立地は最高、プールやサウナがあるのもよかったです。ロビーマンもとても親切でした。ただ、お部屋の清掃はあまり綺麗にされていませんでした。ベッドの下に前の宿泊者が残したごみ袋が残っていたり、薬のタブレットが落ちていたりしました。小さい子供と一緒だったので、薬が落ちていたのは大変危険でした。それ以外はとてもよかったです。

This condo was very conveniently located to walk anywhere in Waikiki. We had a great stay everything was great! Accommodated our car rental with a parking space as well. We were in Hawaii for our son’s wedding and wanted to stay in Fairway Villa as we stayed there 4 years ago and loved the location. Was easy to book and we had no issues during our stay. We were happy that there were beach chairs, snorkel equipment and lots of beach towels (we didn’t need that many).

The rental experience with Captain Cook rentals was so easy and painless. The rep that met us at the condo, Byron, was very helpful & pleasant. The condo was so very nice and comfortable...very homey feeling. Beds & linens were exceptional. The only problem we encountered was not being able to connect to Wi-Fi...kept saying it was an invalid password. We would definitely stay in this condo again and will recommend it to family & friends. Thank you!

The beach chairs provided were in great condition along with the beach towels. Also, having a washer and dryer in the unit was great since we were there for 15 days. I rented a full size Chevy Impala and had no trouble parking in the parking stall which had been described as a small stall for a compact car. I will definitely use this location again in the future.

Waikiki condo, walk everywhere
The unit was clean and had new towels and linen,. we loved the short walk to all the popular waikiki restaurants and shopping. The beach chairs provided were in great condition along with the beach towels. Also, having a washer and dryer in the unit was great since we were there for 15 days. I rented a full size Chevy Impala and had no trouble parking in the parking stall which had been described as a small stall for a compact car. I will definitely use this location again in the future.

September 2019 Stay
We enjoyed our stay. 1st trip to Hawaii for our 27th anniversary. We found unit 817 to be comfortable and cozy for 4 Adults. Clean neat quiet and convenient to shops and sights. Would definitely come back and stay in this unit.

Nice condo in a really convenient location. Noisy Ala Wai Blvd location and could really use some new double pane windows, instead of louvers. Condo in good shape and provided beach towels, chairs, and an umbrella. You need to supply your own condiments, spices, etc, which I expect at any condo, and anyone who doesn't should stay at a hotel.
My two biggest issues was the underground parking garage. Previous reviews said get a small car for the space. Property management echoed that. I reserved a standard, got a full size (Optima) and two days later was changing it in for a Kia Soul for the higher ground clearance. The entry/exit is at such an angle due to some spot repaving that every time I exited in the Optima it sounded like I was ripping the bottom off the car. So, shorter wheel base or higher ground clearance. The space is very narrow, though. I doubt a Jeep would fit.
Second would be the AC. The small window units were ok but had trouble keeping the rooms cool. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay to avoid the high cost of Waikiki Beach. Walking distance to everything in the area.

Nice unit, a little outdated and not much storage, but the location was perfect for us. The louvered windows NEED to be replaced with double paned windows for noise. The traffic on Ala Wai Blvd is LOUD and kept my wife awake. The air conditioners could be updated too for noise. I brought ear plugs. They supplied beach chairs which we used each day, and beach towels and umbrella. That was great. I really like the view of the canal and the golf course. The walk to Waikiki beach and shops is a couple of blocks and was fantastic. Not having to find a place to park was worth it's weight in quarters.

Overall very good experience. Communication was excellent. Accommodations very clean and well appointed. Appreciated the beach chairs and gear. Location central to shops, restaurants, and beach. All within walking distance. Couple of minor negatives the beds are rather hard and the hallway definitely smelled funky.

Room 817 at the Fairway Villa is very modern and clean. The AC is very good, robust and easy to set. wifi is excellent. cable TV is good but no premium cable channels. washer and dryer are easy to use. we only had one problem and that was dampness in the rug caused by a crack in the unit housing the master bedroom AC. this led to mildew and mold and Captain Cook moved us to another floor. That unit was older and had very small, low power AC units. It was always a bit stuffy in 2002. I loved having a parking space as the Ala Wai Canal area has very limited metered parking. It is centrally located. We could walk two blocks to the International Market place for shops and restaurants. Our house manager James was excellent about communications and meeting our needs.

Room 817 at the Fairway Villa is very modern and clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our seven night stay at Fairway Villa #817. It was extremely convenient to Waikiki beach, only two block walk. The roof offered a great view of the ocean and a 360 degree view of everything. If you want a quick dip in the pool or to grill you can find both on the roof. In the lobby there is a security guard and a Official mail drop.
Unit #817 was cozy and comfortable and we really enjoyed having a washer/ dryer in the unit. Having two rooms gave us space and plenty of room to relax. The parking space was perfect and convenient...but only for a small car or small SUV.
We enjoyed walking to dine and shop close by. There is an ABC grocery store and a whalers grocery store within a block or two. The next time we’re in Waikiki we would definitely stay here again.

We had four adults staying in the condo and we had plenty of room. Everything was clean. Some Reno’s were complete, but the bathrooms stilll need done. However, this was not an issue. James, the building manager was wonderful to work with, and the security was great. Felt very safe. The pool area was great, lots of chairs, and a perfect view. Great location, easy walk to beach, shops, restaurants etc.Looking to stay again next year, same building, but a unit on a higher floor. All in all, a great stay, and great value!

This property is ideally located but the building is run down and, though there are non-smoking signs posted everywhere, it smells like an ashtray with garbage thrown in for good measure. The condo itself is rundown, with dingy walls and furniture, and patch-job repairs. The decor is a mishmash of asian artifacts and odd framed photos that didn't fit the main theme. The linen, though clean, were really faded and worn. The towel rack in one of the bathrooms kept falling off the wall and we found eight cockroaches in the kitchen and bathrooms. When we complained via text messaging, James, the property manager contact, came over the next day and put roach traps in the kitchen and bathrooms. He also arranged to have a handyman come to fix the towel rack. He was nice and did his best. However, we feel this place is slightly lower that Motel 6 type accommodations and would not recommend it.

Not the newest space but It was cozy and comfotable for us. We stayed in the room with two twin beds which we were able to combine and make it a king size bed. This was perfect for co-sleeping with our 1 year old. The location was amazing which was right by all the Waikiki shopping areas and everything was in walking distance. Some minor problems with the property such as broken towel rack and water leaking but the property manager James was able to assist us in a timely manner. The room came with a free parking space but it was located in the very far end in a closed space hence do not recommend to park there if you are renting a larger vehicle. (Barely fit our Nissan Pathfinder). Other than that, we were very satisfied with our stay!

We feel the Captain Cook Resort title was a bit misleading. There are no resort amenities at all. Just a condo rental in an apartment building. This is a nice place but right next to the busiest street in Waikiki. Traffic noise all day and night. For this reason we would not recommend it to a friend. Contact with Management was okay; contacted by text if needed. Having a parking space included was very nice.

Location of the unit was great; close to nice mall and quiet location; however, the unit was very smelly (beds smelled like sweaty gross people had slept in them and never showered); the unit also had roaches -disgusting!!!! i had my young 4 year old and 1.5 year old toddlers having to walk around with gross bugs. Overall, while the location was nice, the unit itself seemed dirty, bug-ridden, and the beds were downright gross and smelly. Cannot recommend this place and will never stay here again.

Had a fantastic holiday. The apartment was in excellent condition, clean and airy. It was within walking distance of everything we needed and had a fantastic view of the canal and golf course. It was very comfortable and I would have no hesitation in re booking for another holiday. The communication with the management was outstanding, we could not be happier.

A convenient place to stay, nice roof top pool but incredibly noisy at night (from 8th Floor). Toaster did not work properly and no plug -in electric jug (had to use stove to make tea). Second bedroom not made up as queen bed (as ordered) but fixed promptly. Security good.
