Great location of the apartment. An amazing space with an amazing host. We felt right at home upon arriving and welcome all during our stay.

We celebrated a milestone birthday renting two lovely apartments, owned by Claudia, across the hall from each other in the heart of Florence. The apartments were extremely clean, well appointed, beautifully decorated, and with an exceptional location to walk to everything for our two families (ages 9 and 11 and four adults). Claudia was communicative, kind, and patient answering our many questions and giving great suggestions/ideas. She gifted each family with a delicious bottle of wine and olive oil that she had grown and produced. Check in and assistance with directions and hiring early morning cabs was flawless by Viviana. Highly recommend these two apartments for your next vacation-five stars! We will definitely return to these gems!

Celebrated my mom’s 80th birthday and my daughter’s 20th birthday while visiting her as she studies abroad. The apartment was spacious and beautiful. Great location. Claudia was an extremely gracious host. She even made us a tart upon arrival in celebration of the birthdays. She is incredibly nice and checked in on us often to ensure we were comfortable and had all we needed. She even helped us arrange middle of the night transportation to the airport. I can’t say enough nice things about her. Thank you for all!

Once you climb the 56 stairs, you enter a very large very well appointed very cozy apartment with all the amenities. but the best thing is the location -- Borgo Pinti is right in the heart of old Florence, called "Centro." Everywhere is easily accessible on foot. Also, right out the door is everything you need --farmacia, convenience store, couple of excellent restaurants.

The apartment is spacious, comfortable and quiet. The bedding and mattresses are very comfortable and cozy. It is very cheerful. There is a washing machine and a small balcony for drying clothes. The dishwasher works well. Amazingly quiet for such a noisy, busy city. We felt very much at home there. Great location!
Claudia, our host, is delightful and helpful.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Claudia's vacation rental in Florence! From start to finish, our experience was exceptional, and we couldn't have asked for a better place to call home during our trip. Here are some of the highlights that made our stay truly memorable:
First and foremost, Claudia's communication leading up to our trip was outstanding. She sent us a detailed letter in advance that was incredibly informative and helped us plan our family's stay in Florence better than we could have on our own. It was clear that she genuinely cared about ensuring we had a wonderful experience.
Upon our arrival, Viviana welcomed us with a warm smile and was incredibly helpful during the check-in process. She made us feel right at home and provided us with some great local tips that came in handy throughout our stay.
One of the standout features of our stay was Claudia's assistance in arranging a taxi from the airport. This small but thoughtful gesture took away so much stress upon our arrival, especially since we were traveling with a pregnant wife.
Speaking of the stairs, we were initially concerned about the number of flights it took to reach the unit due to my wife's pregnancy. However, it turned out not to be an issue for us, but I would advise potential guests who are 65+ to consider this aspect.
The unit itself was even more impressive than the photos suggested. It was immaculately clean, and we immediately felt comfortable and at ease. The presence of

Our stay at the VRBO apartment in Florence was a vibrant Italian escapade, layered with touches of warmth and rich cultural flavors. Situated within the pulsating heart of this historic city, the apartment served as a springboard to an exquisite Italian adventure.
Every aspect of the apartment painted a perfect picture of elegance and comfort. Its sophisticated fusion of historic charm and modern luxury, accompanied by spotless cleanliness, set a remarkably inviting stage for our stay.
The location was second to none, offering us front row seats to the living museum that is Florence. The proximity to majestic landmarks like the Ponte Vecchio, Uffizi Gallery, and the unforgettable Duomo added an incredible convenience to our cultural exploration. Furthermore, the apartment's close-knit connection with a variety of quaint cafes and genuine Italian eateries served as an enriching chapter in our culinary journey.
But the soul of our stay was undeniably our wonderful hosts, Claudia and her friend and assistant, Viviana. Their passion for Florence and their guests was deeply felt. Their personalized recommendations, meticulous attention to detail, and assistance in seamless reservations transformed our trip into a curated cultural experience.
A particularly delightful surprise was Claudia's thoughtful gift of locally sourced wine and olive oil. The rich, full-bodied wine, coupled with the aromatic olive oil, was

I’m almost hesitant to write a review and reveal this gem of a property & host. Truly one of the most amazing short term rental experiences we’ve ever had. Claudia and her assistant Viviana were incredibly communicative (before we arrived, met us for check in and consistently throughout our week’s stay). Claudia also provided us with not only a can of her olive oil and wine, but with a homemade cake for my daughter as I had shared it would be her birthday when we arrived - she made us feel like family! They both had wonderful recommendations for restaurants and activities and helped us rent a private driver for a tour of Siena & San Gimignano (with lunch & wine tasting) as well as arrange a taxi for our departure. And even when there was a small plumbing issue, Claudia worked hard to get it fixed as soon as possible, communicating along the way. The apartment was perfect for my sister and I and my 2 teenage kids, enough space to spread out, cook meals, and relax in the evenings while also being a short walk to everything we needed. We will most certainly be back to stay with Claudia!

Family of three stayed for five nights. My eight-year-old son LOVED the loft area. The apartment was much bigger than I had anticipated. It was fun pretending to be a resident of Florence for a few days. Claudia and Viviana were so helpful and more than accommodating with early check-in, offering advice, recommendations, and quick to answer any questions we had during our stay. We were also delighted to receive gifts of wine and olive oil upon arrival! The apartment location was very convenient. Overall, great experience! Definitely recommend!

Stayed in this apartment with my family for a brief visit to Florence during our vacation. The apartment is lovely, very comfortable, and had everything we needed.
My son stayed in the loft-style bedroom and got bitten by bugs because we opened the window the first night to cool off as it was hot in the apartment. Due to a misunderstanding with the booking, the air conditioning (a/c) was not turned on during our stay as the host taught we had booked through a different service which apparently doesn't include a/c.
The issue was resolved by the host by sending over 2 fans on the second day we stayed there which was enough to keep us cool. After a few days, she realized that the booking in VRBO included a/c so she resolved the matter by covering the individual taxes which are mandatory in Italy.
The booking rules were confusing but the stay was lovely. We appreciated the wine and olive oil too. Thank you!

This lovely apartment was our first stop on a first visit to Italy for my husband and two adult children. We were able to meet Claudia briefly when we arrived, and then shown around the apartment by Viviana. Our hosts were both warm and welcoming with many suggestions for the city and helpful maps available. The apartment itself was perfect for us! Three large bedrooms, charming Living area and amazing kitchen! Even a small outdoor space for early morning coffee. Much larger than the pictures appear to be. The beds were very comfortable, excellent quality sheets, and towels. The entire space was spotless.
Unfortunately, we didn’t spend enough time relaxing there and in Florence, but will plan better on our next visit. Thank you for the delicious, red wine, Claudia! It was one of our favorites of the entire trip! I am saving the olive oil The next family get together.
We could not have been happier with this property. Highly recommended!

We loved this cozy apartment. It was clean, spacious, and full of natural light. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of covers.
The kitchen was our favorite place. It was very well equipped and roomy.
The location was perfect. We walked to everything. Claudia our host was always available and helpful if we needed her.

We had a lovely stay in this well appointed apartment. It started with a very informative and charming check in with Viviana! She told us all of the important information about the property and then gave us a brief review of interesting a less seen places to visit in Florence.
Our communication with the owner, Claudia was great! She checked in with us to be sure we had everything several times and just to let us know she was available if we had questions or wanted some help. She also left us a lovely bottle of wine and some amazing olive oil...above and beyond the call!
The apartment was very quiet (yay for sleeping) and we had everything we needed for cooking in the house.
We were there for about a week and were happy to call it home!

The accommodations were perfect for our stay in Florence. Centrally located with a short walk to many of the areas we wanted to visit. Fell in love with local cafes and panini shops. So many places to shop for gorgeous leather items and window shopped the jewelry bridge. I'd likely recommend the Pizza and Gelato making tour in a Tuscan Farmhouse and Chianti and olive oil tasting in local vineyards.
As noted in other reviews and in the description of the rental, it is on the top floor. It was worth lugging our suitcases to the top floor in order to have access to all the natural sunlight and feel fortunate that we were physically able to do so.

The apartment was as advertised and both the host and the property manager were so responsive and helpful, even before we arrived in Florence! Our group of four adults included two young men in their 20's, and there was more than enough space for all of us! It's also in a great location, making it so easy to walk anywhere in the city. We followed many of the recommendations from the host and were not disappointed by those choices! In fact, we were so very grateful for some of them! Thank you so much for your hospitality and a great stay in Florence!!

Really enjoyed our stay here in Florence. The apartment is within walking distance from all the famous attractions and not to mention many many restaurants around. The apartment is clean and modern, and yet has a rustic feel to it. We highly recommend this place.

Claudia is a wonderful, friendly and super helpful host. We liked the neighborhood so much and the apartment was very comfortable. It's easy to walk to whatever you want to see, yet this location is very much a local neighborhood. We loved it.

The property was extremely well kept and beautiful. More than enough space for your family and/or friends. It is equipped with everything you may need for your stay, and has a very thorough welcome guide to help aquaint you to the apartment and surrounding area. Her assistant Viviana was very helpful in getting us oriented to Florence and showing us the features of the apartment. The location is within very easy walking distance to all the great sites, food, and shopping throughout Florence.
Claudia herself was very welcoming and warm. She treated us like family throughout our stay, helping to guide us to the must see attractions and helping us with dinner reservations several times.
In summary, if you are looking for a great stay with a fantastic host, this your place. Enjoy!

This was a large apartment with air conditioning in a wonderful location a few blocks from the Duomo on a quiet street. There were 2 lovely bedrooms and 1 1/2 baths, as well as a low loft with 2 beds up a level. They also had a small balcony.
The location allowed easy access to all of the center for Florence, and Claudia, owner, was very nice. Unfortunately she was out of town and we didn't get to meet her. Viviana let us in and was a few minutes late and explained everything. There are many stairs up to the apartment which was not a problem except when taking our big suitcases up and down at beginning and end of our stay. Overall, a lovely place to stay in Florence.

Wonderful Quaint Appartment
This property is spotlessly clean and there is plenty of room for a family of 4. We stayed for 3 nights and spent only early mornings and late evenings at the flat as we wanted to explore as much of Florence as possible. As can be seen on the listing, there are no city views from this flat, but it is bright and airy and was not an issue for us as we spent limited time there. On check-in, we were met by Viviana who has extensive knowledge about Florence and provided invaluable tips for optimizing the time we were there, including restaurant recommendations. There was a taxi strike on our arrival and she was available to help troubleshoot our transportation from the train station to the flat. In addition, she arranged for taxi pick up back to the train station on our final day. Viviana is a star! There is an extensive guide book at the flat which was also very useful as a resource and we did not have this in other rental properties during our trip, so this is a welcome and much appreciated touch. On our first morning, we encountered an issue with hot water (our mistake), however, both Viviana and Claudia were highly responsive via text and phone and resolved the issue immediately (even though it was our mistake!!). We loved the layout and the small balcony is suitable for 2 people only, but there was a clothes drying rack which we desperately needed following 4 days of travel elsewhere. Rooms are ample in size and bedding and all linens are like new. The kitchen is big enough if you wish to cook and comfortable for 4 people to sit and eat. The location is perfect if your goal is to see as much of the city as possible and we walked everywhere...a small cafe across the street is suitable for a light breakfast and there is also a small convenience store across the street (including beer, wine and other alcohol!). As mentioned in the listing, there are a number of stairs to the flat, so be prepared and pack luggage accordingly. We were warmly welcomed to this beautiful city by both Viviana and Claudia and we would highly recommend this property as a great selection for a family of 4.

Beautiful apartment in a great location
We stayed in this apartment with our 2 adult kids for about a week and could not have been happier. Claudia, the host, is one of the kindest and most helpful people you will ever meet. She went out of her way to get us to the apartment, when taxis were on strike. She truly cares about the people staying at her place and we are very grateful to have met her.
The apartment is in a wonderful location. All the attractions are within a 5-10 minute walk. The apartment itself is nicely furnished and decorated and provides everything you may need including air conditioning. I cannot think of a single thing that needs improvement.
If you decide to stay here, do yourself a favor and try the little Trattoria restaurant right across from the apartment. It became our favorite during our stay.
We would gladly return to Claudia's apartment anytime. We had a wonderful stay.

Like staying with your own loving family
Claudia's apartment is comfortable, clean, and welcoming. It is a perfect base for exploring Florence, central enough for easy walkability, separated enough for quiet sleep. She is a gracious host and provides well for her guests. Given the chance, we will absolutely visit her again.

Great home base for Florence
We really enjoyed the space and amenities at the apartment and it served our family of four well during our stay in Florence. The kitchen had everything we needed and the size was great to give everyone a chance to relax when the day came to an end. Checking in and out was easy and the location was great to see all the best of Florence. Thanks for the wonderful memories and accommodations!

Live like a Florentine
The location is really perfect with a short walk to the Duomo, the Arno and Ponte Vecchio and the Oltrano. You can walk everywhere and be freed from the tyranny of your car during your stay. Great restaurants close by. Four Seasons on same street with gorgeous gardens! Taxis will come to front door of apartment in an instant if you want to travel further than you can walk, The owner, Claudia, is very professional about this business as well as kind, interesting and generally you will want to keep her as a friend forever. If you have an issue it will be attended to promptly! The apartment is comfortable and well equipped. Get your morning cappucino across from the front door from Pasquale and his brother, None better!
