopefully that won’t last much longer. Janet was very responsive with any questions we had. Overall a great place to stay. Thank you Janet for allowing us to stay there. We had a great time.

It was great being right on the beach and it's only a mile from the boardwalk. House was very clean, lots of kitchen needs already there and available. Any questions i had the owner answered very quickly and made sure everything was taken care of. Would absolutely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay here and found the property to be as advertised. Communication with the owner was easy and she was quick to respond. The property is large with a really large front covered deck, which is shaded except for early morning. You don’t have much of a beach view because of the dunes, but still enjoyed the ocean views and sounds.Easy quick access to the beach!! The living room area was a good size. The sofa and chairs are dated but adequate for “ beach life”.The kitchen was large with all the essentials. The bedrooms were a good size and slept well. The balcony off the second king bedroom was very small, standing room only. There is construction next door but didn’t bother us. Having a washer/dryer is a bonus! Overall we were very pleased with the property and location. Beware of parking fees around the boardwalk!!!!

The condo was in a great location between shops and pier. It was easy access to the beach and had a nice front porch overlooking the water. The beds were comfortable and the condo was spacious. We had a few problems with the appliances but did let the owner know so hopefully those will be fixed for future renters.

This place would get five out of five except for two things out of the owner's control - the construction next door and the cost of parking. A previous review mentions the construction. When we stayed (April 3-9), construction noises started around 8:30. I never heard cursing and only heard the radio one time. Carolina Beach charges WAYYYYYY too much for parking. Wilmington only charges $1 per hour ... Carolina $5 per hour, and the app (on an Android) is hard to read and horrible to operate. Downtown (Britt's Donuts as a point of reference) is a 20 minute walk, so walking is do-able. The rental is AWESOME. Loads of space. The owner provides multiple beach chairs, sand toys, and other items for a great day at the beach. There are also board games and books available. In the kitchen, you will find everything except a rolling pin (younger son made ravioli ... he made do with a bottle for rolling out the dough). In short, I would recommend staying here. It is right ON the beach and a great location for lots of outings. And, yes, you DO need to stand in line for Britt's donuts and eat them while they are hot. Totally worth it.

Nice beachy decor. Loved outdoor furniture set on balcony. Beautiful morning sun to watch from balcony with cup of coffee. Very comfortable beds. Thank you for having 2 King, so often we travel as two couples and cannot find equal bedrooms for both couples. Ate at Soul Flavor and Salt Fish and they were excellent.

Lovely home in a great location! Parking is on the right side of the building- there was no sign, so take note before you get there. The instructions to get inside were slightly confusing and may need updating, kind of like an escape room, but we figured it out. ;) The place was clean and bright. Walking distance to numerous restaurants and shops. The beach was beautiful! It was only 60 steps from the steps at the gate to the sand (the pics made it look a lot further, but it's close!) and only about 15 more steps to our spot. The beach was narrow, but that just made it more private, bc we had very few neighbours. The only drawback was that we couldn't see the surf from the deck bc of the height of the dunes; you can see the ocean, though. A couple little tidbits- if you have a favourite beach chair, bring it. If you need more than three rolls of tp, bring that too. And, contact Janet if you have any issues with the dishwasher. She was the most responsive owner I've ever encountered! 5 stars! Thank you for a great getaway!
