The house was very nice and was the perfect jumping off spot to explore Jerome!

The house is on a hillside overlooking Jerome - beautiful views both day and night. Convenient access to downtown, although walking does involve a bit of uphill/stair climbing. The house is clean, cozy and full of antique treasures. A fun place to stay!

2 years ago I proposed to my now husband in the backyard of this house. We just celebrated our one year wedding anniversary in this house! We love the location and the views!

The property is amazing…the view and the house are both so beautiful… only complaint… beds are uncomfortable as are pillows. If you enjoy a firm pillow bring your own. You can feel the springs in the mattresses. Otherwise, lovely place.

History of the home is amazing! View is awesome!

The views are exceptional and the beds are comfy. I loved sitting out on the patio and the gas firepit is a plus.
The road to get up to the house is a little tricky, but onsite parking in Jerome is a big plus.
Highly recommend and will return!

This property is lovely and boasts a rich history. The inside of the home provides a story about the house itself and the community. The deck offers stunning views of the area.
This was a great setting to honor my mom's birthplace (1929) and gain a deeper understanding of the context of Jerome. Thank you.

Once you get there its an awesome place with million dollar views. I would recommend driving a mid size car as the parking and road are very tight. Loved reading about History and restoration of the home!

This was a unique experience the place was amazing. The restoration was awesome, and it all the information that was left by the owner as to the building of the property and it’s history was great. I only wish there were copies made that guest could’ve taken home as there was a lot of reading.

The home was welcoming and serene. Just what we needed to escape the Chicago suburbs and Phoenix heat. Loved the location and views.

For 350 a night, the place should have a stove, a comfortable place to sit in the LR once back in from the patio and somewhere to hang your clothes.

The property is beautifully restored and love all of the history and information. It’s comfortable, the views are stunning, and it is better than described. We had such a lovely stay and cannot wait to return with friends from back home. Glenn provided great instructions, communication was sent in a timely manner and we knew he was a phone call away if needed. You won’t be disappointed. Thank you for sharing this property.

Rarely is there a chance to stay in a house with this much history and a million dollar view. We loved our stay and would highly recommend to anyone staying in the Jerome area.

Wonderful place that has been lovingly restored. It has all the amenities while using as many period pieces as possible. The owner was very access to answer any questions. Wish we had stayed longer.

The property was PERFECT for us! See the "likes" I've checked off. A word of caution: If you're the type that need room service and pay-per view movies, it's not for you. Also, be advised, Jerome is built on the side of a mountain, so, there's a lot of steps and inclines to go up and down, be honest with your fitness level, if you need a cane or walker to get around, you won't be happy. We're already looking forward to our next visit to the Riordan House! We felt right at home, even more than we expected! Glenn was the perfect host, great directions and great to chat with!

We LOVE this awesome unique house in Jerome! We've visited several times as a family, and have brought family and friends to experience Jerome with us as well. If you love character, a great patio, an awesome fire pit, and an amazing view- this is the place for you. Glenn is always so easy to communicate with as well:)

We appreciated the restoration of this charming home. Very detailed and nicely done. It is hard to realize by the pictures, the climb and road to get to the property. The view is spectacular, once you get there! Unfortunately, we hit some unseasonably cold weather, but were able to enjoy the deck and patio one afternoon. The town has very interesting history, charming shops, and the restaurants we visited were very good! Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. Thank you!

We enjoyed everything about our stay. The description was accurate, and the property was well stocked. The history was interesting, and well documented throughout the house. Would stay again when in Jerome.

We loved our stay in the lovely restored turn of the century home in historic Jerome. The space was plenty and the outdoor space was great for coffee on the deck in the mornings and night caps by the fire at night.

Views from the house are awesomely beautiful!! Gorgeous sunsets! House is of historical significance and has been painstakingly restored. We loved our stay!! Be ready for a lot of exercise! You have to take several flights of stairs down and back up to the Jerome downtown area. The road to the house is bumpy and small so driving down to town is a bit of an adventure! It’s hard to cook at the house. Only small portable electric stove units. There’s no working oven and no TV. But minor things when compared to the view and the beauty of the house. Bathroom is beautifully done and host is very communicative and helpful.

Been to Jerome many times, but this was the highest elevation for us. The view was magnificent, and liked the privacy as well. The other neat thing was staying in a renovated house that was one of the oldest in Jerome. The interior made you feel like you were back in time to the early 1900s.

Jerome has such amazing history, shops, wine tasting and food and such a unique place to visit. We stayed in the restored Riordan house with its collection of period furniture and antiues with the BEST vista overlooking the valley! We enjoyed the pictures and reading about the process to restore this home. This home was perfectly appointed with everything we needed to relax, unwind and recharge. Communication with host was easy and he always responded quickly. Highly recommend!

Adorable old house. The history is fascinating. You are nearly at the top of the mountain and the views are breathtaking. I could sit on the porch/deck for days. Getting to the house is an adventure of its own. But totally doable in my friends mid size suv. My suv was way too big so we just left it parked in town. Due to a family emergency we had to cut our trip short sadly. Wish we could’ve stayed longer. I am sure we will be back!

My husband and I stayed here for a wedding and the house exceeded my expectations. The pictures don’t do it justice. The view was absolutely beautiful, drinking coffee on the patio was so peaceful, sitting on the patio at night looking at the stars was magical, the house was so clean and tidy, and the decorations provided a piece of Jerome history. There was a lot of love that went into restoring this house.
We also left something behind and the host contacted us to see if he could send it to us which I thought was above and beyond. We would tell everyone we know to stay here when they visit Jerome!

We had one of the best weeks ever on vacation at the John Riordan property in Jerome. The moment we arrived we were greeted by a text from the owner, Glenn. He made sure we were settled in well and asked if we needed anything during our week long stay, such as a change of bedding/towels/cleaning. Glenn is an awesome owner and did a great job on the renovation of the house/property. We loved the history and character of the house! The views over Jerome and the Verde Valley are some of the most beautiful views we've ever seen. Sitting out at the fire was one of our favorite things to do! We definitely will be back. Thanks, Glenn!
