What a nice home this was! It was clean, roomy, cozy, and walking distance to town. Additionally, Donna was incredibly accommodating to us as we were snowed in and unable to leave on our designated checkout date. Donna was responsive, understanding, and allowed us to extend our stay a day so the roads would have the chance to clear and it would be safe to drive back home. I would stay here again when I come back to Glenwood Springs!

My small family needed a change of scenery for Christmas, and this house/town were both perfect! The location is unbeatable - walking distance to the grocery store, Walgreens, shopping, and restaurants. The house is old/historical but kept up very nicely. The only reason I didn't give five stars for cleanliness is because there was still coffee grounds and old coffee in the coffee maker when we arrived, and two bottles of soap for handwashing were empty in the kitchen and upstairs bathroom (just FYI for the owner). Other than that, the house was very clean and comfortable - plenty of towels, blankets, and pillows. There is also plenty of space for family and friends to relax together, although the couch in the living room is not very comfortable. It was nice to be able to bring our dogs and have a fenced-in backyard for them. However, if you have old dogs, be aware that the staircase to the upper floor is steep with no carpet (no traction), so our old dog couldn't come upstairs with us. However, since there is a bedroom on the main floor, she didn't have to sleep downstairs alone. The owner did a great job of keeping us informed of local services and how to use various things around the house. Overall, it is a wonderful house and we would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a mountain getaway.

The house itself is older but very charming for its age. The floors do make a lot of noise when walking in the evenings with kids sleeping this could be an issue for some. The heat system is very slow to warm up, takes hours so turn it up when needed early. Everything otherwise in this house was good and worked well. Close to town and very convenient to most things. Would recommend this property as an option if your looking in this area.

Cute house and great location. We are repeat guests. This is our go-to place when we come to Glenwood. Walking distance to downtown and City Market. Also quick access the river paths.

Great place to stay!

We spent 5 nights here, while my husband spent some time on location from his typically remote job. We enjoyed visiting the Adventure Park, walking around downtown and shopping, delicious food (try Slope and Hatch, along with Underbelly!). We were able to walk to get sandwiches and ice cream, and enjoy the cool weather this fall. Great location, home away from home where you can relax. We even completed 2/5 of one of the puzzles in the closet, started in a rainy day. Having grown up in a small town myself, it reminded me of my hometown. Shop owners are so friendly as well.

The house was perfect for our group of 2 couples. Very comfortable and well appointed. Wonderful location for walking on the river, shopping and going to town. Also found other fun things to do like hot springs and the gondola.

We loved this house. It was built in 1941 and is wonderfully quirky. The hosts have thoroughly updated and remodeled, but it still has that old time feel. My seven year old grandson, while sitting on the back porch looking at stars, asked if we could just stay forever! We loved the area and hope to return!
