It was nice. Pretty busy one day with the mowing, gutter sales person there, septic company there and cleaning crew. The one day we invited friends over that we hadn’t seen in over two years.

We loved the location and peaceful atmosphere. It was perfectly located at the end of Potts Point a few steps away from the Potts Preserve. Woderful for "beachcombing". Beth's daughter was gracious and helpful with regard to the area and facilities. It's only a short drive to Brunswick or Bath, restaurants,etc. We definitely would go back again. I have only one suggestion. A more comfortable chair in the living area would be a definite improvement.

Spacious and quirky basement cottage apt with large windows overlooking casco bay.. enjoyed a complete nervous system reset gazing out of the windows and enjoying the view from the Adirondack chairs. Cool natural rock inside the dining area, a boat window in the bathroom. Beautiful Harpswell area. Incredibly helpful hosts. We will be back.

Right on the coat, great place to relax, walk along the rock formations on the shore, sunsets right outside our window. Not too far from the Main State Theater, Bailey Island, grocery market, and the cutest ice cream place just up the road. The host sent email with specific driving instructions ahead of time. only thing is ..take drinking water

This is a unique property with a beautiful location on Casco Bay. The "cabin" (a dark wood-paneled apartment, reminiscent of a ship/captain's quarters) looks directly out on the water, where you can watch dramatic tides, birds, and the occasional seal. The hosts who run this property are very kind, and gracious but do not overwhelm and leave you to enjoy their wonderful property. We will definitely be returning again!

I and my dogs had a perfect stay. My definition of perfect: friendly but unobtrusive host and other guests; sea, sky, rocks and kelp; 25 minute drive from the closest town; great walking nearby; Maine’s timeless natural beauty.
This is definitely the place to go if you enjoy your own company. It’s not the place to go if you need the things the modern world supplies at your fingertips.
The ‘cottage’ is charming with spectacular views of the water. Ceilings are low! Shower has good pressure for a great shower – but an even lower ceiling so could be claustrophobic for some! Kitchen is small and well appointed and had everything I needed. Propane fireplace provides heat on chilly days. Welcome Book has tons of information of interest.

The host were so kind and welcoming! We arrived and felt as though we were in a dream. It was so cozy and had everything we could’ve needed! The host even let me borrow a proverbial cup of sugar. The views and walks were beautiful. We cannot wait to go back!!

This was the most relaxing stay to date. The view was outstanding and the accommodations were very comfortable. Sabrina made us feel more than welcome. We didn't have plans for a return trip, but after this stay we just might come back.

Bayberry Ledge is a sweet cozy little apartment. Living area with large window facing the bay and lovely sunsets. Gracious and supportive hosts. Minutes from Potts Point Preserve. We are already planning our next visit!

More space than I expected. Beautiful views and location. The tidal different between low and high was more than I've ever seen and was fun to constantly observe. Wild apples on much of the properties in the area which I gathered a few to make vinegar. Locals are very serious about the 5mph speed limit - accidentally went 7 mph and got yelled at by a neighbor. Private entrance to unit. You could hear footsteps above but it wasn't too bad - I was more concerned with them hearing me as I am a night owl. Dog friendly - my gsd enjoyed swimming and running on the coast.

You couldn’t ask for a more beautiful setting! Swimming, walking, nearby nature hikes and lobster rolls galore! Super nice hosts on premises. Very rustic but you won’t want to leave!

Comfortable and cozy
We stayed Sunday through Wednesday and it was nice and quiet, very cozy, and very comfortable. We enjoyed watching the sun set over the ocean and watching many boats go by in the distance. Great walk around Potts Point Preserve. Would definitely recommend.

The unit is not a standalone cottage but is attached to the main house. There were 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, and a dining area. The inside is like you are in the hull of a ship especially when you look out and see the ocean right there in front of you in full view!
The location is at the end of a point so the privacy is supreme and the only real noise you hear is of the lobster boats out on the bay. It is close enough to a couple of fairly small stores (Uncle Pete's and Vegetable Corner). There is the Dolphin Restaurant and Erica's Seafood within a short drive and Pam's ice cream (opens early June for the summer) is also a short drive. If you need a larger food store Hannaford's is in Brunswick about 20-30 minutes away.
We're already booked Bayberry Cottage for the Fall for our anniversary. Couldn't be happier with our week-long stay!

We loved Bayberry Cottage in Harpswell, Maine. The views were magnificent and the accommodations were excellent! Sabrina was right there if we needed anything for the cottage. Before I turned around she was there with what we needed.

Great, quiet, private property
We had a great stay here in Harpswell. Beth and Margaret were great hosts. A few have commented in the reviews about the foot steps from people in the home above, but this is no worse than you might get from a hotel.
I would have no problem staying here again. Beautiful property. So fun being so close to the ocean in such a beautiful, quiet, private neighborhood.

Great getaway
If you are looking for a quiet getaway from all the stressors of life this is the place to come. Amazing water view in a peaceful neighborhood away from the city. Owner on site answers any questions and provides information of the area.

In that regard, be advised that it really IS 25 minutes to the nearest supermarket, so it does pay to plan ahead, unless multiple excursions into Brunswick is a part of your plan. We had limited (but friendly) interaction with out hosts, so this was an experience of delightful solitude. We reached the rental in the dark and so had a different experience with the host's directions than the usual one, I suspect. I suggested a couple of improvements that would have saved us some time and confusion, almost literally within sight of out destination (which, of course, I could not see). We'd love to return.
