This was our second white Christmas staying at the Merry Muhlbach Lodge. Needless to say, it is our families favorite get together location for the holidays. The house is beautiful and very spacious. Once again we found the lodge very clean and well appointed. The kitchen has everything you need for large family meals and entertaining. We took advantage of the snow and went sledding and skiing in the local areas. Very convenient with young children. We look forward to many more trips to Truckee. Thanks again!

We spent time at both the private beach/marina as "guests" of the Tahoe-Donner community, as well as at the Donner Memorial State Park. Both were so much fun, with watersports for rent and shoreline for playing with the kids. The house was the perfect place to relax after a fun day outside. Cooking and entertaining in the kitchen was relaxing, as the property had state of the art facilities and supplies to truly be a home away from home. The beds and linens were of high quality as well. We are planning to stay here again in the winter if it is available!
