We travel a lot and this was our favorite accommodation, remarkably inexpensive for what it offers. From the beginning of the booking process to checking out the host, Rick, was kind, receptive, respectful, and prompt. The unit was furnished and decorated tastefully with local themes and had the personal touch. With the positioning of the windows and patio screen door, and multiple fans (we only used one), the inside was always cool and fresh. The back patio looked onto a wondrous green garden with a walk through it, and sunrise appears through the trees. No noise from the neighbours nor the condo complex. Everything was thought of and included in equipment and supplies. The kitchen had complete eating sets and extras such as Tupperware and many condiments. There were two different types of cofeemakers, a large fridge, a toaster, a tea kettle, a pristine large electric skillet/pot, and a toaster oven/air fryer which made this a full kitchen except for a range/oven (not needed) which would have added a $100/day to the price. A clean easy-to-use barbecue at the pool area added to the cooking experience. We appreciated many contact numbers in case we had questions or difficulties. It is in the best location for things to do on Kauai and beach equipment is included. Princeville is a great place. Rick clearly cares for the satisfaction of his guests. I have no doubt being a host is a passion for him, not just a business. I cannot recommend the unit, and Rick, enough.

Nice apartment in princeville.

Pro- great location near Princeville village and Park. Nice proximity to Anini Beach trail. Very efficient but missed having a full kitchen. Made 3/4 kitchen work but unable to boil veg or rice. I would say this was a fair value and would return

I don’t need anything fancy and this was the perfect place to sleep and felt really safe and such a plus to have parking! Would rent again.

The layout of the studio was well planned, and I enjoyed the deck and the very functional kitchenette area.. I also enjoyed being on the upper end of Princeville, where it was an easy walk to the Princeville center with the shops and restaurants.

Cute, quaint spot in Princeville. Love the quiet location and the walking path behind to the beach. It’s a real butt kicker hill, but so worth it! The unit was clean, had everything my bestie and I needed from beach chairs, to a fridge, microwave, cooler. Wonderful time. Thank you!

This place was perfect for my stay in Princeville. Great location, clean and had most of the amenities that I needed. Price was a little over what I expected with fees but the comfortable interior made up for it.

This was a great place to stay on our trip to Kauai. Beautiful area to stay in. The location was great for our travel plans, as we spent most of the time exploring the North shore. It is very close to the Princeville shopping center and a short drive to Hanalei. It also wasn’t too far from the South shore, where we made a couple day trips. The beach chairs and umbrella were a really nice touch and came in handy for our beach days. I didn’t realize that this place did not have air conditioning until we arrived, but we didn’t really need it. There were several fans that were helpful and the windows could be cracked open for air flow, along with a screen door to the back porch. Check-in and check-out was easy as well. We hope to visit Kauai again someday and would definitely consider staying here again.

Im overall very happy with this property. Things were clean and there are a good variety of kitchen appliances to be able to make food at the unit, which i loved since i was trying to stay within a budget. The location is great too, i really liked being within walking distance of a park, foodland, and anini beach. You can hear footstepts from the upstairs unit, but it wasnt bothersome. I would definitely recomment this property to anyone looking to save some money and stay in a studio style toom.

This was a clean small place to stay. It was perfect for my wife and I. Good location for access to things as wanted to do, and Princeville shopping center right up the road. The only downside was no stove, only microwave and toaster oven, and directly behind the unit, where the deck is, is a major construction site that we noisy during the day. But fortunately we were out all day most days, and construction activity ceased around 5:00pm. Overall a great economical place to stay and I recommend it.

Convenient to Princeville, Hanalei, and Anini Beach. Enjoyed the unit.

Place was nice and clean. Quiet for the most part (upstairs neighbors were a bit heavy footed). Everything was provided that was needed for a comfortable stay - only thing I would suggest would be a single hot plate for cooking. I would recommend for a single person or a couple.

Very quiet and convenient location for hiking and snorkeling. Rick is very responsive, and also prepared us plenty of snorkeling and beach gears to enhance our experience.

Property was very clean with everything you would want for a beach vacation. Loved that Princeville Center was a 5 minute walk/2 minute car ride. It has great restaurants, shops and a well stocked grocery store with a good deli and baked goods. Would highly recommend staying here!

Had a really great stay at this property. Everything from check in, to amenities, to the kitchenette was greatly appreciated. Kauai is fairly expensive and it was great to make meals at home for myself. Also really appreciated the beach towels and chairs! Would highly recommend this property for solo travellers or couples. Thanks again Rick, can’t wait to visit again.

The property was close to the beach and had all the necessary beach accessories (chairs, umbrella, snorkelling kit and beach towels). The property itself was clean and perfect size for 2 people. Would recommend. The owner was also very friendly. A good addition to the kitchen would be a small induction plaque but otherwise everything was there.

Rick's place was exactly as advertised and perfect for a lone traveler or couple looking for some peace, rest, and location close to Hanalei and amenities in Princeville. The property is beautiful landscaped with tropical Hawaii flora, easy parking, great pool, and friendly locals that reside in the area (like Joy and Shelby). Super close to walking path, small beaches, and food options. Condo was stocked with all the kitchen amenities to cook and prepare meals and pack lunches for the beach. In addition, beach necessities such as cooler and chairs were an awesome addition and I used them everyday. Bed was amazingly conformable after a long day surfing and strolling the beach. All in all, super experience and would be delighted to stay in Rick's place again.

Perfect place to stay while visiting friends on Anini Beach.

Very comfortable studio. Nice size refrigerator and plenty of utensils. Nice comfortable little lanai. Nice pool area with a Weber Spirit LP gas grill. Rick was very accommodating and respond almost immediately to our messages. All the beach stuff we needed. Chairs, umbrella, beach towels and a little cooler. Lots of walking paths. Very quiet.
