Overall the property is very good. Location is good and very quite. The outside area is fantastic for sure. The inside of the house is good. I thought the beds are hard and uncomfortable.
I would stay here again just based on the outside area for sure.

We spent 3 short nights here but found it to be clean, safe, secure, and well stocked. My wife was impressed by the towel quality, I liked the dock layout as we brought a boat, and the kids liked the aquarium like wildlife that constantly swam around in the very clear water of the canal. The kitchen was stocked with just enough for meal preparation. The beds and linens were all comfortable and of reasonable quality. A/c blows cold but as others commented is kind of noisy in the back bedroom near its closet. I recommend a sound machine or a fan. Great spot! Thanks!

Excellent property, loved the fact i could keep my boat trailer on property and the giant dock to tie the boat up to. Beds could use an update. But other than that it was perfect!

We loved it here. We've been enjoying the Keys for our whole lives. Perfect breeze and all Floridians staying on this street. Thank God the pool had an ac. Super close to Hawks Key and easy access to open water. We'll be back!

Great outdoor space. The listing doesn’t show which one is poolside. We tried to get that side but, there was some confusion. Either way we did enjoy the pool the other Neighbors were nice. Nice to sit outside and enjoy the canal. Indoor was clean. A little outdated but it was still good. Tons of towels. Showers good water pressure. We did do some cooking and were fine with what was in the kitchen. Overall good stay.

We enjoy our stay so much here every year! The house is great. The dock is all set up and convenient for our boat. Great fishing, and the most beautiful canal. Serene and peaceful.

This was a great little getaway. Very clean and quiet, nice location. We were able to see sharks, manatees, many different fish in the canal. It was very nice and relaxing.

overall a very good stay with only a few minor inconveniences. internet was out for the first day but not owners fault. also the A/C is pretty loud when running and it had a slight leaking issue which Mari responded to very promptly! stayed many times here and will look to do again as we plan for future trips!!!

This was a quiet place with all you need in the back yard. We cut our trip a day short because if health reasons but will definitely be coming back. I only suggest you bring some items for the kitchen like coffee, tin foil, paper towels and baggies to store your left overs in. Otherwise this is an amazing rental and we will be back.soon.

Beautiful, comfortable destination, until the a/c system came on. The noise from the inside unit located in one of the bedroom closets and both bedroom vents kept waking us up all through the night. We would surely come again if the unit noise issue was taken care of, very nice place.
We don't know if there is an a/c issue with the other section of the duplex.

We took friends to the Keys for a birthday celebration and had a great time. The home was very clean and check-in was very easy. I felt the kitchen was stocked with only very basic items . The dock outside for our boat was perfect. We spent a good amount of time outside and all the chairs and places to sit could not have been better. We had a manatee come to our dock and there were many beautiful fish that I gave bread to every morning..Our overall experience was very positive.

Very nice place right on the canal. We were able to fish right in the backyard, with lots of Parrot fish, Sgt Majors, Snapper, and other colorful fish visible right from the deck, especially if you have a chum block. We were able to rent rods and get bait from Off The Hook for our stay. Need to go to Marathon or further for groceries and beach, but great home base to relax when you aren't on an excursion. Pool was nice for a dip, but pretty shallow. Plenty of towels on site, so no need to pack any. Lots of outdoor seating and shade. Waterfront is shared by the other half of the duplex, so that part is not private if that matters to you. Kitchen has the essentials, just enough to make simple meals. Owners also own the property on either side, so could be a great place to get multiple families together. Overall would stay again for sure.

This is the third time we have stayed at one of Mari's properties. The backyard is amazing... perfect for relaxing, fishing, swimming, kayaking, boating! Our family didn't want to leave. We even saw 6 mantees swimming in the canal! The house is very clean! We will definitely stay again!

We loved the ease of having our boat easily accessible…right out the back door. Loved the outside set up with pool, tables, loungers. Saw a manatee right next to our boat. We were also able to bring and store out paddle boards outside completely secure! It was also easy to paddle around Hawk’s Cay. Mari and Fausto were excellent hosts!

Excellent! Everything we expected. Quiet, relaxing location. Very well stocked. Was a problem with ice machine but not a real issue for us. Loved everything about the place; especially the florida decore. Wished we had bookef longer. Would definitely stay again if wr are in the keys.

We loved this place. The only negative I have to say is if you have kids who want to use the pool you’d probably be better off in the other unit attached. Both units share the pool but the pool is located at the side of the other unit. We didn’t care about that but young families might.
Aside from that, the house was lovely inside & out.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The duplex and property grounds were great!! Our only complaint was the 9am checkout. I would prefer a later check in and a later check out. We would definitely rent again!! Thank you :)

Location was great, first night we had issues with AC( water leaking on floor) Mari had some one there that night to fix it. My only complaints would be the AC is really loud when it runs and the condensation pump is very loud too. They are both in the bedroom closet so you hear them all night. Mattresses could use a pillow topper or update, they are not very comfy. But if you are only staying a few days the location makes up for that. Outside is super cute with a tiki hut. Pool is a salt water pool ( shared with duplex neighbor located on their side of yard). Canal is awesome, plenty if fish to watch. Docking for boat and easy of access to ocean via Tom’s harbor is just a few houses away. Over all very nice place. A few tiny upgrades ( quiet ac, comfy beds, and a dishwasher) and this would be a 5 star stay. I would say 4.5 as it is. Again Mari was super fast on fixing any issue which was great!

The property was clean, quiet, and available on 3 beautiful days. We were just there in the evening and enjoyed the pool when we had finished our day trips to Key West. It was situated about and hour and 20 minutes from Key West. Our only complaint would be the pillows. They were flat and firm. Otherwise, we would highly recommend this place.

Location was fantastic! Condo itself is a little dated and could use to be a bit cleaner. Towels in the bathroom did not smell 100% clean and there wasn’t enough soap for washing dishes. It should also probably be disclosed that you have to pay to launch a boat (at the private marina down the street) and pay again to get the boat out of the water. There is no nearby public/free boat ramp.

We have rented this property for the last 4 years. Every single time we have absolutely loved it. We rent both sides with friends. It is beautiful, clean, great outdoor area, easy access to ocean and the bay . Looking to rent again for next year.

No steps to climb, car parking right behind unit so no long haul carrying luggage or coolers, boat within steps of back doors, decorated adorably, sparkling clean pool, tiki hut with chairs and tables, fish cleaning station, hammock, etc etc. This duplex is perfect….you can rent both sides and it is a 4br 4bath capable for two families but you can have privacy if you want by opening or closing connecting doors.
