FIRST IMPRESSIONS: The property was cute and roomy enough for 2 adults or 2 couples with one master bedroom suite upstairs and another bedroom with bath on the first floor. The kitchen was well appointed with utensils & pots & pans etc.
Great location amidst trees, quiet neighborhood, nice walking paths near property, nice proximity to local attractions

Things for management to note:
*towels are threadbare and need to be replaced
*spent the first 1/2 hour cleaning, wiping off kitchen counters (sticky), dusting bedrooms - very thick dust on headboard & lamps and wiping down bathroom sinks
*cobwebs so bad between the window & screens we did not open bedroom windows. Would have been nice to sleep with windows open!
* loved having screened in porch AFTER WE SWEPT it off & washed off the coffee table
*when took off sheets/pillowcases at the end of our stay, the mattress pads & pillows were terribly stained
Just a few changes and it could go from 3-star to a 5-star rating.

We enjoyed our stay in the Galena Territory and the rental was perfect for a weekend getaway. The layout with one bedroom/bathroom upstairs and me bedroom/bathroom on the main level was convenient. We really enjoyed the screened in porch. Our only complaint would be needing some new bathroom towels. Would definitely stay here again!

Nice accommodations for our sister's getaway weekend in Galena. The 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom house was perfect size for us. It's about a 15-minute drive into Galena and was close to the Eagle Ridge Resort, walking trails, golf courses, owners club with pool and fitness center, etc. Didn't use the screened in porch as much as we would've liked to with the August heat wave.

Quiet location close to hiking trails. Passes to enter the marina for kayaking and pickle ball were easy to use. 2 bedrooms & 2 baths were both good sizes.

The cabin was perfect for what we wanted. The inside of the cabin was very nice and clean. The screened in porch could have been cleaner and the outside grill needs to be replaced. We loved the pool and downtown Galena was to Quaint. Over all we had a great weekend.

Great location to Galena. Accommodations were comfortable for 2 couples. Unfortunately a screen was missing from the upstairs bedroom window, so the window wasn’t able to be open. Upstairs bedroom seemed warm compared to downstairs. Some cobwebs were seen in window corners and wall corners. Window sills were pretty dirty. Outside deck table was in need of painting. If you can see past these “issues”, everything else was wonderful. Check in was super easy, used the code sent and went right in. We didn’t use any of the amenities (pool, gym, etc) so I can’t comment on those.

Home was as described, clean, just lovely!!! We loved the screened porch for our morning coffee and reading. Bed was comfortable, kitchen well-stocked...we lacked nothing. THANK YOU!!

Really charming little house in the woods. Stayed here for my brother’s Galena wedding. It was a nice location. The Galena territory is HUUUGE.

Only gripe was that the towels seemed really old. Clean, but old. New ones would be highly recommended. Or bring your own.

The upstairs bedroom and bath have been updated.
The table and chairs on the deck could use some attention.
The front screen door and screen door from the porch to the deck could be replaced.
Jo was very prompt and attentive to my concern.
She promptly answered the phone and immediately addressed my concern.
My husband and I really enjoyed the screened porch. It was perfect for reading and listening to the many birds that were in the wooded area of the backyard.

We stayed for a weekend at this cute house in Eagle Ridge. It’s close enough to everything and still quiet. We plan to stay again next year.

A spacious, well-lit place to enjoy while in the Galena area. A well-appointed kitchen and plenty of comfy seating throughout. The place was clean and no obvious issues. The shower curtain liner in each bathroom and bath towels could probably be replaced, but otherwise, everthing was fine.

This property was exceptional and we enjoyed our entire four-day weekend. Very clean property and nice privacy. We really enjoyed the natural wood fireplace. Definitely a five star stay.

We really enjoyed this property for our family of 4 for a quick getaway. Very clean, plenty of room, comfortable beds. We really love all of the outdoor hiking and walking available in Galena, including ample walking paths right outside the front door of the property. Our 5 year old enjoyed playing in the yard and woods behind the house. Great stay! We will be back soon.

My husband and i enjoyed staying in this cabin. Kitchen is very well equipped. Loved the location. Only thing they did not have in the cabin that would have been nice was an iron & ironing board. We will definitely stay here again.

Loved it. I would come back to this same house again. It was absolutely beautiful. I've visted Eagle Ridge countless times in the past but this property is my favorite so far. Look forward to more great experiences with VRBO.

As it says in the title the photos don't do this place justice. VERY cute cabin perfect for a weekend getaway for two, could have fit 4 no problem. We loved reading by the fire and enjoying everything the Galena territory has to offer.

Went to Galena for three nights to enjoy the Luminaries and living windows in Galena, We always stay in the Galena Territory as it is not too far from Galena and it is quite scenic. Property was well suited for two couples with two bedrooms including one on each floor. Property was clean and had everything we needed.

We have been to this property 3 times and will definitely return. The house has just been updated and is beautiful. Comfortable living room furniture, well stock kitchen etc. The location is quiet. We enjoyed watching turkeys walking through the yard.

This exact property had water damage but Jolene quickly rebooked us to a beautiful home in the same Galena area. The home was clean and well taken care. It was right on the golf course with a walking path out back. A friend and I had a wonderful few days.
