We traveled from WA to explore the history of the bitterroot. We had a fabulous adventure in the valley with stunning vistas and beautiful open sky each day. Had a unexpected encounter while touring the grounds of the Daly mansion. Mama bear and cub. Sent us quickly scrambling back to our car. The cub was exploring while mama watched from the treetop. We eventually made it up the driveway to the house. But we had a spotter on duty. Wine and appetizers at Blodgetts wine bar was great fun and took time to see the back country falls between Anaconda and Hamilton. Our host Craig was fabulous. Provided all the items for a wonderful breakfast and the loft is just as described. Ambience takes you back to the turn of the century and even a few surprises in the restored brothel. The adventure began and ended with great memories of Hamilton. Thank you.

Craig was awesome....met us there and showed us around. The apt. is exactly as described....the patio is great. All utensils we needed to make dinner was available. Craig had enough food left for us for a breakfast meal the next morning. Safeway is right across the street. Apartment right on Main street....steps are steep, in case you have trouble climbing a lot of steps. We already booked for next year.

Great place to stay from the accommodations, the location, the rooftop access, and the history of the building!! All made for a great stay!! The biggest plus was getting to meet the owner and hear more about the area!! Highly Recommend!!

Non-contact checkins have become the norm and we appreciate them...however Craig's warm welcome complete with humorous anecdotes about the history of this apartment he personally renovated was a highlight of our stay! The apartment is spacious, comfortable, extremely well stocked, and every few minutes one sees another interesting/humorous piece of decor. Located in downtown Hamilton on the 50 mile Bitterroot Bike trail, walkable to many fine eating and drinking establishments and easy access to Bitterroot Mountain's hiking and back packing. A place that is hard to leave and requires return visits!

I want to start by saying Craig has mastered the small details that make a vacation easier. From the live flowers on the table to ice cream in the fridge Craig nailed it. Location good for hiking. We did have a bit of a drive to get to Glacier but we worked with it. The apartment clean and well furnished. I was concerned about noise and there wasn’t any. I would just let you know if going in summer months the portable AC does create white noise but you get used to it.

The property is in a great location when visiting Hamilton. Many shops and restaurants are in walking distance. The property is spacious and clean with modern updates to compliment the history and charm when you are back from exploring the Bitterroot. Craig was very welcoming and responsive. We really enjoyed the outdoor deck spaces too. I would recommend staying here.

We needed a place stay for a week during my nieces wedding here Hamilton. We traveled from Florida for the wedding. We loved staying here for our trip. It is directly above the wine bar on Main Street but you hear no noise from below and the place is very quiet. There is a Safeway grocery store across the street, and plenty of local restaurants within walking distance. There are also plenty of activities to do, the Saturday farmers market, the Sapphire gem mining in Philsberg and the hiking at Lake Cove we're all great, just to name few activities. We will stay here again.

We’ve stayed here four or five times and always enjoy our home away from home in Hamilton. The apartment is beautiful, pretty large and comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked and some breakfast items are in the fridge. It’s downtown Hamilton by shopping, restaurants and a grocery is across the street. There’s parking in front of the building. Craig is a great host and is readily available for questions and suggestions.

Craig and Patty have renovated this historic property beautifully! Appointed with a chef's kitchen and two comfortable bedrooms, this property is a home away from home for us. The extras provided include snacks and a fully stocked refrigerator, making it easy to retire after travel without having to worry about groceries. WiFi is available as well as streaming service on the TV. Everything we needed was already there! Enjoy quaint downtown Hamilton by walking everywhere. Highly renowned 2nd Street Sushi and A Thaiger Thai restaurant are our personal favorites for dinner. Breakfast is just a few blocks walk at River Rising. And Westslope Distillery just around the corner offers unique and delicious aperitif! Highly recommend staying at Scandia House Loft for long or short stays. Don't make it too short because you won't want to leave.

Craig is a fabulous host. This property is amazing. The photos do not do it justice. Great downtown location but very quiet. Craig has thought of everything from decor, comfort, coziness and even a stocked refrigerator for your first mornings breakfast. You may not want to leave! I know we can’t wait to return! This is our second time staying here and it was just as amazing as the last time. Craig cares for his guests and it shows in the details. The property is above a great wine bar with tons of history. I highly recommend this property.

Craig is the most amazing host we’ve ever encountered! Everything listed is 100% accurate plus more. The refrigerator was stocked with a lot of options for snacks and breakfast, chocolate treats in bowls in several rooms, the art is incredible and so much fun to look at, the wine tasting bar downstairs a lot of fun as well, the beds were very comfortable and allowed for a great sleep at night. We can’t wait to comeback to this beautiful place and area!

The location was perfect. Our host had thought of everything including all breakfast food you can imagine. Candy dishes were full and cold water in the Frig were extra good! We absolutely loved it and would highly recommend it!!
