This property is absolutely breathtaking every aspect of this property gives you the view of the breathtaking city of La Jolla and it beach. The property welcomes you to an amazing views of San Diego along with a beautiful firework show that is provided by courtesy of Sea World. You can take a short walk to the beach along with multiple mom and pop stores that cease to amaze you if you love Vietnamese food, there is amazing restaurants along the area on Garnet Street, so do I recommend this place absolutely in the evening we can pop open a bottle of wine and sit on the patio and indulge in the quiet, a beautiful breeze, that the ocean brings you right to the door steps of the property which has an amazing little fire pit that seals the deal.

Nicely remodeled 3bd/2bth that was 20 minutes from just about all of the major sights in town. Closer still to downtown La Jolla and Pacific Beach. This was a nice base of operation for a busy vacation and it still provided some nice relax and unwind vibes following action packed days. Would stay again. I docked it one star in cleanliness because the floors in the living area seemed to have some black soot from the fireplace that showed up immediately on our twin 1 year olds hands and knees. My guess is from wind coming through the fireplace. The rest was very clean and nicely updated.

After spending the day out and about, it felt great to come back and relax in such a nice home environment. The owners were responsive with our questions and helpful with restaurant recommendations, etc. The location was also close to everything we wanted to do. We would definitely stay here again!

La Jolla A-Mesa-ing
Renee is the consummate host and everything about her home is a reflection of this. The house is so well thought-out for guests, being appointed with more than just the essentials, comfortable furnishings and stunning views of the coast over a quiet neighbourhood. The Cove is a scenic 5 to 7 minute drive. Access to the I-5 is also only 5 minutes (for example, outside rush-hour, you can be at the zoo in 20 minutes, door to door). The short walk to the nearest beach (north end of PB) is along quiet and beautiful residential streets. Great host, great home, great location and if you book it, great choice!

The property was built in 1961 on the hill side in PB. The outside has not changed which makes it charming. However, the inside has totally been redesigned and remodeled very nicely. The View is priceless.

Incredible Sunshine Home
My roommate and I (both late 20s working professionals) lived at this house for 6 weeks while working remotely in 2021 and absolutely adored this house. The view is stunning, and the outdoor sitting area off the kitchen is so peaceful and perfect for lounging. The house is not large, but the high ceilings make it feel super spacious. The host was generous and highly responsive, and everything about the property was better than we expected. Modern, nice appliances. Clean and white. Great grill and bikes /beach toys accessible. We both worked from home during the day and did the quick drive to PB, Tourmaline, or La Jolla Shores beach to surf. Amazing spot!

My husband and I came from AZ to escape the heat and still be able to WFH. It was perfect! Renee even brought me a table/desk so I set up one of the bedrooms as my office. The view from outside is amazing! We sat in the great yard whenever we weren’t working. The only thing different from the pictures is the master bath which has been totally redone. Such a Gem!
My family absolutely loved their stay at Renee's property. The house was spotless, the views were stunning, and our overall stay was wonderful. It was very comfortable for 6 adults (+ 1 infant). I highly recommend!

Can’t wait to go back!
We rented Renee’s house with some friends. Everybody loved it, my two years old didn’t want to go back home. The house is a little gem, the view is breathtaking and the beach is 5mn car ride away. Renee was great to communicate with. As I said at the beginning can’t wait to go back.

Beautiful La Jolla home
For the past 3 years we have been renting in San Diego over July 4th and this was our favorite place. There was plenty of room for 6 of us without feeling like we were on top of each other! Check in and everything else was very easy and Renee was very responsive when we needed her. I would definitely stay there again!

6 of us stayed at the house for my nieces High School Graduation. The house was very spacious and comfortable for all. Location was perfect for us and the view was awesome! We very much enjoyed our stay and Renee answered all questions and was readily available when we needed something. I 💕�this place and would absolutely stay again.

Spring vacation 2019
We couldn't have enjoyed our stay here more. Not only was the house clean and comfortable, it had all the amenities we ended up needing. Not to mention, the view and location are spectacular. The furniture and beds are very clean and comfortable Renee was super easy to communicate with and very informative. We would recommend this place to others and definitely book again for ourselves.

Thanksgiving holiday
This property worked great for our family of 5. The open space was wonderful for everyone to hang our together. The large kitchen was great for preparing a Thanksgiving meal. The view from the deck overlooking San Diego and the area was incredible.
The outside was functional, but a little run down-it did not stop us from enjoying the view.
Renee was very prompt in addressing any issues and questions.

Spectacular view and great place
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The view of mission bay and San Diego is wonderful. The house is quite comfortable. The kitchen has everything we could ask for to cook our own meals. We loved our stay and would go back in a heart beat.

View from the La Jolla hills= amazing!
Don't let the 60's look on the outside fool you- this house in the hills overlooking Mission Bay and beyond is light, bright and modern. The kitchen and front room was a spacious and comfortable area. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms were also stylishly redone.
We would come back here again for certain!

This is the place to stay!!
My family and really enjoyed our vacation in San Diego. It was even more special being able to stay in this wonderful home together. It was very clean and updated, kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable, and the view was amazing. The neighborhood was quite, and the house was located very close to the beach, stores, and restaurants. The owner was delightful and very responsive to our questions and requests. I definitely recommend this home for you next trip to San Diego.

A vintage modernized San Diego home with an airy and peaceful feel.
Our family came for a wedding with three generations sharing this small but spacious home on a hill overlooking San Diego. It is close enough to all the sites and far enough to feel like you can refresh and relax after a busy day. The kitchen and baths were stocked with the every day needs of any household. And there’s a Trader Joe’s nearby for resupply and wine for the wine fridge. The toddlers were able to romp around without concern and La Jolla cove was also close enough so they could enjoy the magic of the ocean, seals and all. If I return to San Diego I will come back to this house but make sure the smallest bedroom and bed is assigned to the kids, if they’re old enough. Great kitchen to cook in if you want to save by eating in.

Perfect retreat up on a hill in a quiet neighborhood
We really enjoyed our stay and Renee was wonderful to work with. The house was perfect for our group and had everything we needed. Loved the location and the views were spectacular. The only complaint I would have is the bed in the master bedroom was a rock and the pillows weren't good either. :(

a week vacation in this perfect house. The house definitely lived up to all the positive reviews! The views are incredible and the neighborhood so quiet and relaxing yet close to so many great areas. The House was so clean and exactly like the pictures show! Beds were terrific and kitchen had everything you needed! We felt right at home here! You can’t go wrong with this gem!

Great place overlooking PB
Great little house overlooking PB. Sitting area outside is wonderful and the bikes make it easy to cruise to the beach or to grab some food. Located in a quite neighborhood so great for some rest and relaxation.

Great family vacation!
Our family stayed during the second week of August. The house was very clean, nicely decorated, and had everything you needed! It is located higher up and has an amazing view; perfect for sitting out and enjoying coffee in the morning, glass of wine in the evening. It is a nice, quiet neighborhood. Our teenagers enjoyed riding the bikes down to the beach/boardwalk. There you can find plenty of things to do... restaurants, shopping, surfing, amusement park. The owner, Renee was very helpful and responsive to questions, along with great dining recommendations. Wonderful family vacation.

Great location with awesome views!
House was nice. Spectacular views in the evening as the sun sets and the city lights come on. Renee was awesome! The master bed is a rock though! Other than that the property is great!!
