Esta cabaña de 1920 hermosa situada en el río Yellowstone ha sido recientemente restaurado en la última escapada. Fantastic location for North Gate of Yellowstone. Literally, just a couple of blocks away. Tremendous about of Elk walking around town and even on the front porch of the property. Heard them talking one night and looked out the window and there was a large female just standing there. Next day, return from Yellowstone and there was a mom and calf nursing on the front porch. The Elk walk through Gardiner as if they are people. Everywhere.
For the property, it was as described and the only suggestion I can provide is to please update the deck furniture on both the front and back porch. Such great opportunities to sit and enjoy and the sound of the river, but the rockers were super easy to rock all the way backwards and we had to prop our feet under the railing to not fall backwards. The metal chairs and table were just not comfortable or relaxing. It is such an incredible space and with some comfy chairs, it would be AMAZING! Front porch, same/same. It would be a great spot to watch the many elk walking into town.
We would happily return and encourage anyone visiting Yellowstone to stay here.

We loved the Quimby cabin. It’s really close to everything in Gardiner. The Yellowstone north entrance was a 5 min drive and you could walk to take pictures in front of the Yellowstone sign. It did get a bit chilly at night and Jess responded quickly so we could get the heat adjusted. All in all, great place and it made our Yellowstone trip that much better!

Functional house for a family of four with a 9 and 12 year old. House has everything you need. Great location overlooking the Yellowstone river. Two blocks from the entry into Yellowstone, walking distance to most restaurants and shops. Spacious deck for drinking coffee while watching the sunrise over the mountains and river or for glasses of wine and dinner recounting the days activities.

This cabin had everything you could ever want and then more. The deck view was gorgeous!
Elk came out every evening to eat across the river and right next to the cabin.
The hosts were awesome and quick to answer any questions. Lovely place and time!

Our family of 4 loved staying here while visiting Yellowstone. The town is very cute, and even though the home is right in town, it is on a very quiet corner with the river right in the backyard. There was never any "town noise" at night, it was very serene and quiet. The home is beautiful with the most amazing views. The hosts were so kind and very responsive to questions. We had a great stay, would definitely stay again!

We had a lovely time at the Quimby Cottage and couldn't have asked for a better location to Yellowstone. Spotting wildlife was a big thing for us and the location offers excellent access to the Lamar valley within 45 minutes drive. The cottage itself is picturesque with views of the Yellowstone river and elks visiting us every evening! Overall, It felt like a home away from home!

This is easily the best place we've ever stayed. You absolutely feel like you live there. Never felt as welcomed as we did in gardiner. Everyone from the owners and neighbors to shop owners and cashiers made us feel so at home. The cabin has stunning views and feels like your on a private road. Walking distance to EVERYTHING. You will see elk! And the history is amazing. This cabin is more than a place to stay...its an experience!! We loved it. Thank you so much!!!

The Quimby Cabin is super close to the park, has an amazing view of the Yellowstone River, and offers all of the little touches that make your stay feel like home. The owners were so friendly and helpful. I can't say enough good things about the experience. We loved going to sleep at night listening to the sound of the river after a long day at the park. The kitchen is well stocked, but the cabin is also within a short walking distance of several restaurants and food trucks if you don't want to cook. We hope to be able to come back sometime and stay here again.

For those looking for a launching pad into Yellowstone, this is a fantastic spot to call home base. Picturesque location, clean, and we'll stocked. Single bathroom might make it a challenge for larger groups, but it's manageable. Owners were responsive for the little things we needed, and we'll look to this spot again for our next trip to Yellowstone.

This is the place to stay in Gardiner! It has everything you could want and the location is perfect. Walkable to places in town and 2 mins from the park entrance. Even better is the view from the deck right above the Yellowstone river! Inside, it is cozy and clean with every amenity you could need. We will definitely be back here!

Quimby Cabin had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and cozy. Beautiful deck overlooking Yellowstone River, good size living area and kitchen with two bedrooms. Very clean and well stocked for kitchen ease. Gardiner is a quaint little town and is right near the northern entrance into Yellowstone, so very convenient as well. Owners were easy to contact if needed.

The most amazing family “bucket list” trip that began with a charming little cabin stay that exuded the essences of Montana and the mountain life. It was everything we had hoped for and more. Take your pick of absolutely breath taking views from the back porch, the kitchen window or the view we woke up to every morning through the bay window in the master bedroom. The owners have really worked hard to make all the spaces count in the house giving it a very cosy and delightful space to stay in while visiting this beautiful town. Great appliances, comfortable couch and beds. Great proximity to north Yellowstone gate and Mammoth Hot Springs. We will definitely be staying here again.

The cabin is located just two streets over from the entrance to the park which made access about as good as it gets. Everything was clean, organized, and perfectly situated for our stay. The views out the back porch are unbeatable. The cabin itself was quaint, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our three day stay. Thanks so much to Jess for her hospitality - we will be back!

Glad we found this house. Home is less than a minute from Yellowstone. Located right in town so you can walk to dinner or to check out the town. The River view is amazing and and the history of the home was pretty cool. I’d definitely recommend staying here. Owner was easy to communicate with and on top of that it snowed one night and when we came out the sidewalk was shoveled as well as the area around the vehicle. Thought that was nice. 5 stars

What a gem! Whenever we are in the area this is where we will want to stay! All one level with outstanding view! Just a short walk to anything we would want; food, shopping, and parks. Communication with the owners was quick and easy, even providing a ramp for the one step up to the deck to ensure we had wheelchair access.

The back deck overlooking the river has a gas grill and the local market has a decent selection of meat. The house has a rustic feel and was even cooler in person. Jess and Shane are super friendly and helpful. They live in a separate cabin on the same property. But it is below the main house and has a separate gate so it still feels private. The proximity to Yellowstone (maybe a half mile?) and a plethora of outdoor activities make it a prime location. Would def recommend Gardiner and this property.

This is my fourth time staying in a VRBO in Gardiner. Location was great and communication with owners was excellent. There was plenty of room also. They said no A/C in the listing. This was my first time with no A/C and it was pretty miserable. If you like to sleep in cooler air then do not rent in the summer. Overall place is seeing some age compared to the other Gardiner rentals I have stayed in before, but other items mentioned above balanced it out.

What more can you say about a beautiful property in the perfect location? It felt like everything was at our fingertips. The Yellowstone River was right below our feet as we relaxed on the spacious deck. On the doorstep of the greatest national park in the world, we strolled down to the Roosevelt Arch, where we picnicked in an area just below it surrounded by grazing elk. All types of shops, restaurants, and food stands are right down the street from the cabin. Even though we had our itinerary set, Jess was prepared to offer suggestions for things to do and was very responsive to questions we had. My wife, son, and 81-year-old mother all agree this was easily one of our most satisfying vacations.

The north entrance gate to the park is walking distance. The town of Gardiner is absolutely wonderful, and we loved the few shops and restaurants. But the cabin, was absolutely beautiful and amazing in every possible way. They kept the cabin nicely stocked with courtesy items that I was not expecting. The view of the Yellowstone River was intoxicating, and I spent a long time on that deck with my cup of coffee in the mornings and evenings. The decorating was lovely, and the beds were super comfy after a long day of exploring. There were only 3 in our party but there was so much space. My youngest son and I played the piano every night and had a great time with each other. I was so pleased with this experience and cannot say enough kind things about Jess and the great care she gave us while we were there.

This was the cutest little cabin in the heart of Gardiner, MT. I would love to live here! The history of the cabin was neat to read about. The views out the windows every day were so great, despite it being windy & cold. Such a perfect size cabin for our family. It was clean, had everything we needed and the owners were responsive when/if we had a question. Clearly much care has been put into this little place. We'd love to come back and visit again!
