Okay so yes the place is a little cheaper than a lot of places in mammoth and it’s nice that it is just 15 min drive to main lodge I’ll give it that but that’s probably all I liked about it. Now I never really leave bad reviews but this was just frustrating. Right off the bat I texted the owner if we could check in early and got no response. We wanted to go in early on Friday because we got to mammoth earlier than needed to get a little time on the mountain. We ended up just checking at the set time at 4. When we tried to make food almost every dish we grabbed was dirty so we had to wash it before we could even make anything to eat. Then it was cold and we wanted to start the fire and I texted her once again to ask where the fire starters were because in her directions on starting a fire she said to use them. Again no response. We went to the store to get themand then found the fire starters in the bathroom under the sink which makes no sense because there’s cabinet right next to the fire place thing where it could be stored. Then the next problem was the wifi was really slow and then it stopped working all together and kept saying the password we had was wrong. I texted the owner once again and got no response. We packed up and left on Sunday before 11am because that’s when the stated check out time was. And at 1:05pm on Sunday she finally responded to my massages from the past 3 days. I informed her it was too late and recommended she responds sooner to her guests next time

The cabin was very well stocked with everything we needed, bed was super comfy, towels were soft. Location couldnt have been better and the price was great. All in all, we loved it and cant wait to stay there again!

Simple yet with more than everything you need! Really user friendly. A fantastic area that offers so much, and a lovely place to base from. The ethical question of short term rentals taking away places to live of course remains but if you are reading this then you, like me, have made the choice to participate in that. Perhaps it is a bit of a Tragedy of the Commons thing... I will fly, hey it is just me, I will rent, hey it is just me, this is great (and it is! for the renter and landlord). That's a larger question of zoning, a structural issue, he writes, passing the buck, wondering if VRBO will publish this. In short, a great place, if this is what you want to do, and I did, and do. Yet.

My boys and I had a wonderful time in Mammoth in large part due to the great location of this rental. Reasonably priced, cozy, steps away from the nearest shuttle stop, and even closer to the outdoor spa located right in front, you won’t get much better value than this. Angela was also great and communicative, which only adds to the overall good experience!

Could not ask for better conditions so we were lucky!!! Good location to shuttle to mountain and Village. Suited our purposes fine so no complaints. Property is dated and needs updating but was fine for what we wanted.

The location is great for easy access to the best restaurants and shopping in Mammoth. Easy drive or shuttle to the mountain. The place is very clean, nicely decorated, and we’ll-stocked with firewood. Only a few short steps to the hot tub. Great place and very friendly and helpful host!

Nice place, easy to get to... a little dark, not much natural light but overall it was good stay. Should be listed as a loft though? Not one bedroom but an extra large loft with it's own bathroom.

Nice place, easy to get to... a little dark, not much natural light but overall it was good stay. Should be listed as a loft though? Not one bedroom but an extra large loft with it's own bathroom.

The property was clean, gets good light, and felt very cozy. The kitchen was also very well stocked and cooking was a pleasure. The location is great, just a short walk from supermarkets, a cafe, equipment stores, gyms, and the library. The green line bus also stops immediately outside the complex every 15 minutes and takes you to eagle lodge in 5 minutes. And did I mention the complex jacuzzi??

We walking into the home and the first thing you see is how homely it is. We loved the wood burning stove! It kept us warm all night! Everything about this place was wonderful and very easy to find. The shuttle was right around the corner and they come every 15 minutes to take you to the mountain's resort.

Angela provided us with a wonderful little condo perfect for our stay. If you're looking for a place to stay for a weekend getaway or short vacay, I'd recommend here! We loved it.

The unit was like stepping back into the late 70s or early 80's. Burnt orange carpet, Formica counter tops, linoleum floors and all. The unit is extremely dark - the only window is the door to the deck. Be prepared to climb steps. It's a high second floor unit with another set of step to get to the master bed. In general this place felt like a bit of a rundown dive with dark fixtures, dark wood and generally dingy fixtures.
The location is nice but nothing special. The walls are thin, I could clearly hear the neighbors conversations and dogs barking.
Overall a dated unit in need of updating. Probably appropriate for the cost but I know there are much better accommodations for very little more money.
The TV (down stairs) remote didn't work and I had to replace the batteries to get it to operate.
Look elswwhere there are better options.
