Wonderful house-worked great for all 9 of us. Loved the private access to the beach. We cooked all our meals at the house with no problems.

Everything was top notch, very clean, quiet and comfortable with room for our extended family. Full kitchen with everything you need. Just steps from the beach, with great ocean views from the patio. This was a great home in Brookings.
Please check the separate rental agreement the Property Management Company will send you. The Property Management did not provide access information prior to our arrival, and required that they meet us in person at the property for access. Not specified in the rental agreement is that the Property Management Company wanted the primary renter (VRBO profile the property was booked under) to be the first to arrive. We had extended family coming from different areas, all meeting in Brookings for the Thanksgiving Holiday. As I was the primary renter, the Property Management Company did not want to let the other family members into the property even though they arrived before me (I had an 8 hour drive and was delayed). The Property Management eventually relented and let the first to arrive into the property, but this was an unnecessary hassle.

The house was very beautiful, clean, and spacious. The windows in the living room provide amazing views of the beach and ocean. We enjoyed spending lots of time watching boats coming and going from port and even spotted a sea lion swimming. Bedrooms were comfortable and spacious. It was great to have private access down to the beach. Remember to bring a head lamp to navigate the steps at night. Great vacation spot and we hope to be back!

Four adults came to Brookings for a staff retreat and easy access to the Redwoods. Day Dreaming accommodated us very comfortably, each with our own bedroom. The beds were superb, the kitchen well stocked, the entire house was spotless, and the decor tasteful. We'd certainly stay here again.

We LOVED the view!! And it was SO sweet to have beach access! The kitchen was very well supplied. It was close to stores, yet it did not feel like you were in town. It was peaceful and comfortable. It was perfect for our group of 7 adults.
We were surprised that the separated bedroom/bathroom was not connected to the main house-not a big deal for us but for families with children it would be.
Also, the poles on the deck were quite wobbly-should be replaced (we were told about this).

Attention to detail and gorgeous home awaits you here. From the ocean views in the living room, kitchen and master bedroom to the steps to the beach. The patio with gas fireplace and jacuzzi overlooked the beach.
The waves crashing on the beach was the perfect backdrop.

We really enjoyed our stay! Nice to get away from the smoke in Medford. Plenty of room in the house to spread out. Loved the split king Tempurpedic mattress in the downstairs King bedroom.

The property is exactly as described and worked so well for us - 2 couples (supposed to be 3 but we had a last minute cancellation). Communication was prompt and check-in was a breeze. All if us agreed that it was the best stocked kitchen we’ve ever seen in a rental. You’ll want for nothing. The views were amazing and the marina a short walk away. We’d happily stay here again. 😊

Had an absolutely wonderful stay, especially since our family loves the ocean. Being able to sleep with the windows open and hearing the waves was better than any sound machine lulling you to sleep. The backyard was terrific for having meals and relaxing. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us.

The family had a great time. The beach house is very relaxing. The weather/temperature in Brookings is very cool so it makes for an awesome getaway from the summer heat. The stairs that access the beach make it very convenient to access anytime. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans and utensils. The furniture and beds are very comfortable. The beach house is decorated very well with inspirational messages throughout. Highly recommend!

Very comfortable and well appointed. My only complaint is having to climb stairs to reach a bathroom. Poor design having no restroom on the main floor. My old knees were unhappy.

The property is beautiful with a gorgeous view of the ocean. The beach is wonderful and everyone in the family enjoyed going down the access stairs and spending time down there. Home is beautiful, clean, and welcoming. The kitchen has every gadget, appliance, and utensil you could want or need. Bathrooms had shampoo, conditioner, and body wash available. So many amenities, couldn’t have asked for a better location.

We LOVE this house! Just finished our 4th time at Day Dreamin and will book it again. We were surprised by some amazing upgrades and remodel. The owners have such a wonderful attention to detail, and the house is always in excellent shape when we arrive. So thankful to find such a gem on the coast!

We have stayed in over a dozen properties over the last few years and this is by far our favorite. The pictures don’t do the views justice. The kitchen was very well stocked with appliances and cooking/bakeware to make for an easy stay. The bedrooms and beds were comfortable and there was an abundance of linens. Checkin was quick, tons of parking and a quiet neighborhood. I would recommend this property 100%!

Wonderful property! Beautiful oceanfront views, great location and well upkept with most any essential you could need (one suggestion, champagne flutes). Includes all the best amenities, once again, all well upkept -- hot tub, indoor gas fireplace, outdoor large gas firepit. Ultra soft towels too! I gave the 4-star for cleanliness only because of some dustiness, otherwise very clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit for a special 50th bday getaway. Thank you!

We have rented VRBO properties from coast to coast, including several other properties in Brookings, and the consensus is that this is our favorite, regardless of location. Worth every penny. The obvious superlative is the view of the Pacific. Absolutely stunning. That said, the house was the cleanest and best equipped that we have stayed in. Move-in ready, so to speak. We were also impressed with the care that was taken in the design and upkeep of the landscaping and the thought that was given to the layout of the outdoor spaces. Wish we had been able to stay another week and hope to do so in the near future.

The house was amazing! Beautifully decorated, every detail it was very thoughtfully considered. an amazing place to just hang around with friends, with a spectacular patio overlooking the ocean. And excellent access to the beach, by far the best house we have rented in Brookings. The host was amazing, and super responsive to any questions we had.

This place is so peaceful and truly a beautiful get away. It is fully stocked with anything you would need and is close to the grocery store, restaurants and beautiful places to see! Accurate to how it is pictured and could stay again!

Wow! The direct beach access and sandy beach make this a great place for kids to play in the ocean! At the end of August, the water here seemed slightly warmer than it does in northern Oregon. The kids (8 and 10 years) were able to enjoy playing in the surf for long hours with wet suits and life vests on. They also loved the game room. The hot tub and view from the deck made staying in the house while our 4 month old napped enjoyable, as well. :)
There were a few shops in town where the kids picked out candy, and we spent part of a day at Redwood State and National Parks, which were a short drive away. Overall, it was a lovely end to the summer!

We loved our stay in Brookings! The kitchen had everything we could think of. It was one of the cleanest places we've stayed. The beach access was perfect for us! We loved visiting in the hot tub and fire pit at night. The sunsets were incredible!

The house was super clean and views were amazing. Owners have made sure to create a relaxing and enjoyable environment. Was nice to be able to sit outside around the fire pit and listen to the ocean. Kids loved walking along the beach and seeing all the star fish and other sea creatures stuck on the rocks. Only slight critique I can have is for check in getting a tour. This is just a more personal preference of mine that I just arrive at the house and am able to unpack and relax. I understand the tour is also to make sure people know where stuff is and how to use various things. Not a huge issue but only criticism.
