We loved this place! It was superclean, big and well equipped. Karl is an outstanding host: caring, generous and kind. There are a lot to appreciate about this condo. The location is amazing - the beach is literally across the street. There are plenty of towels, beach toys, chairs, etc. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything you may ever need inclusive of spices. We stayed for a month and enjoyed every single day there. We are planning to come back for sure. Thank you, Karl!

This was the the most pleasant and enjoyable renting experience we’ve ever had! Whether it’s been with VRBO, rental agencies or whatever the case, Karl was an absolutely exceptional host!!! The condo was amazing with the water view and short walk to the beach! Everything we could imagine was there for our stay, and even a few unexpected gifts along the way! Thanks again for those Karl!!! We will remember this vacation forever and will hopefully be back in the very near future!!!

I can not say enough about this place! Beautiful, great location, everything we needed and more. Easy access to the beach, food and places to shop. Owner was AMAZING! We had all information well ahead of arriving. We had a gift waiting for us in the fridge. A yummy cake. He messaged several times asking if we needed anything or had any issues with the place. We did not. He even gave us a parting gift before we left. WILL STAY AGAIN!

Just loved this place ! It was just as the pictures stated. Comfortable beds, clean with everything you could ask for during your stay. Favorite place was the covered lanai. So peaceful sitting there just watching the lightning show while the rain came down. Was just what we were looking for and not too far from the things you would need. Would definately stay here again. Karl was the most thoughtful owner we have come across. He aims to please. Mission accomplished!

The location of this property was absolutely perfect. It's got a longer driveway which we liked, so we felt kind of hidden from the main road. Also, the location is one of few quiet portions of Golf Blvd, which made us feel more at home and not just tourists... and the beach access was almost right across the street, which was great. The view from the patio was beautiful! There is a private pier where we saw manatees and sting rays while watching the sunrise. Karl has everything you could possibly need for cooking, sleeping, and going to the beach. The unit was super clean, and actually Karl messaged us as soon as the cleaning crew left, allowing us to access the unit early! My communication with Karl (the host) was top notch. He messaged me periodically to make sure things were going smoothly, and I really appreciated him being so attentive. I couldn't have asked for a better property host for our vacation. If I had it my way, I'd return here every year. Thank you so much for everything during our stay. I would recommend you 100 times over!

The view from intercostal was beautiful as we saw dolphins and a manatee. Everything was great from start to finish. Pool was great and the beach was right across the road. The owner was great to work with and we are looking to book for next year only for a longer period of time.

We were two widows looking for an escape from winter. We found it in Indian Shores. The condo was clean and well stocked with towels, beach chairs and just about anything you might need. The host was fantastic, answered any questions very promptly and reached out to us even when we had no questions/problems. He left a Key Lime pie for us and a gift.

Karl was an amazing host: super helpful and responsive with any questions and the condo was impressively clean. It’s quite a large comfortable space with all the amenities you want on vacation. The beds were comfy and we loved looking out on the waterway everyday. The gorgeous beach is just a short walk away and such a family friendly beach with incredible soft white sand. The surrounding areas are awesome to explore- we loved everything and didn’t want to leave. Karl really takes care of his guests and treated us like family. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Captains Cove this summer! We found the rental to be pristine in every way!! Communication with the owner was just over the top! It was one our best stays yet at the Shores and this was our best rental yet! We’ve been coming down the area for 6 years now!! Will definitely be back!!

This place was super clean perfect all the way around. Short walk across the street to the ocean. Restaurants Ice cream shops In walking distance. This condo had everything u could possibly need from beach chairs to fishing poles and a amazing doc to watch boats. Karl was the best he Checked On us during our stay and even left us the cutest picture frame not to mention a delicious cake he left us in the fridge and the kids a big box of chips which they loved. I definitely recommend this place. Great price, great location, and great owner. We already can’t wait to go back!

Perfectly detailed

With a private pool, a dock on the intercoastal waterway where dolphin play and manatee grave and the ocean/beach just across an easily passable street, it is prime!
The condo is well stocked with everything you could possibly need from dishes to beach items. The furniture and beds are so comfortable!
We didn't even rent a car. We rode the trolley that picks up and drops off just out front of the condo up and down Gulf Blvd from Clearwater to John's Pass. A few times we even Ubered.
The neighbors are all friendly. The area is very relaxing and peaceful, just a great place to decompress. Yet, if you are up for an adventure or a night out, it's all within a 20 min ride.
Karl was so kind, he left us Florida's own Key Lime pie and a gift card for Mother's Day to a local (fabulous) restaurant Salt Rock Grill. I highly recommend this restaurant!
We couldn't have had a better time! When we return, we will be coming right back to Captain's Cove!

This was my first experience using Vrbo and getting a condo instead of a hotel. And it was an amazing experience. I will do this every time. The condo was beautiful and roomy. Karl was so kind and thoughtful. Beautiful area.

This property is an ideal location central to Indian shores. It is well equipped with all kitchen needs. The furniture is comfortable. The pool was warm and has a bathroom close if needed. Great host who made sure we were ok during the stay but not intrusive. Plenty of beach towels and chairs and umbrellas for fun at the beach. The beds were comfortable. There are restaurants close by and beach access was about a three-minute walk. I can't say enough about the location being great.

Best kept secret

Indian Shores
We had such a great time. The condo was very clean and was stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The beach is just across the street and there’s a Walmart about 10-15 minutes. The view is beautiful. Karl left us a delicious treat when we arrived and checked up on us throughout our stay. We had such a lovely time and can’t wait to come back. Thank you Karl.
