Not sure what the negative reviews are about. This property was great. The backyard is absolutely beautiful and the house was clean. Plenty of towels and a great amount of space. There were 9 of us and we were all very comfortable. I felt safe here. There are some restaurants and bars in the area and I felt comfortable walking to them at all times (I was always with at least 2 others but I think would feel fine alone also). I would definitely stay here again!

The pool and back yard was amazing. The owner was easy to contact. The house was very suitable for our group. The neighborhood is a little sketchy so I would highly recommend not letting teens / older children walk around alone. Be alert to your surroundings if you're out wanking around.

This was a great house and location for our business trip! We enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. Close to everything.

We arrived at the property and headed straight to the pool. Later we realized the home was rather hot (83 degrees F) and not cooling down. After looking at email I realized the property manager sent a message to call him. I called and he was aware the AC condenser froze up and was not cooling the house and repair guy would be there the next morning. He offered another property a couple miles away in Hollywood where we could stay so we took him up on the offer. The Hollywood property had advantages for our group and we stayed there 5 nights until a new group was moving in so we went back to this home in Dania Beach. The AC was fixed and worked well. The pool and spa (not a hot tub) was nice in a very nice fenced in backyard with great outdoor seating. The bathrooms are nice and clean. Plenty of towels and they were not musty smelling as noted in one review. Most everyone thought the beds were very comfy. The drive from this house to the beach is an easy and direct drive. The floors are in rough shape and a little uneven but you walk on them, not a real problem. Parking is okay for one car, more than two cars would be a challenge. The biggest issue at this house is the dishwasher that doesn’t really work, the wash machine that squeaks terribly during the wash cycle, the dryer that we had to run 3 times to dry one load of laundry and the refrigerator that had water/ice in the door but didn’t work either. The disappointing thing was that we inquired about the dryer being functional after reading reviews and we were assured that everything worked. Well I guess it did work, just not very effectively.

The hot tub was a lukewarm tub. We requested that he came to fix it but he claimed it was as hot as it will get. (85 Degrees) There were moldy wet towels in the washing machine. I washed them and the the dryer didn’t work. The wifi was extremely spotty. It said it slept 12 but that included someone on the couch and someone on an air mattress … but the air mattress was broken. The dishwasher doesn’t release the detergent. Not in a safe neighborhood.

We rented the property for a week after Christmas till New year. This is a property/house that is solely used for renting (unlike all the other VRBOs i have stayed, which give you a warmth/feel that you are stepping into a friend/relative's home). This is 5 bed rooms, 4 bathrooms, a kitchen, dining area, living area, stitched together as an alternate to staying in 3-4 individual hotel rooms. You will not be making any fond memories in this house and neither in the vicinity of this house... The following were the issues : - Heat not working at home (yes we landed at the worst winter in FL's history but with 70-80 yr olds and kids, we needed heat). This didnt get fixed for two nights after multiple/repeated requests for help... - Clothes dryer didnt work for the entire trip. I had to make daily trips to the local laundromat (thankfully there are 2-3 around)..so every morning i would make a run to the local laundromat (opens at 6am), spend 90 mins and get back as family is getting ready for the day - Bed Sheets and comforters smell bad - Floor uneven, boards coming off, scratches at multiple places - using the Microwave flickers the light in kitchen, lights/fans dont work in sync - front door knob broken - House is small for a party greater than 6-8, the dining, living/TV room all spill into each other - Small but important things like : no soap in bathroom, no dishwashing liquid, floor mats in bathroom missing, hand soap is the cheapest variety, kitchen utensils extremely used, fridge drawers missing.. That said, the house host was very responsive and tried his best to fix the issues but we decided to vacate the house with one night left as the overall experience was just not worth it for us as a family... Regarding VRBO as a entity, i would seriously look at other options as in all of this, they did little to help (heat, dryer etc) and after the first day, just forgot about the "ticket" that i raised.
