Super clean beautiful house. Perfect to walk to the fun and sun of Geneva on the Lake. But far enough away to not hear the noise of late night partying if you want to call it a night early.

The house was extremely clean. Plenty of linen and kitchen ware. The back yard was amazing and we enjoyed making s’mores every night. Would definitely stay here again

The location to the lake and downtown strip was great. Fenced in yard was great for the dogs. Loved that you could walk to the local park and see beautiful Lake Erie. This property was very clean.

Second stay for us. Well kept and clean. Excellent location.

We had everything we needed, all was in good condition and very clean. A nice quiet spot within easy driving distance to the strip and other locations of interest. We had fun at the zip lines and hiking in Geneva State Park!

We were satisfied that this property is a 10 minute walk to the strip. Clean. Nice fire pit out back with a woodsy feel.. The backyard is fenced in but I wouldn't count on it for larger dogs (or very small ones) -as the fence is in poor condition in a few spots with some adjacent vegetation growth. I believe a window AC might serve the house better than the existing floor model AC. The floor unit doesn't have a lot of oomph, and temperatures above 76F it seems it may struggle to cool but just the immediate dining room. Overall not a bad spot, needs better AC for deep summer. PS> I was surprised that owner had not responded to a courtesy, informative email I sent. Though perhaps it was not absolutely necessary, it would have been a nice touch for a response.

I didn't care for the naked man next door. It was a shock and disgusting. Because of this, I will not be renting this property again.

The inside of the house must have been recently updated... bathroom was very clean as well as the kitchen and the beds had a memory foam feeling.. very comfortable!! Pull out was a typical “uncomfortable feel” but young children probably won’t mind. If you have pet allergies you may want to ask manager to remove the aerial rugs if they have not been cleaned as of today (August 8th, 2020) per hair was very noticeable ... that was the only issue we had with allergies. Walking distance to lake and downtown. Unique “ throw back” town... reminded me of the Jersey boardwalk on the street! Definitely recommend.

Inside of home is very clean with comfortable beds and well supplied kitchen. Lindsay was very responsive to any questions.The back yard has a nice fire pit area.All chairs need replaced in back yard due to cracking.

This was our first VRBO. The property looked clean and location was close to the main strip. Communication with Lindsay was quick and easy. When we got there, the property was better than expected. Super clean and cozy, and the huge backyard was complete fenced in, which was great for our little dog who was happy to explore every inch. Beds were comfy, though sofa bed was a little uncomfortable. If you're picky about your sleeping arrangements, bring your own pillows and blankets. Property only had one bathroom, which was a challenge for the 6 of us staying there, but we made it work. Otherwise, zero complaints. Location was extremely convenient: 3 min drive or 15 min walk. We opted to walk back and forth, and it seemed to get shorter each time. The walk was nice, especially to get donuts in the morning and after a big meal. Would definitely stay here again. The house location was the perfect distance to the public beach, the strip and to Mary’s diner for breakfast. We enjoyed the large kitchen table to play games and backyard for a bonfire to end the night. The owner had great response time via text messages and had detail responses and accommodations. Definitely would stay again!

This was the perfect place for our family and dogs to spend the weekend. Highly recommend!

My family and I had a wonderful weekend here! We spent a lot of time catching up and enjoying each others company outside on the patio, which felt very private and comfortable. It was also wonderful to be able to have our dogs with us since they are part of the family too.

The house was lovely and clean. We stayed during Thunder on the strip, we were close enough to the hustle, bustle and noise, yet far enough for a quite weekend.

The house was fine a little hot as ac was limited. Lovely garden and close to all amenities. Barn was run down and took away from overall appearance. Didn’t want to know what could be lurking in there but didn’t see anything untoward. Would stay there again

We had a really nice time at Lindsay's place! There was plenty of room for everything we wanted to do. We had a picnic with family and friends, a bonfire, and played games. It's an easy walk to GOTL. We will definitely stay there on our next trip.

House was very clean and nice. There was very little toilet paper - had to go out and buy it. House Keeping requirement were excessive. Lighting was very much deficient - no place to see to read. Bed side lamps and tables needed. Twirly-lamps do not work. Front bedroom need air conditioner. Rear bedroom needs dresser or chest of drawers. TV was not set-up to work automatically - after much searching found it not set on correct input.

We enjoyed the accomodations. Everything was in great condition, clean and well maintained. The air conditioning was wonderful, as the weather was HOT. The beds were comfortable, the furnishings were lovely. We enjoyed entertaining our friends in the spacious dining area and at the wonderful campfire area in the back yard. We had fun playing several days of golf at the Geneva-on-the-Lake Municipal golf course. We recommend Ferrentes Winery for lunch and Mary's kitchen for breakfast, a visit to Fairport Harbor Lighthouse, souvenir shopping on the strip, and Madsen's doughnuts. We would recommend this place to our friends. It is conveniently located and yet private.

Great little place! I was surprised how clean and updated this house is! We will definitley look to stay here again!

Our stay at Forest Lake House was very nice. The overall condition of the home was excellent, clean and comfortable. Everything is new, from ceiling to floor. The area was quiet and friendly. It's located a short 5 minute drive from the strip. We enjoyed the use of the fire pit in the large rear yard. It provided hours of fun for our 14 & 12 y.o. boys. Although fenced the rear yard is not completely secure if you have a small dog as we had be careful. The owner was available for any questions and easily reached by phone. We would stay here again, very nice.

Newly renovated with all new furnishings, cookware, dishes and appliances. Pet friendly. Big eating area with enough room for family and games. There is only one bathroom. The backyard is not yet ready for play but is expected to be done for the summer of 2012. Looking forward to another stay in this rental.

We were pleasantly surprised to find out that this cosy home was completely remodeled. The furniture is new and tastefully matched up. The neighborhood is quiet and close to all the Geneva on the Lake attractions. But for us it was just a great place to disappear for a few days. Also highly recommend the restaurant "Allisandros" an Italian restaurant just a few miles east on the main highway.
