Ubicados junto a lagos de pesca de agua dulce bien establecidos en un lugar tranquilo y rural, estos cinco alojamientos independientes (referencias UKC1324, UKC1325, 29727, 29728 y 29729) ofrecen un excelente alojamiento para vacaciones. Las propiedades están a solo 2 millas de Burgh le Marsh ya solo 5 millas de la localidad costera de Skegness con sus excelentes playas de arena, feria de diversión, diversiones, teatro, un santuario de focas y la Reserva Natural de Gibraltar Point. Cada cabaña tiene su propio jacuzzi privado ubicado en la terraza cubierta con vista a los lagos de pesca, que están bien abastecidos con carpas maduras de hasta 20 lb, barble de hasta 11 lb y brema de hasta 7 lb, así como carpa cruda, chub, tenca, ide, rudd, roach y perca. Para aquellos que no quieren pescar, hay mucho que ver y hacer en la zona. Las atracciones de la zona incluyen Lincolnshire Wolds, el vuelo conmemorativo de la batalla de Gran Bretaña en Coningsby o Horncastle, a 30 minutos en coche, famoso por sus numerosas tiendas de antigüedades y de colección. Visita Fantasy Island en Ingoldmells. La Catedral de Lincoln, donde se filmó "El Código Da Vinci" con Tom Hanks, está a una hora en coche y hay muchas excelentes rutas de senderismo y ciclismo en toda la zona. Playa 5 millas. Stayed in the bramble lodge in March 2020. Was an amazing break away, so peaceful, super clean, great value for money and well, the hot tub was of course the highlight! Will be re booking asap

Bramble Cottage & the fishing site were excellent and we had a lovely relaxing & restful week in a more than comfortable lodge.
The local amenities were very poor, although there are two local groceries the selection of fresh foods were practically non existent, and the butchers & bakery never seemed to be open & no timetables on the doors to give their opening times. The local pub "The Fleece" luckily served very good home cooked meals at very reasonable prices. Unfortunately whether it's a sign of the times or not the whole area appears to be a little run down, although the countryside itself is beautiful.
I hope that the down side improves as Bramble Lodge, Faulkers Fisheries & the locals deserve better.

Lovely peaceful place with great fishing.
Lovely peaceful place with great fishing. The lodge is well equipped with everything you need and beds are really comfy.
Not so good points.... We did find that the hot tub had way too much chlorine in, burnt our eyes some days just sitting in it. The WIFI isn’t the best, would just go off completely sometimes and because it’s shared we had no access. We also had some problems with the waste systems. The toilets were blocked and caused the system to back up into the bath tub! The owners did sort the problem pretty fast but the insult then smelt of sewage for the rest of the week.
Very close to Skegness. Found it very difficult to get any takeaway or a nice restaurant, so had to go into Skegness most days so would recommend doing a food shop and cooking.
We had a lovely time despite some of the issues and would recommend for anybody wanting a quite break away but wouldn’t recommend for young children as there isn’t anywhere they can run around freely.

Loved our weeks stay at bramble, the fishing was superb and the lodge was amazing.
Loved our weeks stay at bramble, the fishing was superb and the lodge was amazing. Had everything and more we could have asked for. The only pain was the flys which drove us mad but to be expected by the lakes and local live stock. Brilliant place and only a short drive to beautiful beaches at Sutton on sea and Sandilands, the walks up the promenade are a must, especially with children on bikes or scooters.
