Everything just Great!!!

Over priced for what you get. Check in was not communicated correctly, doors were confusing and instructions in the unit do not match email instructions. We felt insecure w parking across the street with no sign to put in our car. However, it was never towed or booted. We were not even provided an entire roll of toilet paper. We have never heard back concerning our deposit after submitting a question on this site. I have used this service many times and this is our first disappointment.

Love this 1 bedroom! Right on the beach and close to everything! It was cold during our visit but still loved the view. Great place to relax!

What a fantastic cutely decorated boathouse themed rental! The location is hands down the BEST- walking distance to everything you need. Beach views, towels chairs and patio were enjoyable. Kitchen has everything we needed to get some fresh seafood and eat at home. Bed/pillows was the most comfy j have stayed in for a rental. Definitely worth the stay!

Stayed here in July. The apartment does have air conditioning for the beach side of the house. There is NO air conditioning in the bedroom unless you set up a fan. Even after that it was to hot. For what they charged, Don’t be cheap- put in another window unit in the bedroom. Second- no direct beach access. You have to walk out the front door onto the main street (heavy and loud traffic) dodge the parked cars and then make your way down to the handicapped beach entrance. When I specifically asked the owner about this, there is direct beach access. Her definition of and my definition of direct beach access doesn’t match. I am used to beach houses in North Carolina where you roll out of the house and you’re on the beach and in the water. The owner was quick to reply to all messages and was quick to replace the propane in the grill when notified it was emptied.

This was our first visit to Anna Maria Island, and we look forward to coming back! My husband and I stayed at the property (getaway without our kiddos!). The condo was a perfect setup for the two of us, but could see how it could get a little cramped with more people, especially with one bathroom. The location is amazing - right on the beach, short walk on the beach to the Beach House restaurant, and walking distance to Bridge Street. We rented a car and I would highly recommend having a car to get around. Wendy was super responsive when we reached out with any questions. We enjoyed lots of wonderful restaurants, friendly people, and beautiful beaches during our stay!

Accommodations were clean and as advertised. Beautiful beach view. Only a few steps to the beach. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. Will definitely stay here again. The patio door latch needs replaced. The bathroom sink faucet needs replaced; very low water pressure.

Also, there is only a/c in the living room, so even with several fans running the bedroom is HOT. Love the beach access, though, which counts for a lot! And Wendy is easy to work with.

Absolutely perfect location. Right on the beach, easy to walk back and forth to condo. Balcony was best part! No AC in bedroom, so June heat had the condo warm in the evenings, but cooled in the night. Condo had everything you need for the beach: cooler, beach chairs, umbrellas, toys, etc. lots of little details host had ready for a great stay!

First the good things. It has everything you need. It's decor is updated. Big TV's. Wi-Fi. Beautiful beach view from the windows spanning across the living room. Also, nice deck beach view. Beautiful palm trees surrounding property. The bed was so comfortable. I'm missing it today! A few cons: The air conditioners in the living room keep the living room and kitchen cool, but the bedroom was not as cool as we would have liked. We read the reviews, so we brought a box fan to help carry the air from the living room to the bedroom, and we slept fine (even with my hot flashes). The balcony in the pictures with the view does not have stairs to beach. There is a small room to the side that has a futon, which I feel would be too warm to sleep in, but it was a great place to keep things when we weren't using them, including the cooler and beach stuff provided. On the bed tere were 2 very mediocre pillows and 2 that were very flat/useless. Some helpful info: This is the first gulfside beach condo as you drive in from Longboat Key. It is located right next to the public beach, which is very park-like and no more crowded than any other part. Bradenton Beach is more busy and has more nightlight. The North side toward Bean Point is fancier and more quite. I'm not a partier, but I enjoyed the area we stayed in. There were just enough people and places to walk to The Beach House restaurant is about 2 blocks down on the beach. It has amazing food and you can eat with your toes in the sand. You can see the bay from your porch. It's a block away. You really don't need a car, but if you'd like you can rent a golf cart and drive it all over the island, as they are street legal there. The Rid and Reel Pier is a fun place to eat with amazing Grouper. You are almost guaranteed to see a dophin showing off close by.

Great little apartment on the second floor of a 4 unit building with a terrace overlooking the beach. Loved that they had beach towels, chairs umbrellas etc. Also lovely clean white new towels for “inside.” Space worked well for family of 4 with two teens. Kitchen had all the basics. Wendy the owner was totally responsive and great. We had same parking issue as other comments…spaces not clearly marked and not really enough space for 4 cars, one for each apt. Wendy set us up with another space but caused some stress initially trying to figure it out. Cons: The bedroom , which my husband and I took, was really warm, no AC, and too loud outside to open windows. Bathroom is in bedroom. any other people staying would need to go in and out of room. Not a biggie for a family.

We loved this little beach front apartment! Perfect location just steps from shops and restaurants. Such a beautiful view of the gulf. Parking might be tight but we were given a spot in a commercial lot across the street. 2 AC units were in living room and that may be needed in the summer because unit did get a little warm. Could have used one of those units in the bedroom. I’m sure that would have been an easy fix but we weren't too concerned bc evenings were pretty cool. Bed and bedding was super comfortable. Would definitely go back!
