Great location- Quiet street and only a 10 minute walk via sidewalks to town/ shopping district.
Very spacious house and fenced in yard- Our golden retriever couldn’t have been happier!
Perfect and thoughtful hosts- the house has everything you will need including towels by the door for wet dog feet in the event of rain!
We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Saugatuck!

Beautiful property, close enough to walk to downtown. We really enjoyed the screened porch. The front door lock was a bit temperamental and tricky to figure out but we got it eventually.

My family stayed in the starry night cottage for a wedding in Saugatuck this past weekend. We absolutely loved our stay! The cottage is much bigger than what the pictures imply. My favorite part was relaxing in the screened-in porch and seeing all the monarch butterflies flying around in the backyard full of beautiful wild flowers. It was in a very cute neighborhood right down the road from downtown Saugatuck. We plan on coming back next year! P.S. there is now a king bed in one of the rooms.

This cottage is even bigger and nicer than it looks in the pictures. We really enjoyed the spacious, fully equipped kitchen and the lovely screened-in back porch. The street is quiet and it's an easy walk to town.

Very clean, has everything you need, even extra paper towel, toilet paper, zip bags! This place was well equipped, nice yard for the little dogs and just a short walk to down town Saugatuck. Will stay again!

My friends and I had a wonderful time using the house for a wedding weekend. Clean, spacious, cute, and very close to downtown. Checkin and checkout processes were seamless with great communication from the host. Would love to come again and bring my fur baby next time as it is dog friendly :) thanks for a beautiful weekend!!

This is our second time staying here. Tracey is a great host! Check in instructions were very clear & easy. The space is even better than the pictures. It’s a nice big open floor plan. They also recently painted, updated one of the bathrooms and added a king size bed in the middle bedroom. The couches are comfy and so are the beds. The yard and screened in porch are great. The location is so close to coffee & restaurants and shops but away enough to relax in the peace and quiet. We were on the go too much to cook our own meals but everything you would need is there. The little touches are are so sweet, like a welcome sign and a bottle of local wine. Tracey is very responsive and accommodating. I will definitely check availability for this cottage any time we are back in town.

Tracey and Tim, Starry Night could not have been more perfect for our fall getaway with our dog. Each night, we walked to Saugatuck for dinner, which was closer than we expected, and our dog enjoyed the fenced-in yard in a wonderfully quiet neighborhood. My husband and I joked that whoever cleans Starry Night needs to come and clean ours because it was impeccable.

This rental made our week in the Saugatuck area so relaxing and pleasant. Everything about it was spot-on: clean, comfortable, well-appointed, and great location. It would be great for families although we came as a couple and loved having all the extra space. The screened-in porch was so nice for morning coffee or early evening Happy Hour. We explored from South Haven to north of Grand Haven throughout the week so the Saugatuck location was convenient. Also the rental is walking distance to downtown Saugatuck so no need to take a car there. I would definitely return to this rental and will be recommending it to my traveling friends! Thanks for a wonderful place to stay!

We have stayed in the Starry Night Cottage several times now, and it is always perfect! The home is located in a great area on a quiet street, within walking distance to all of the shops and restaurants of downtown Saugatuck. Tracey and Tim are wonderful owners, always thoughtful and very responsive. Can't wait to come back!

We had a great stay at Starry Night Cottage with our adult son and his girlfriend and their dog. The cottage is close to everything in town but away from the hustle and bustle, on a pleasant, tree-and-flower-filled residential street, which was exactly what we were looking for. There was plenty of room for us all to spread out and find some privacy if we needed it, while the screened porch provided the perfect space for relaxing, talking, reading, or drinking a morning coffee. We also appreciated the well-provided, large kitchen because we like to cook for ourselves most of the time. All in all, it met our expectations and then some.
Just a few small items on our wish list -- we wished there were a few hooks or towel bars in the larger bathroom. We also wished we could have used the picnic table outside, but there were too many weeds growing under and around it. Other than those items, the place was perfect.

This was the perfect rental for my family. Great location, super clean and well stocked. We loved the screened in porch and fenced back yard. Very quiet neighborhood and close to town, and Oval Beach. Host answered my questions, usually within an hour. Hope to return soon. I highly recommend.

Great time in a great place
Four adults and our 2 dogs stayed for 4 days in early October and it was wonderful. The house is spacious, very clean, and well stocked. The location is very good--in a quiet neighborhood with an easy walk to town. We liked the back screened porch for relaxing and the big kitchen table for most of our meals. It was very reasonably priced compared to many other places we looked at, and we were very pleased with our stay there. The only issue we had was trying to figure out the tv so we could watch baseball playoffs, but eventually we managed it. We would definitely stay there again. Thanks so much, Tracey!

Lovely Home Close to Town!
My family and I had a wonderful time staying here. It was our first visit to Saugatuck. This place if very clean, spacious, comfy, and the back screened-in patio was great, used it every night! Highly recommend staying. Tracey was in good communication with us and thanks for the wine!

The back porch was our spot for coffee in the morning and planning our day. The location was great, close to town but far enough away to enjoy quiet time.

This was our first visit to Saugatuck and we were looking for something close enough to town while also being a quiet escape from the city. Starry Night Cabin turned out to be a perfect choice and completely exceeded our expectations.
It's close enough to safely walk into town (maybe half a mile on sidewalks). But it's also just far enough away that you can sit on the screened in porch and listen to the birds singing all day. I really don't think the location could be any better.
The place itself is great. Plenty of space, modern amenities including fully stocked kitchen, AC, and washer & dryer. We were just a couple but this would definitely work for a larger family or small group.
Beds were comfortable and the bath towels were big, fluffy, and clean (it's a small but significant detail!) The yard was beautiful with all of the pretty flowers - we even spotted a baby bunny!
For me, the highlight was the screened in porch. It was so clean and very comfortable - great for a rainy afternoon or quiet morning.
Host communication was excellent and check in/check out was a breeze.
All in all a great trip and we would love to return!

Lovely getaway!
The property was very clean and the cottage was perfect for myself, my best friend and our two small pets. Tracey was very gracious in staying in contact before we left for Saugatuck. She provided us with everything we needed in terms of necessary supplies, i.e. dish liquid, toilet paper, Kleenex, etc. Even the kitchen, which was well equipped, had some basic pantry supplies. She also left detailed information on restaurants to dine at and provided all the info we needed to know about how to operate everything in the cottage. She is an excellent hostess. The cottage is situated on a quiet street with lovely houses around it. The walk into town took us less than 10 minutes.. The screened in porch was a very nice plus too. We had a very peaceful, relaxing girl's getaway. Saugatuck is a quaint town with good restaurants. We would also recommend visiting Douglas, which is just a short car ride away. There are some very good restaurants there and some interesting shops. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property. Thank-you Tracey for making this a very enjoyable time!

We loved everything about Starry Night Cottage! Tracey made check in super easy. The cottage was extremely clean and beautifully appointed. The yard and garden were charming and peaceful. We loved exploring Saugatuck and Holland. Tracey had detailed maps of the area on hand and communicated specific recommendations to me via text message. We had such a lovely and relaxing time that we extended our planned stay another day. We were sad to leave and hope to visit again before too long. Saugatuck is a special place and Starry Night Cottage is exactly the quiet, cosy home away from home we were looking for. Thank you so much for hosting us and the pooches. We all had a great time.
