The property is nice - back yard and pool are nice. The house is nice - good for entertaining. House could sleep 12 - two of the bedrooms are in the pool house are not air conditioned and are very hot a night. The bathroom for the two pool house room is outside! We did not use it. So really the house is a three bath - four bedroom house.
The fees associated with the place are utterly ridiculous. Take the per night stay and then mark that up by 40% to get the real per night stay. Cleaning fee - which is expected but not at this level, per person fee "additional fee" whatever that is. House sleeps 12 - so a significant charge on top of the per night charge. Not to mention all the VBRO fees - the ending per night charge is WAY higher than what is advertised. YES the fees are disclosed at the end but the per night rate is completely misleading. The clear misrepresation does not leave you wanting to come back, to say the least.

Jennifer was great and responsive. The house and property are so amazing. Lots of little touches and thoughtful items that made the stay so warm, comfortable and welcoming. The beds are sooo comfortable too!

Jennifer is a wonderful host. She has put a lot into the property, especially the landscaping which contributes to the overall vibe. The location is really unique and cool, and it is easy to access all that Sonoma offers. House is well appointed, the great room is comfortable and spacious enough that 9 people having 8 hours of meetings per day, felt roomy. Loved the indoor/outdoor flow and the pool. To me it is California living at its best. I only have three critiques: There should be blinds on the front bathroom window, because it faces the front entrance, and you look right into it as you approach the house. Secondly, the toilet paper hanger in two of the bathrooms is really awkward. The bathrooms need a towel rack.

Everything was perfect. The house was large enough and the surrounding area around the pool etc was lovely.the hot tub wasn't working but it was fixed immediately. The kitchen was well stocked so there wasn't anything that wasn't thought of

There were 5 couples that stayed at Jennifer'a place this past August and the place is absolutely amazing!! We were pleasantly surprised that the whole house had been recently renovated from when we originally booked :). The backyard is a complete oasis and there was more than enough room for 10 people (one couple had to stay in one of the she sheds). We did not want to leave! I would highly recommend!!

The house and property are beyond gorgeous! Jennifer has it stocked with everything you could possibly need, and more! It was tucked away and felt like our own personal oasis. This is definitely a vacation home.

We loved staying at Jennifer’s beautiful property, infused with the spirit of Aloha. The house is beautifully remodeled but you won’t spend any time inside because the garden and pool are spectacular. This property comes with everything you need for an amazing stay in Sonoma! Jennifer is a gracious host and will make you feel right at home!

Wonderful retreat

It was a perfect oasis for a large group of friends to have a reunion. We had 11 of us and we fit comfortably in the living room and kitchen for all our activities. Loved the hot tub after the days activities though we had to share between so many of us.
One caveat is two bedrooms are in a separate pool house in the back - not an issue for us but could be for some who want everyone in the same house.

this is our 2nd time renting this beautiful property, and we'll definitely be back again! Pool, hot tub, fire pit, big kitchen, gas grill, wi-fi all great. Unique is the double-sized outdoor table that seats about 18 people, which was essential for our family get-together.

A group of 12 of us traveled to the Sonoma area for some relaxation and, of course, wine tasting. We thought this property would be perfect for us even though we knew we would most likely only use the 2 indoor showers. We were surprised to find out that the "third bathroom" was completely outdoors (not just the shower) and did not have any lights. Unfortunately, it rained most of our trip so the women who were sleeping in the she-shed had use the toilet in the dark while getting rained on or run across the lawn to use an indoor one. This was less than ideal. I can see this being a great option in the summer months, but do not intend on using this bathroom in inclement weather.
Besides that, the property grounds were gorgeous! We wish we were able to fully utilize them but again because of the rain we didn't get to spend as much time outside as we wanted to.
The interior of the house had everything we needed for a fun weekend, including a karaoke machine!! The kitchen was even stocked with a few treats for us!
The house as a whole could use some updating, but it was clean considering its age. I will say, the beds were all extremely comfortable so that was a huge plus!
All in all we enjoyed our time at this property and may return in better weather! :)

This mini-nursing school class reunion was made perfect by the home and grounds. Large gathering kitchen made our time together warm and intimate. Fully stocked home with very comfy beds. Beautiful well kept grounds with lots of nooks and hideaways to be alone. "In the country" feel but 10 minutes from Somoma Square. All was as advertised, and Jennifer was a responsive and communicative host. Hopefully will return in the summer. Just perfect.

The outside is amazing and we would definitely stay again. Additionally, the property manager was easy to contact and very helpful with ideas. I would recommend.

My friends and I rented this house for 5 days to celebrate a 40th birthday. Jennifer met us in person for the check-in. The house is well stocked and conveniently located. One night we walked from the center of town back to the house. The path is dark and easy, but you wouldn’t want to do the walk all the time. The gates at the house give an extra sense of security. We enjoyed the backyard tremendously. It is a little oasis. The inside probably hasn’t been updated since the 70’s, but we didn’t mind the retro feel. We enjoyed our stay.

This is just the perfect vacation rental home! The outdoor space is above and beyond! From the pool, the hot tub the outdoor dining with accent lights and grape leaf canopy, this space is where we lived when we weren’t wine tasting! The “she-shed” was perfect for one of the couples with a private but outdoor bathroom complete with rain shower! Wow! If our friends group goes back to re-do this amazing weekend we will go back to this home. Jennifer is the perfect property host and provided everything we needed! You won’t go wrong with this one.

Fantastic home and sprawling property! Beautiful outdoor entertaining space- pool, hottub, fire pit, lounging space. Really great house and a great time has by all.
Note that the property wasn’t as private as described, and the property manager lives in another house on site.
