This home is spotless, warm and comfortable. The split level floorplan has carpeted stairs, safe for our toddlers, plus sleeping quarters on separate levels. Abundant basic cooking essentials, spices etc, is so appreciated. Love the sunny corner location with ample parking and open space. We enjoyed everything about our stay. The house was very well equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay .The only thing we did not find were the instructions to operate the gas fireplace in the living room.Also , the oven did not work would not warm to the right temperature.We had to really look for the bbq but did find it eventually .A brush to clean the bbq would be a nice tool to have as it was well used .It did not stop us from enjoying this lovely house .Especially the binder had great recommendations made by the owner for hikes and stores and restaurants.

We had a lovely time staying at Winnie's Place. This is my 2nd Thanksgiving stay. The outdoor patios are wonderful we used them for gatherings with coffee in the morning & wine in the afternoon. I have family living in Cambria made a nice getaway for us all!

This was our second time staying at Winnie's Place in the last two years. It is a perfectly sized home for our family of four in a great location. It is very clean and updated with a nicely sized kitchen and newer appliances for doing your cooking at home. However, I will say that due to the uncomfortable and very squeaky bed in the master bedroom, we probably won't be staying there again unless it is replaced. Neither my wife or I can move in the bed without waking the other up. The living room furniture is not the most comfortable either, however, those alone would not be a concern without the issue of the bed.

Winnie's Place was simply great. We went with our family - grandparents, parents, 1 toddler and 1 newborn and it accommodated us perfectly without feeling as though we were on top of ourselves. It was very clean, the west village of Cambria was walkable (down/up a hill) or a 2 minute drive, and it was well stocked. I will definitely stay here again next time we come to Cambria.
Notes & suggestions to management company/owner:
1. We experienced 2 power outages in Cambria while we were there. if this is common I would suggest having some information about what can be done + camping lights or candles available. There is no cell service so you cannot contact anyone if the power goes out.
2. The description said there was an electric BBQ but I could not find it. Not a big deal at all but would have been nice to have and use.
3. It would be awesome if there was a gas heater on the back porch!

Very beautiful location in a quiet lovely street with nice trees and beautiful views.
Everything was clean inside and enough room for everyone to sleep and have their privacy.
The only thing we liked a bit less was the smell in the house.

Home away from home
We were celebrating my husband's 45th and wanted a central location to all the activities. We had visited Cambria in the past so I was excited to find this gem. It was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. I was especially happy that it had 3 bathrooms. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the area.

We really enjoyed our stay at Winnie's Place over Labor Day weekend! The house is cute and charming, and (most importantly) very clean & safe. The neighborhood is very quiet and not far from the beach. The layout feels cozy - the master bedroom is upstairs with its own bathroom. Everything else is on the lower floor. If you tried to squeeze in more than 4 people, you might feel a little on top of each other in the common areas. But overall it was perfect for our little family - we will be back!

This was a wonderful home to stay In. This was the first home I’ve ever stayed in that was perfectly clean, fully stocked incase you forgot something and a perfect location. We enjoyed our peaceful stay here and will come back again. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood with a view of the ocean and the sound of the waves at night. The night breeze is enjoyable and there is plenty of everything you may need. The towels are soft and not stained, the kitchen is stocked with plenty of utensils, pots, pans, serving platters. It’s a 5 min drive to the beach, I don’t recommend walking. Perfect for a family or couple. I would recommend doing any grocery shopping before you come. The local market is extremely expensive and will cost you more than double on your grocery bill.
