Oh My where to begin! I could have left a beautiful review of Sherri before we even went on our trip! She's beyond a Super Host! She made sure from the start that we knew everything that we needed before going. The Cabin was perfectly described and our family of 9 adults & Grandkids 6 & 8 fit perfectly, it sleeps up to 15. It's very cozy and has so many beautiful touches. The Arcade games, indoor Jacuzzi and self playing Piano were among the favorites. The home is so unique a Castle like a Disney Movie (which they also have all of those to watch) The nicest part was that even though we were there the second week in Jan. weather was perfect, but very cold at night and the 3 levels stayed very warm our entire stay, we actually kept the thermostat at 67 most of the time. The property is beautiful & has the perfect sledding area. Amazing views all the way to Catalina. We will definitely hope to go back in Late Spring or Summer. We as a family have stayed in many VRBO's over the years & this is one of our new favorites. Sherri truly went above, left treats for us & the kids! So we returned the gesture to her. I hope that my review will help the next lucky group that get to stay in this charming castle:)

Highly recommend!!! This lovely family home just what we were looking for! Great location with a beautiful view to loose your self from the reality of daily living !!!! The house was well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Beds were comfortable: (Bonk beds preferably only for smaller “people”). Excellent communication from the hostess herself: very resourceful! Fun game room and lots of fun activities for the kids. It was even more fun because it snowed while we were there! Easy check in and check out information.

The outside of the house is gorgeous and the view from the patio is one of a kind. My family and I had a restful weekend. Everything was as described and Sherri was very attentive and helpful. It was nice having the hot tub inside so those that didn’t want to get in could still enjoy everyone’s company.

This castle-like, three-level home has amazing views, set amidst the pines, with plenty of comfortable beds, games for the kids, a player piano, and a spa. It looks as though it once had a watery moat around it. Our host was wonderfully kind and attentive. She has little signs about the house to let you know its quirks.

This house was awesome, there were different levels and nooks and crannies everywhere that reminded us of something out of Harry Potter. There is a huge deck with an amazing view and the game room keeps noises quiet from the rest of the house. Sherri was amazing and you can’t ask for a better host. Buy the insurance if anything for the carpet, it’s everywhere and with the kiddos there are sure to be accidents. Great stay!!

This was our second time staying in this amazing place. We've had such an great time we're coming back in a month. The views are breathtaking and the property is beautiful. The kids and adults alike have so much fun sledding on property that we have no reason to leave. Sherri has always been so sweet and accommodating. This is becoming a family tradition we all enjoy and is making lasting memories.

You know how when you plan a trip and daydream about what it is going to be like and build up all these expectations in your head? Then you get there only to be disappointed. Well, this is not that place. Everything met or exceeded my wildest imagination.
This was my first time renting on Vrbo (or any other site for that matter) and I can say all future rentals will have some pretty big shoes to fill. Sherri was very pleasant to work with. Communication was top notch. The property was gorgeous. Great views all around with lots of picture taking opportunities.
The ability to step out the front door and go sledding down the driveway was probably the biggest perk. I chose this property specifically because of that. We did not have to pack up the cars, drive somewhere and pay an hourly rate to have some recreational fun in the snow. You can also just take a nice long walk all around the huge outdoor area of the property.
This place has a nice, big comfy couch in the living room and a pretty much fully stocked kitchen. plenty of plates, silverware, pots, pans etc. Also, the seat warmers on the toilets were a nice touch!
The game room was cool. My brother and I (dudes in our 40s) probably used it the most. Lots of retro games from the 80s. to choose from. We spent a fair amount of time battling on Street Fighter 2. And of course having a spa to soak in after a day of going up and the long driveways sledding to our hearts content was a great way to end each day.
Words can't describe this place enough. The pictures don't do it justice either. You have to see it to experience it. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and would definitely go again. Thank you Sherri for sharing your place with us. Everyone had a great time.

We had a great stay at Nob hill cabin. There was plenty of beds, lots to do in the home. Even though we couldn’t go outside much, because it rained the whole time we were there. The outside of the property is gorgeous!

Our family rented the property for thanksgiving, and we had the best time! Sherri made sure we knew where all the cooking things could be found, how to operate specific machines and answered all of our questions promptly! She also knew we had a few youngsters in our group, and she put a “Turkey Cookie Decorating Kit” on the table for the kids to do- and they DID! Just the little things that made our visit from great to amazing. :) We were trusted with a great home for a vacation and we are so grateful! We will be back!

First of all communication was great, from booking to end of trip Sherri was always available and she was very sweet and helpful. Second we all love the views specially at night, it was so beautiful we took great pictures and enjoyed watching the sunset. All 15 of us enjoyed the house it had everything we needed, the kids had lots of fun with the games and some of us got to enjoyed the jacuzzi, overall we had a great time and the kids want to go back for winter to play with snow, so we definitely recommend it to everyone and if possible we wish to come back, Thank you Sherri for having us and sharing your place with us, Blessings!

My family and I really enjoyed staying at this beautiful house/cabin. While it had the modern convenience of WiFi and streaming services, there were nostalgic touches like TVs with VCRs (the owner has lots of VHS tapes for you to use, as well as DVDs) and pac-man and other arcade games (quarters are provided). The view from the deck is amazing and you even have views from the indoor jacuzzi. While there are neighbors on each side of the property, you’re really not aware of them because of how the house is situated. We enjoyed lots of nearby activities including hiking, walking, and swimming at Lake Gregory. The owner has done a great job of anticipating what guests might need. As an example, there was a parking pass for guest use for the San Bernardino National Forest, so we didn’t have to buy one. I definitely hope to visit again in the future and would highly recommend this property. While there is no air conditioning, as other reviewers have mentioned, we opened all the windows as soon as we arrived and there was a nice breeze the whole time, additionally there are fans throughout the house for guest use.

We couldn't have planned it any better. We stayed March 4-7,2022 and t started snowing the minute we got there. It snowed all afternoon Friday thru Saturday. The kids had a great time sledding. The property has several small slopes for the kid's. Overall, we loved it!

In general everything is fine, although because of the snow it is difficult to get in the truck to the garage, chains are required.
The cabin is spectacular, it is very large and the gardens and terraces with great views.

The location is ideal as you are only 4 miles from Santa's Village, about 7 miles from Lake Arrowhead, and maybe 25 min from Big Bear. Sherri, the owner, was very warm and welcoming, and super responsive whenever we needed something or had a question. The cabin had everything we needed, so we didn't need to bring much. Weather scary- VRBO home-excellent!
Owner very accommodating, friendly and accessible👍Our only ( but major) issue is the winds were horrific and electricity was off for 24 hrs. It made our stay very disjointed. Most folks left 1-2 days early. Heated our Thanksgiving dinner on the gas grill outside. It made for lots of stories I must say😆.

Sixteen of us, equal parts kids and adults, met at this house in the mountains near Running Springs for a full week reunion. Sherri was helpful in explaining how the house would accommodate a group this large, and went as far as assembling an infant gate at the top of the stairs ready for our arrival. There were ample beds, sheets, towels, etc....really everything needed was there in abundance. Throughout our stay Sherri was accessible by phone, text, and email. In a house this large, inevitably questions arise from someone in the party about where this or that can be found, and Sherri was quick to provide an answer. There were two days of telephone pole upgrading on the street which resulted in significant power outages, but Sherri was in constant communication about this and helpful as we navigated part of two days without power. She provided a partial refund for the inconvenience, which was a fair and flexible outcome. Our stay was in the height of summer, which meant that a couple days got fairly hot. It was easy to navigate the heat given plenty of shade on the property, plenty of fans in the house, a spectacular cool breeze coming up the hill directly onto the house, and a variety of fun things to do nearby. Our only recommendation would be to have a couple box fans on the premises for those particularly hot evenings when cooling down the house takes an extra measure of fan power. We had a delightful stay at the house, this kids really enjoyed all the space to play, climbing the rocks around the property, the treehouse, arcade games, and assorted puzzles, books, toys, and games well placed throughout the house. The kitchen was well outfitted with what you'd expect in a house this size--there was plenty of equipment for meal prep and meal time. Finally, I always like a place where the dishwasher and washing machine can do a great job taking care of all sixteen of my extended family for an entire week! Big thank you to Sherri for taking such good care of us and providing the house for our getaway!
