Este establecimiento de lujo se encuentra en el borde del océano, lanzó en una colina en una gran pradera privada. Rodeado de 7 acres y vistas panorámicas al océano. Situado en el corazón de la unidad escénica 'Killick Costa' se puede observar a las ballenas y los icebergs pasan sólo interrumpido por un flujo constante de aves marinas migratorias. A poca distancia de la playa de la ensenada de Oriente, donde el rollo 'Caplin' primero de cada año con las ballenas en el remolque. También un destino común para las hogueras en la playa durante la noche. Las rutas de senderismo de la 'Ruta de la Costa Este y de las pintorescas rutas en bicicleta son en su puerta. Además, las rutas de conducción escénicas y todo lo que San Juan tiene para ofrecer son sólo una corta distancia.

The house was perfect in every way. The ocean front view is priceless. The kids had so much fun making smores at the new fire pit. The new game room was enjoyed by all. I highly recommend this house to anyone looking to stay in the area.

This truly is an amazing home….comfortable, clean, very homely. Lots of space, we were 7 but certainly not crowded. Beautifully furnished throughout. The views were amazing. We had a mixed bag re weather, but everyday was beautiful. We managed to walk to the beach and do one of the trails. Had a great evening at the fire pit . St John’s and the environs had much to offer, great restaurants. A great first trip to Newfoundland….memories made. We will be back. Thanks to ‘The Duffy family ‘ for making the process very easy…

This was an amazing house to gather with my extended family. The views are amazing!,, the house was extremely clear and well stocked with utensils ,dishes, linens and towels. Thank you for helping to make our family gathering so special. We highly recommend this house . There was a whale straight out from the house as we wer3 arriving … my grandkids were so thrilled.

OMG! This was the nicest VRBO we have ever stayed at. The house, the property and the views are all stunning! This was our home away from home for 5 nights for us, our adult kids and spouses and 2 grandkids. There was more than enough room and we wanted for nothing. We spotted whales in the bay directly across from the house our very first morning and several times thereafter. This was a vacation and location that won't be forgotten. Thank you for welcoming us into your home.

Our family’s journey from Southern California to this 5-star Middle Cove vacation rental exceeded all expectations. The breathtaking ocean view, complete with visible whales from the balcony, captivated us instantly.
The home was impeccably furnished and well-stocked, making our stay incredibly comfortable. The in-house sauna was a treat, used daily for added relaxation.
The owners were responsive and welcoming, ensuring our needs were always met. Evenings were spent creating memories around the campfire and joining locals at Middle Cove Beach to catch Caplin fish—a unique and enjoyable experience.
In short, this was the best family vacation we’ve ever taken, with a perfect blend of luxury and adventure. We wholeheartedly recommend this beautiful rental in Newfoundland.

This rental home is perfect. The house is both spacious and cozy, extremely clean, and well appointed with comfortable beds, a great kitchen, a living room with a fireplace, and even a sauna. The view is spectacular. The location is convenient for walks along ocean headlands and evenings at St John’s pubs. My family had to drag me away.

Clean and comfortable modern home. Beautiful setting by the ocean but fyi, the area can be quite windy. The Property Manager was easy to communicate with and was very responsive when we had a few issues. There were problems with the internet and the functioning of the indoor gas fireplace when we arrived. So my only suggestion is that the functioning of everything in the home be checked before each booking. We stayed for 10 days and everything was resolved promptly and professionally in the first couple of days. This is a very nice well kept home in a beautiful unique setting. If you have a rental car, it is really not far from the city if St. John’s and lots of conveniences. We would definitely stay here. again.

This property has everything you need! The view is great and you can get to everywhere you need to go. Lots of trails near by and St John's is only 10 min away. Highly recommend staying here!

My family and I had an amazing visit! The home was beautiful with amazing views. The house was perfectly decorated, spotless and the beds super comfy! The fire pit was an extra bonus! Location was great with just a short drive to many sights. Would definitely recommend!!

Stunning views
Despite Hurricane Larry we had a wonderful time at this home. Location is perfect for both hiking and getting into St. John’s. The owner and property management team were very attentive and made us very comfortable during and after the storm.

It was easy to view and book houses on VRBO. The house was as it was described. We all (7) had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed the views, the beach and exploring Newfoundland.

We are very grateful to have had the opportunity to stay at this beautiful house! The view alone makes it worth it, but the interior design and comfortable bed makes one feel instantly at home. The house was impeccably clean – thank you Sheila for your attention to every detail! We were so fortunate to stay when the capelin were rolling on Middle Cove Beach because we were able to watch humpback whales and dolphins right from the living room! Our favorite East Coast Trail was Cobbler’s Path, where we also saw whales and dolphins and met many wonderful, friendly Newfoundlanders. It was a short five minute drive to get to this path, and there are other trails and a popular overlook literally right at your doorstep. The house is close to shopping, restaurants, and MUN gardens/trails, The Rooms in St. Johns (which also has an excellent café), Cape Spear, and Signal Hill as well. Witless Bay for whale watches and trails was only a 40 min drive and the Irish Loop to St. Vincent’s Beach was 90 min. We loved it here and hope we can stay again very soon!

Hated to leave
Spectacular: the views, the decor, the provisions. We stayed for four nights of seven on a week long family vacation and we wished we’d stay there the whole time. In rain, in fog, in cold, in sun (we had all), it was great.

anniversary trip
My husband and I came for a cool getaway, some fabulous hiking, and to see puffins! We accomplished all three and more. The House was immaculate, kitchen perfect to cook, restaurants even better to not. Beds comfortable, showers and such very nice. There is a firepit in the backyard, and wild blueberries! The shopping on Torbay Road (7 min away) had everything you'll ever need (from WalMart, Starbucks, Marshalls, to whaterver.) the hiking paths are close and spectacular. The road in front of the house is so quiet you won't notice it, and the views are amazing. I recommend the hiking path around St Frances point-beyond words for the view alone. And must go to CORA's for breakfast (but go hungry).
