The property was just as advertised. The condo unit is wonderfully decorated, comfy and well stocked and organized with everything we needed. We sat every evening on the porch overlooking the mountains and the pool, hot tub area. The hot tub was amazing after averaging 8-10 miles of hiking each day. We rented E-bikes for a day and biked the river trail and stopped by a few breweries. Durango did not disappoint. Downtown Durango was a fun adventure each night. Can’t wait to come back.

Beautiful area, great visit. Arrived on Sat no answer on weekend number, took hours to get a response for the code. Got the arrival email Monday morning..

We stayed at the Ferringway 18.
This place is horrible. If you want a reasonable mattress on your trip this is not the place for you.
1. In all my life I have never experienced this bad a bed. My husband gave up and slept in the bottom bunk with our kid. A simple replacement of a terrible old mattress would have made our trip fine but a week of poor sleep sucked.
2. The structure on the old dining Charles was completely broken so when we sat for meals we were sinking through the chair cushions.
3. 2 out of 4 burners were broken on stove
4. I get that you don’t want to leave lots of tp and garbage bags but really, 2 garbage bags and 2 rolls of TP for 5 people for an entire week. We really enjoyed an extra trip to the grocery store for this!
5. No key for the pool after a 7+ hour drive to arrive.

Overall this rental was vaguely dirty, out of date and in desperate need of new beds. The mattresses must be 30 years old they were so sunken and made sleep nearly impossible. It also seemed like there was a cockroach issue that had been treated mostly successfully except for the stragglers who were dying during our stay around the bathrooms. A strong light shines into both bedrooms from the parking lot and the curtains/blinds situation is a joke. The last weird thing was that we were expected to wash the towels at the rental.
The only positive for my family was that it was all on one level no stairs. I would not stay at this location again nor would I recommend.

We came for the high school mountain biking state championship and this was a great location. Only 7 minutes away from our venue. Comfortable and clean. It had everything we needed.

Clean and orderly. Kitchen was well stocked and plates/flatware cooking supplies were pleasing. Small pleasantries could be found throughout. Super inviting.
There were a number of stairs to the front door, but with assistance my 87 year old grandmother was able to navigate. She felt super comfortable and it was far better than a hotel in town.

Unfortunately, our condo wasn't as clean as I would have liked.., dusty, rug needed cleaning. And there were too many throw rugs , too many tchotchkies collecting dust, no "easy open" wine opener (a must!). But the location keeps us coming back, the maintenance guy was great, my grandson loved the pool and Durango is a wonderful little town to spend time in.

We've stayed at The Ferringway many times before.... location couldn't be better.Parking is easy, but you've got to be able to get up and down stairs, cause there are lots of them!

Overall a good condo to rent for the price. I would recommend they upgrade the mattress in the master and the bunk beds as they were very uncomfortable.
