Bob was a great host and very accommodating to our needs. The cottage has a really nice location on the lake and great fishing right off the dock!

Great visit

The location and house setup was perfect for a group of aging snowmobilers. There are two TV/sleeping areas with the kitchen in between. This allowed the early to bed guys to be separated from the late night crowd. The large garage easily held 7 sleds with room for more. The side lot was even plowed so we had a perfect spot for a 27ft trailer to be backed in. Had a minor surprise when arriving, made the owner aware and got immediate response and resolution options. That kind of service alone makes we want to rent this place again.

Perfect location for snowmobile trails with garage for storing sleds at night. House was clean and has plenty of room for a large group. Bob the owner is the best and I would put him at the top of my list.

The house was very clean and comfortable it had everything we needed. The owner communicated very well and he was available if we needed anything. We enjoyed our stay.

I’m sure it’s great in the summer but we absolutely love this area in the winter. We booked for a long weekend of snowmobiling snow skiing and more! My kids spent hours and hours playing on the snow covered ice right out the back door! Ditch the tablets and YouTube and enjoy what winter in Gaylord has to offer. Bring a snowmobile or 5 plenty of room for parking and tinkering. Super close proximity to trail 7 a giant ice playground few steps away! Perfect winter retreat!

The location on Otsego Lake is wonderful; beautiful sunsets. The cabin sleeps enough for our large group of guys to have a getaway weekend. Kitchen was good for our needs. Bedrooms were clean and beds were good.

We had a great time at Bob's home! The weather was chilly, so we took advantage of the large indoor space, enjoyed the gorgeous lake view, and played the many games available. We went to the Gaylord Sportsplex for ice skating and then downtown for a nice lunch. The next day we did Avalanche Bay and dinner in Boyne City. The reason for the trip was to see the tree color change and the trees up north did not disappoint. Bob was great with communication and I would say here again.

Beautiful, clean, spacious, quiet. This was an amazing, and relaxing getaway. Booked this place for my brother's bachelor party - lowkey with bonfires every night and just chilling with the guys. Downtown Gaylord is only 10 minutes away, so one night of bar-hopping was real easy.

Had a great time. Enjoyed the kayaks and had plenty of room for family of 9 to spread out in 4 separate sleeping rooms with 10 separate beds. The bunk suite with its own bathroom is a great hideaway spot.

I love this property. I've been here twice now. It's unique and the location is perfect for the golf courses. Gorgeous lake setting.

Bob is very commutative and makes sure everything is right. An enjoyable experience was had by all!

Always a great relaxing getaway with the family. Very spacious, beautiful view, nice quie, neighborhood, close to town. We have rented several times and always enjoy our stay. Bob is very helpful and great to work with.

Very nice place to relax. Quiet part of the lake. Convenient to town and shopping. Everything you need is here. Has been improved over the last four years. We plan on coming again next year. Bob the owner is extremely easy to work with and very accommodating. Place to dock the boats though there is no beach but the state and county parks are near. Just an overall nice place.

What a great place to relax and enjoy the view!! Owner does an excellent job communicating and provides most everything you need for vaca for sure!! The place holds 2 families easy. You can't beat the view of the lake from the north end ...picture perfect!! The swim area could be a bit better but you can swim/float and kayak if you want there. Beaches are close by and so are food drink and stores. Great location, been there twice so far : )

We really enjoyed the three-night stay. Plenty of room especially for kids. Lake view is gorgeous. Centered location to multiple attractions. The owner was kind enough to ship an item we left within two day. Thanks for letting us stay!

A larger group of us stayed at Bob’s place in Gaylord & had an excellent time. I was very impressed with the communication aspect, Bob made sure to let us know everything that the house offered & we were prepared ahead of time with anything else we might need to bring along for our group. Multiple beds and bedrooms made it perfect for our friends and their families. Beautiful access to the lake & a great fire pit to sit and enjoy. The location is better than we could’ve asked for & such a short drive into town without feeling like your in a congested area.

We were looking for an affordable spot where we could get beautiful views of the lake. The cabin is awkward in its layout but works for bigger groups and allows for some separation if wanted. Only real issue is if you wanted to go swimming right outside of the cottage. The water is not great for that but it is pretty and allows for boats to access. We had family on other parts of the lake so this was not a big issue. The owner is amazing. Very hospitable and kept in great communication with me throughout the stay.

Lots of room for all of us. Good fire pit right on the lake. Kids had fun fishing from the dock. Plenty of kayaks & a couple canoes.

Bob was a great communicator during our stay. The layout of the cabin was perfect for our group and the area around the cabin was incredibly quiet which we loved. Bob's cabin was well-stocked with towels, paper towel and toilet paper which is awesome considering a lot of places don't provide these items. The areas that were "high contact" areas were well-cleaned but the cabin could use additional attention (vacuuming) closer to the walls. I think that previous renters weren't so considerate during their stays as we noticed some weather stripping coming off the main door (Bob said all the doors were replaced this year along with the locks) to the cabin and the deadbolt was a little difficult to lock. There's not an area to swim in front of the cabin but Bob did communicate this to us a few days ahead of time plus the listing doesn't suggest an area to swim either. We really enjoyed our stay. It felt like we were away from it all but everything was just a short drive away.

Already looking forward to next summers stay

Cabin is old and out dated. However we were told that a new kitchen and bathroom were being done which is much needed. Nice lake but no swimming for kids. Had to go to the state park which wasn't far but inconvenient.

We were able to go kayaking and fishing without leaving the property. Everything worked great. I was there for Memorial Day weekend and it was still a very quiet area. Also enough parking for a few cars. I have no complaints, would definitely book again !

We had a great experience! The house had everything we needed! The kids loved playing outside! A great place to get away! The host was great with communication and got back to us right away if we had any questions! We plan on going back there!
