Very polite and communitive staff. Very clean room, very spacious. A nice free fridge with water and juices. Breakfast was simple but very nice and an extra touch is a fresh croissant from a local bakery in a flavour of your choice waiting on your table in the morning.

Didn't realise the location was in an area with bars and restaurants directly outside and single glazed windows with shutters so noise drainage isn't great in the evening.

Avoid if you expect the owner to engage with you over an issue. The worst booking I have ever made and we travel a lot. We were aware Room 2 had a sofa bed but after we checked in my husband sat on the bed to change his shoes and when he went to stand up, a sharp protruding piece of metal ripped through his trousers. We alerted Maria who was still on site after letting us in, she felt the very dangerous metal spike looked at the trousers and advised us to put a towel over it. We pointed out that getting in and out of bed was dangerous, as this would rip into the skin of a bare leg, to which she shrugged and said ‘that’s life’! We asked her to contact the manager who I believe is called Helina. Helina couldn’t come across as she apparently had the flu despite saying she would meet us the next morning. She told us to take the trousers to be repaired!? This was on the afternoon of 23rd December and we were checking out at 10.30 the next morning, a Sunday - Christmas Eve - it was our 1st visit to Bergamo. At breakfast on Sunday 24th - Helina didn’t show up despite various messages! She first claimed she had come over to breakfast early obviously hoping we would be lying in but hadn’t realised that I was first into breakfast at 8. It was just more lies. On 24th Dec she then sent a message to me saying “I’m so sorry, what would you like” then silence until we contacted booking.com Problems are rare on my stays but if ever there was an issue I’ve always experienced positive attitudes towards a resolution but not on this occasion. Stay away from here! Edit as host responded: pleased she confirmed she could see Maria on the webcam providing the items that should have been provided in the 1st place. If she also checks the breakfast webcam she’ll see the tiny allocated table with only 2 chairs for 5 people. All chairs & tables reserved for other guests so we could not go as one group. Most of this stuff is usually laughed off by us but the arrogant attitude not so funny.

Stanza lussuosa, estremamente pulita, conforme alla descrizione, silenziosa. Posizione centralissima, a 10 min a piedi dalla funivia per Bergamo Città Alta. Colazione self service forse leggermente limitata ma buona (brioches fresche ogni giorno)

Se dobbiamo trovare un cavillo, magari il fatto che non ci sia il self check-in.

Das Frühstück war in Ordnung, aber es war nicht immer ab 8:00 alles verfügbar. Die Lage ist hevorragend, wenn man z.B. ins Opernhaus will. Man ist wirklich im Zentrum.

Es gab kaum Möglichkeiten, Kleiderstücke aufzuhängen, kein Kasten, kein Tisch, zu wenige Ablageflächen. Die Regulierung der Heizung hat nicht gut funktioniert. Die Unterkunft ist sehr schwer zu finden.

Nel lavandino e nella doccia l'acqua non veniva scaricata, problema risolto dallo staff. L'ultima notte tra le 3 e le 5 abbiamo dovuto sgridare un gruppo di ragazze nelle stanze vicine che si sono messe a parlare ad alta voce nel corridoio e nelle camere.

Very considerate regarding the special request (we had a birthday and they prepared a nice small surprise)

Even though it’s not directly related to the property, it can get noisy due to the nearby bars during the weekend.

Localization and size of the room

Only one comforter on the bed, I wasn’t traveling as a couple, so I would appreciate the second one.

Śliczny pokój w starej kamienicy, super klimat, czysto, przestronnie, wygodnie. Sympatyczna obsługa posługująca się także językiem angielskim, bardzo dobry kontakt przez booking. Super lokalizacja. Wyśmienite śniadania serwowane na miejscu, świeże, smaczne, różnorodne, dla nas idealne, podawane w przyjemnej sali śniadaniowej z widokiem na plac. Ogromny plus za kapcie, suszarkę, ciasteczka i zestaw z kawą i herbatą. Z przyjemnością wrócimy do tego miejsca.

המיקום מעולה. נמצא בחלק ההיסטורי של ברגמו. כדי לפרוק מזוודות מהרכב היה צורך לקבל אישור כניסה עם רכב מראש. החדר היה גדול ונקי. מקלחת גדולה עם זרם מים מצוין, מים חמים. כשהגענו לפני מועד הצ'ק אין היה רק חדר אחד מוכן ולמרות שהגענו מוקדם קבלנו אותו ואפילו הוגש לנו קפוצינו חם וטעים. זה חימם את הלב כי הגענו ביום גשום. המיטה היתה מאוד נוחה. בסה"כ מומלץ בחום.

ארוחת הבוקר הייתה בסיסית ביותר ללא ביצים, גבינות או נקניק. הייתי שמח לארוחת בוקר עשירה יותר. תריסים בחדר היו שבורים. אין חניה ע"י החדר אלא רק בחניון סמוך. אבל ידענו את זה מראש.

It’s really amazing, everything on the property is clean, new and organized!!! The location is incredible, with some restaurants and a market really close from there.

The keys (Are real keys an not a card or something like this). The reception doesn’t work 24h.

The room/suite was amazing, stylish with a perfect match of old and modern.

The staff was all very friendly and were also in tune with me asking about the possibility of a lactosefree breakfast. On the last day/morning another women catered breakfast. Though it was good, certain things (that were present the days before) were lacking. We had to ask for coffee cups(which she didn’t have), orange juice, napkins etc… they were missing though it was only 9 am (and breakfast was possible till 9:30 am). The coffee machine wasn’t working and she didn’t know anything about it, we fixed it ourselves. Overall she was quite unfriendly and inhospitable, as if she found us a nuisance. Before checking out at 11am we waited in the room because of the rain. At 10:50 she walked in and said she needed to clean… all in Italian because she didn’t speak English. A bit of an unfortunate ending to an otherwise impeccable stay.

Maria was exceptionally helpful when we had a problem with lost phones - can’t praise her too much. property in a very nice square with outdoor cafes. nice continental breakfast. air conditioned on very hot night.

A cosy apartment in the historical center, spacious, very clean, with all the amenities you need. The breakfast was very good, not just croissant, sweets and coffee, but also with prosciutto, cheese and fresh fruit, juices, milk, coffee, tea.
