The view was awesome and location was great. Pool and hot tub were fantastic. The unit itself is run down with poor worn out furniture. A total of two butter knives with one being so bent it was unusable. a few forks and cheap spoons. Not a sharp knife in the place.

The location and views are outstanding! The unit was very clean but it definitely needs summer maintenance and updates.

The refrigerator was broken and after multiple calls to Vacasa, no one ever came to check it until after I checked out. We had to buy additional coolers and ice for 3 days since there was never a fridge for us to use at any point during our stay. There was also chewed up gum stuck to the wall by the bed. The towel rack had fallen out of the wall at some point, and instead of removing it and patching the walls, they just left giant holes in the wall.

This was a nightmare of a trip. We reached the property at around 5 pm. We have two small kids, and it was almost their dinner time. We tried to enter the house, no avail. None of the passcodes work. There were three lockboxes. Getting in touch with vacasa was a pain, and then finally somebody gave us the correct passcode. By this time it was 7 in the evening. Then the main door would not close. Also, there was no parking permit in the property, so I had to stay with the car in the parking lot to make sure that it is not towed. Somebody from vacasa came, gave us the parking permit late in the night, and the door situation was still unresolved. He said that the door locked, but there was no way to make sure that the door is indeed locked.
The apartment was a mess. The floors were dirty. The bathroom in the condo is a disaster. The toilet paper holder was broken. The sink does not drain well. The shower is a joke. The bed was not comfortable.
The worst thing about all of this was that Vacasa promised us a partial refund on our booking, and it has been a few months now, and I have still not received anything from them.
Very poor property and to top it off, very bad behavior from Vacasa. The whole thing was just ridiculous.

The shower door was not on track. Too much light in bedroom from light right outside the bedroom window. Needs curtains. No hot water in shower.

Location is killer. So close to the beach and right next door to Wanna Wanna beach bar. Would be nice to spend a few bucks and fix the tile and rotted trim in the bathroom, but overall it was clean enough and great for what we needed. Upstairs neighbors seemed to enjoy moving furniture in the middle of the night... but what can you do. I loved the old school, cozy island property.

Beach view was the only good thing. We couldn't take a shower with hot water( water was Luke warm) no clean linens or towels offered throughout stay. Had to go buy a mop and broom to sweep daily. And no toilet paper!! Not at all what I was expecting for the amount that we paid!!

I have stayed in this condo complex many times (my family used to own a unit there).
The condos are very small - yet perfect for a couple or a family with small children.
We arrived on Thursday and checked out on Sunday - never leaving the property during our stay.
The cons:
* Despite keeping the patio doors closed at all times - the air conditioner just could not keep up. Late evenings and especially at night the unit would get uncomfortably hot (we had the temp set at 70 and it was consistently 75 or higher inside).
* The TV in the living room worked on the first night. From then on - the channels would not change and the remote would not / did not work. We could only adjust the volume. (at least we were stuck on a good channel).
* The refrigerator is small - not a standard size. Since we brought our own food and cooked all of our meals - this was inconvenient.
* The couple staying in the unit next door to ours smoked pot the ENTIRE time we were there. Since I have a toddler - this prevented us from being able to enjoy the outdoor patio. (Not the condo owners fault, obviously - but this did affect our stay.
* The bathroom towels are thin and cheap. They were totally inadequate and we had to use our beach towels as bathroom towels. Also there was a sign in the lobby with information / time for swapping towels - but no one was ever available to swap them.
The Pros:
* The unit was clean and tidy.
* The furniture and beds were comfortable.
* The kitchen was well stocked with cooking essentials.
* The unit is literally steps from the beach - which is why we stay here.
We will definitely stay at this complex again and I would definitely consider renting this unit again.
I would absolutely recommend this unit to others.

This is the second time I've stayed at this property and it was better than the last time. Unfortunately it rained our while trip so we spent the week indoors. Kitchen has everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and the view of the gulf was awesome. Will stay in this location again.

The location for this property was great!! It needs a little bit of a facelift. Some painting in some areas and some attention to other items that very obviously need to be replaced in the unit. But it was very clean. Overall, the condo was very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. I only wish the weather had been better. We came during a very unusual storm front of high winds and a cold snap.

We had such a good time on our vacation. VACASA treated us so well. Any concerns we had they took care of it. I picked this location because of its access to the beach. There is no better view of the gulf possible. I loved every minute I was there. The price was great and it made my trip possible. I would definitely book here agine.

The unit was clean and perfect for our mini getaway. The views were amazing and made everything even better. While the unit was a bit outdated, it served its purpose and we have no complaints what so ever. Will def use again.

Property is in an amazing location and overlooks the beach. Beach access is within feet of the door. While condo is older, it IS clean and welcoming.
Our only hiccup was that it did not have extra linen or blankets for pull out sofa bed so we just bought those. Kitchen could use a few more utensils (only two table knives), Those are small issues in comparison to the wonderful location right on the beach’ We enjoyed our days here immensely!

We loved our stay and will definitely be back The sunrise on the beach was amaziiing to watch on our balcony (and it’s big enough for 1 person to do yoga on)! The beach access is unmatched by any other stay in SPI. It’s seriously only 25ish yards away from the beach! The security guard at night was very helpful and nice when we needed something our first night! The pool and hot tub looked refreshing, but we only did the beach!

The location is great. The pool and hot tub was great. The room wasn't super clean and had a weird smell. I couldn't tell if it was the cleaner that is used or if the room just had the funky smell normally. Parking is TIGHT with only one way in/out. We had a great time... And since we spent most of the time on the beach vs in the room will prob rent again.

Apartment was great with an amazing view and had everything you need! Nice, clean and good smelling! Kitchen was packed with all the appliances you need, pots, pans and silverware as well! Fast wifi, TV had whole bunch of apps such as YouTube, paramount, amazon prime, Netflix etc…Bed sheets in the bedroom were white and clean with no stains or anything like that! Thank you for keeping that apartment like that.
We didn’t want to leave but we’ll definitely come back soon!

Great location
The location is great. The pool and hot tub was great. The room wasn't super clean and had a weird smell. The window in the bedroom made it impossible to sleep because the light in the lobby lights up the entire room. You can hear everyone going through the lobby and the beds were uncomfortable. As far as condos go this was my least favorite I have rented.

It was not worth it.
The window in the bedroom made it impossible to sleep because the light in the lobby lights up the entire room. You can hear everyone going through the lobby and the beds were uncomfortable. As far as condos go this was my least favorite I have rented.

The frig reaked of fish and stunk the whole place every time we opened it. No hair dryer and not many kitchen supplies, no coffee or filters. Other than that, great beach access and location.

Unit #202 looks directly over the beach. Open the doors, sit on the couch whenever, and listen to the waves right there. Or, walk the 200’ out the bottom floor and you can be standing in the water.

Bad: The front door lock needs replacing. It's a cheap fix to a possible security/safety issue. Dining chairs, some screws sticking out, could scratch clothing or skin.

In October off season, twice in 6 days we had Texans playing very very loud music from big boom boxes which we could “enjoy” sitting on our balcony. Vacasa was the best mgt company we have ever encountered, very responsive. We loved it, but we enjoy places with a history.
