We had a fabulous time at this beautiful home. And we were thrilled to have such a sunny weekend in June, as you never know in the PNW. It was quiet, off the main road, we felt worlds away from it all. We will definitely stay here again!

We booked a stay just for immediate family, and we were very pleasantly surprised at how wonderful Sky's Landing is! If you want a waterfront location on the Hood Canal, you cannot get more waterfront than this. Seriously, at high tide, the water is like 5 or 10 feet off the deck. Really easy access for kayaking, really easy access for anything in the water. The property is nice and clean and has plenty of places to sit and watch the canal. We even had rain for part of our trip, and it was amazing to just sit and watch it fall on the water. We will definitely be back next summer.

Great waterfront with A/C which kept the rental cool on hot days. Beautiful property with a large deck.
The rental is on a private road so you don't hear the traffic noise. It's a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Every room has a waterfront view including the big soaking tub with a shower head. There is some noticeable wear and tear in the house, but nothing to spoil your stay. It's still a beautiful rental.
The sofabed mattress is firm and wide the way I like it. Love the kitchen with everything we need to cook. The only complaint is the knives are dull. It took me double the time to cut and slice veggies and meat. We tried sharpening the knives to no avail.
The 3 kayaks, water guns and a new hot tub kept my kids busy and away from their devices. The kids saw a seal while kayaking.
There are lots of oysters at low tide to enjoy. The neighbor with the shared driveway is very friendly to us which made our stay even better.

We had not stayed on the North shore of the canal before so did not know what to expect. The house was perfect for our family of 4. No bank waterfront was very cool. We had a fire on the beach every night and roasted oysters picked right off the beach.
The one car in the parking lot is no joke. The Neighbor will let you know immediately if you have two cars down, even if you are just unloading. After the initial incident, he was very pleasant though. There is plenty of parking in the driveway across the street so it was not an issue at all.
We will definitely be back.

Great beach weekend for our daughters 5th birthday! The beach fire pit and hot tub were the highlights! Relaxing and comfy! We will book again for sure!

Sky's Landing is a lovely property. And you cannot get any closer to the water as high tide comes nearly all the way to the outdoor fire pit. While we didn't partake, oysters look like they can be harvested right from the property.
Nichole was very responsive and didn't hesitate or complain about answering all of my questions. And when we arrived to no wifi (and no cellular service), she was prompt in helping us get everything resolved.
Due to the smoke and being a little under the weather, we couldn't do everything the property had to offer, but my partner did take some time to kayak. So relaxing! And while I had some limitations, I still was sad to leave. It was so peaceful. And fun to watch all the boats and activity on the water all day and night.
A couple thoughts for those wanting to book this beautiful property:
* There aren't a lot of windows that can be opened due to holes in some of the screens.
* Parking is directly beside the house near the dock. If you see the dock in front, and a sidewalk to the side, you're in the right spot. Backing into the spot is recommended as it'll make it easier to leave.
* The heating can be finicky. We were there during the change of seasons and needed the heating and the cooling. Cooling worked great but heating took some effort, We ended up just using a lot of blankets.
If you're looking for a nice change of pace with some great amenities and a caring host, this place is for you. Hopefully you will see the Great Blue Heron that became our friend as well.

Relaxing
Had a great time here. The location really cannot be beat. There is a decent private beach in the front "yard" by day and at night, it looks like the house is floating on the water.
Pro tip: don't forget to turn on the hot tub (like we did!) When you arrive.
Would def stay here again.

Perfect Getaway!
My husband and I spent a few days at this amazing house on Hood Canal and it was so relaxing! Everything was perfect...exactly as advertised, although the pictures do not do it justice. Enjoyed the kayaks, jacuzzi, fire pit and cooking in the well equipped kitchen. We will be back for sure! Loved this place!

Hood Canal Paddlers' Paradise
This was our second stay at Sky's Landing and although we were less lucky with the weather this time, we loved our week long getaway filled with hot tub time, oyster shucking right off the beach, grilling, paddle boarding and kayaking on the mirror like Hood Canal waters. So peaceful! Enjoyed visits from resident otters and seals just off the beach, we love this place!

Great Getaway from City Life
We had our Honeymoon on the other side of the water where this listing was located. It felt nice to revisit the area and just have everything we needed. Great view, great area, hosts were helpful. Only tiny issue was the shower was a little off (reverse nozzle), but thats not a big deal! Had a wonderful time!

Beautiful weekend on the Hood Canal
The beach house was a great spot for a relaxing weekend getaway. A very scenic view on the water with plenty of things to keep the kids entertained. They had fun finding oysters, which we grilled and enjoyed on the patio, and kayaking. The beds were very comfortable. The only thing that could have been better was the water pressure in the shower.

The Sky Really Does Land at Sky's Landing
What a stay. It was a dreamy view! A comfortable place to be. Waking up to a gorgeous view of the sunrise was amazing. Sitting on the boat out on the Puget Sound where the sky looks so close you can almost touch it was breathtaking. Relaxing in the hot tub while looking at the birds, trees, and water was calming. We loved it.

This is a quiet and beautiful home right on Hood Canal! Watch the sunrise and sunset from the deck! Home has everything you need and a comfy king size bed. Owners are great to work with!

This is our third time at Sky's Landing. The location is so wonderful! You can roast marshmallows at the fire, take the kayaks out, relax in the hot tub or just enjoy the view and watching the birds. Fresh oysters from the beach are a bonus too. The kids love it and so do we!

The property has an unfettered view of the Hood canal and it's own beach, A large deck, flat lawn, ample outdoor seating to enjoy the beautiful natural setting. The house is well off the main state highway so no road noise. Access from the parking space to the house is nearly flat so getting luggage in is convenient. A hedge around the lawn side of the yard provides good privacy.
We loved watching the wildlife on the canal, sea otters and herons hang out on the floating docks just offshore and we gathered fresh oysters at low tide one day and pan fried them for dinner. The Hood Canal presents the best combination of a "lakefront" and ocean saltwater experience and this home allows one to take full advantage of it whether you want recreation or relaxation.
The property is about 8-10 minutes from Belfair, groceries and other stores/services.
One of the best public golf complexes in the US, Gold Mountain, is about 20 minutes away and we highly recommend it if you're a golfer.
Overall this property is a stellar spot for a vacation and we enjoyed it thoroughly.

The property has an unfettered view of the Hood canal and it's own beach, A large deck, flat lawn, ample outdoor seating to enjoy the beautiful natural setting. The house is well off the main state highway so no road noise. Access from the parking space to the house is nearly flat so getting luggage in is convenient. Family fun!
Our family of four had an excellent time exploring the beach right outside the back door - swimming, throwing rocks, and looking for hermit crabs. We also loved watching all the wildlife. The house itself was very clean and comfortable with everything we needed to enjoy our stay.

We rented this place for a girls weekend, and could not have been more pleased! It was GORGEOUS. Beautiful setting right on the canal (pictures don’t do it justice); lovely outdoor space with what appeared to be new decking and a very comfortable patio set, as well as a number of Adirondack chairs, and the beach, comprised of oyster and clam shells, is right in front of the house. The house was set up great for three friends, the kitchen had everything you could think of, including a well-stocked spice cabinet. (Often, many rentals don’t have essentials like sugar, flour, spices, etc. This house was stocked! We really appreciated that.).
The beds were super comfortable. We spent an afternoon paddling the kayaks right off the deck, and enjoyed the large hot tub.
Would highly recommend this place!

Sky’s Landing was the perfect place for our family getaway. We stayed 3 nights and the house was set up so comfortably that we never had reason to leave during our stay! The first night was stormy and we figured we would bundle up and enjoy watching the waves, after all we had hot chocolate, comfy beds, Netflix and board games...however we woke the next day to a beautiful sunrise and the weather stayed quite nice all weekend! We cooked fabulous meals in a well-outfitted kitchen, barbecued fresh oysters right on the beach, soaked in the hot tub, ate s’mores and watched seals swimming nearby. I highly recommend this home for a family or small group!
