A beautiful and clean cabin! It was perfect for our trip to Acadia and we enjoyed our stay. The cabin had everything you needed for an trip away!

If we could rate this place higher than five stars, we would. Extremely clean, thoughtful touches, and everything you could need all in an adorable cabin with a lovely view. Highly recommend and would love to stay here again!

We stayed here for just about a week with our dog and had the time of our lives! It's within 20 minutes of everything you could possibly need. We parked in Acadia and did the hike from Beech Hill to Echo Lake and back up again. It was beautiful! We had a small bonfire our second night and Dave came over and introduced himself. He's a down-to-earth guy. I can't get over how accomodating and clean the property is. We booked our trip for next year before we left, and we already can't wait!

Very nice cabin within a few miles of the NP and Bar Harbor. Cabin has all the essentials needed for a wonderful vacation. Saw several deer on the property including a nice buck. We would definitely stay there again.

This modernized log cabin is in a perfect location on the quiet side of mount desert island. Only a short drive to Acadia trailheads and features and longer but doable 20 minutes from Bar Harbor. It was very quiet, well equipped and clean. The hosts were very accommodating and responsive.

The owners were great to work with and have setup the cabin with everything we needed. All we needed was to buy food I highly recommend this rental and it will be our first choice when we plan our next visit to Acadia.

This was a great little cabin in Acadia, and a perfect launching point for all of our adventures. Away from the crowds in Bar Harbor, but convenient to everything. The setting was great. The place was well appointed, and extremely clean and cozy, including welcoming flowers. Hosts were so easy to work with. Would recommend this to anyone!!

This was the perfect getaway! We love this cabin and the hosts Meg and Dave were incredible. The cabin is charming and very clean. It is well stocked and sits on a beautiful piece of land. It was so nice to be able to drive in to Bar Harbor and spend some time, then retreat back to this little sanctuary. We originally met Meg & Dave in Arizona and are so happy they shared this perfect vacation rental with us. We will be back.

My own house is clean but not this clean and organized. I’ve stayed in many VRBOs with old, sad kitchen utensils. This one is well stocked and organized. The entire cabin is warm and welcoming. Dave and Meg are detail people.

We had a great stay at this Maine cabin. The location is peaceful and quiet - about 20 minutes to the village of Bar Harbor, but right down the street from Beech Mountain. As we drove up the drive, we were greated by deer - the next morning it was wild turkey. This cozy cabin was spacious and well furnished. It was immaculate and looked brand new - I found no dust, bugs or disrepair. The gas fireplace replaced the backyard fire pit on rainy nights. All amenities are provided. We did laundry and had wifi and satellite tv. The kitchen included all the appliances and utensils you need and a gas grill is outside. The photos on the listing do not do it justice. I highly recommend staying here.

Amazing property. Super quiet and peaceful. Short ride to Southwest Harbor, Bar Harbor and all of Arcadia NP but away from it all too! . Clean and well appointed. We cook a lot on vacation and this place actually had useable cookware. Tons of wildlife right out front door. Only 4 min walk to Beech Hill Farm. Super easy check in and out

Acadia is our family’s favorite vacation spot and David’s and Meg’s cabin has been the most amazing home away from home for a few years now. Location, cleanliness, warm and inviting decor and overall quiet and relaxing atmosphere are only a few assets of this wonderful property. We’ll be back.

David and Meg’s cabin was just what we were looking for. Very private, a beautiful yard and centrally located on the Island. The cabin was impeccably clean and extremely well appointed with everything needed for a comfortable vacation.

We loved having coffee with the gas fireplace on in the cool mornings before heading out to Bar Harbor or Acadia to explore! We would love to come back again it was a wonderful stay!!

I would love to be able to say that this place was completely perfect but I had an issue...we had a handwritten note upon entry that notified us of an issue with flies...it said something like, at this time of year, they're dealing with these flies and they offered to come over and vacuum them up if we'd like. That seemed very silly to call them over to vacuum up dead flies but honestly we were dealing with a minimum of about 10 flies each night that we returned. Super gross! The cabin is very new and they've put a lot of money into everything looking nice. Nice sheets, towels, etc. Aside from the flies, it was impeccably clean. But it's gross to walk in an find dead or dying flies on the floor, the coffee table, the kitchen counters, window sills, etc. And there were some buzzing around lights - to the point I was worried I'd be having flies fly into my mouth at night. I don't understand how they were getting in but it's an issue that should be taken care of. Also, when I opened the kitchen cabinet under the sink there were droppings of some type...mouse droppings possibly? The mattress in the bedroom was NOT comfortable. Definitely suggest putting a little more money into that since the rest of the place is so nice! The location was good for us. Affordable but close to Bar Harbor. I have pictures I took of the flies but unfortunately don't see where I'm able to share them.

Great location with hiking at Beech Mt. right down the road. The cabin is cozy and comfortable, with everything you need for your stay. Super clean! We were grateful that we were able to bring our dog, who enjoyed her stay as well. Southwest Harbor is about 10 minutes away and if you go, check out Eat A Pita, a great place to dine that was recommended by our hosts.

This was our second stay at the Beech Hill Cabin. The cabin is ideally located--a short drive to everything you want to see and do on Mount Desert. It's also peaceful and quiet and the location on a ridge top means that it is delightfully breezy, which we appreciated on warm nights. It's pretty, nicely furnished, well equipped, and one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed. Communicating with the hosts is easy. And we truly appreciate that we could bring our dog. (She liked it also!)
