Our 14-days stay was fabulous. The home has just about everything that you need - beach chairs, coolers, plenty of towels, boogie boards, you name it! Wall-to-wall-floor-to-ceiling window gives you plenty of light and fresh air. We only used an AC a couple times for a couple hours! The location is simply unbeatable, you don't even need a car unless you want to do some around the island travel. We definitely recommend this home and hope to come back in near future. We love Kihei due to its central location. The condo was a perfect place to come back to at the end of our active and adventurous days. We would definitely love to stay here again!!

Kihei ended up being a great launch point for our trip in Maui and the apartment was wonderful. It was clean and easy to find. Location was so close to a bunch of things and right across from Kam Ii beach. The only negative I can think of is the A/C unit in the bedroom; in order to save power it is on a 4 hour timer. It would cool down relatively quickly when we would turn it on for the night but we would be woken up by it turning off and would need to reset the timer to make it through the night. This was relatively minor inconvenience and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this spot!

We enjoyed our stay at this condo and our hosts were great communicator's. Wonderful to be just across the street from the beach and appreciated how quiet the location was. There are several wonderful eating spots (including a shout out to 808 Deli right next door) that we enjoyed. The kitchen had all the equipment we needed to prepare several of our meals.

This unit was clean and well maintained. The owners were very responsive and we completed our stay without any issues. The only downsides are that the apartment was not very well-stocked (no shampoo or body wash) and the bed was a bit wobbly. Also the local area in Kihei and the condo complex are more on the busy-side. So great place to be if you want to be in a busy and lively area, but not so great if you’re looking for seclusion. There are a great many food options around and it’s a great location if you’re planning on driving up Haleakala or doing the Road to Hana.

Michael and Clare have been super responsive throughout the whole process. Boogie boards made for fun impromptu outings. Location could not be better, and the place was just great to come back home to.

The location of the condo was great for walking to restaurants, a quick walk to the beach for sunset, and across the parking lot to the pool.

My boyfriend and I wanted a little place to stay at while vacationing in Hawaii. It was very clean and perfect size for what we needed. They provided all the necessities and communicated very well with us.

Clare and Michael are wonderful hosts. We could tell on checking in that this condo is loved and is their second home. It made us feel at home as well. There was nothing missing, from a cooler, extra ice trays, to linens and well shoot I did use some bandaids from the first aid kit I meant to replace! We had everything we needed and more. We did not spend much time at the condo and didn't walk around the area, but it looks very walkable. Close to plenty of restaurants and beach, location was great for us as we traveled to kite beach daily and drive was manageable to get anywhere on island really. Thank you Clare and Michael, we hope to come back soon!

This was our first time to Hawaii. We had an amazing time and your beautiful home was very comfortable and cozy. You supplied all of the essentials and more for us to have fun at the beach, cook, and pack lunches for an amazing stay! We toured to Hana which took most of the day and the road is CRAZY but beautiful with a lot of great stops along the way. We went zip-lining with Jungle Zip-line and they were fabulous hosts! Very knowledgeable of the area. We also went snorkeling with Maui Snorkel and that was the BEST DAY EVER! Swam with Huge turtles and 3 SHARKS! Then got engaged!💍� We walked to lava field and toured many other beaches all over butt... yours was by far the best! The mattress wasn't as comfy as are used to but other then that, We will be back for sure! Thank you again so much! Cory & Stephanie

We loved Michael and Clare’s Condo. It was equipped with everything you could ever need from blender to beach toys. They were great hosts responding to any questions within a short time. We had a lovely time in Claire and Michael's condo. Perfectly situated to catch the tradewinds, a quiet location, with a great set up. We cook in mostly and were very pleased that the kitchen had everything we needed, there were some condiments and spices which is very useful. The condo is well appointed and provides beach chairs, a sturdy umbrella, cooler, boogie boards, towels and pillows. The property is well kept and handily located near Kam beach, restaurants and shopping. We really loved this homey place. Claire is a darling and very easy deal with. We felt welcomed and after two delightful weeks were sad to leave. We would stay in this condo again and recommend it heartily to couples; families with little kids and anyone who wants to enjoy peace and quiet, with all the convenience of a great Kihei location. Mahalo!!

Property was clean and well cared for. It was stocked with a lot of plates, cups, knives and some basic cookware which was nice. Location is wonderful. Quite neighbors, and no elevator which minimizes noise. The AC was nice in the main living room, but it got very hot in the master bedroom where the AC struggles to reach. Even after opening windows, trying to get drafts and expirementing many nights, it was way too hot for our comfort level. Since the AC has a timer for 6 hours, it will go off on the middle of the night leaving you hot and sticky in the morning. We did not sleep under a single cover the entire time there. Also the lanai view has been overgrown by the other property’s bushes, so there isn’t an ocean view like it states in the description. Overall, very nice affordable condo in a great location, and I’d recommend it to family.

Clare and Michael have created a terrific Maui condo getaway! And the Kihei Kai Nani complex is absolutely lovely, with pretty landscaping, an inviting pool, friendly staff, and is directly across the street from the beautiful Kam II beach! The location is so convenient! As I mentioned, the beach is directly across the street, and the complex is nestled between restaurants on one side and a shopping plaza for easy access to convenience and grocery items on the other side. The condo itself has all the amenities you might think of, and more. The owners take great care of the property, and there were extra comforts, like beach chairs, beach towels, an umbrella, and useful kitchen pantry items for cooking that made our stay very enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again, and whole heartedly recommend this rental to others looking for a relaxing Kihei escape full of lots of beach time and beautiful Maui sunsets! Mahalo!

This was my 8th trip to Maui but the first time I have stayed at the Kihei Kai Nan and I was lucky enough to find Michael and Clare's unit (#342) on VRBO. They love their condo in Kihei and it was apparent upon arrival. It's well kept, clean and very comfortable. There are beach chairs, coolers, a large beach umbrella and many other amenities that make a day at the beach a breeze. From this location you can walk to just about everything, the beach across the street and close by restaurants and shops. There is a partial view of the ocean from the spacious lanai, Since there is no elevator there are no walkways that are normally outside the bedroom windows so it's a very quiet location. The unit is in building 11 which is conveniently across from the pool and set back from the road....again, nice and quite!!!! Michael and Clare were so helpful during the booking process, and kept in touch afterwards to provide information about the area, car rentals, grocery stores, etc. If it's your first time to Maui, they go above and beyond to make sure your vacation gets off to a good start. I was there at the end of October for Halloween in Lahaina and it's a wonderful time of year to visit Maui. Book this lovely unit for your Maui vacation. You won't be disappointed!!!
